Outstanding accommodation in a beautiful location . No detail spared either with the welcome gifts or the beautifully thought out decor particularly inside but also outside the cottage . I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Knoll Cottage in the picturesque Rosedale Abbey, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the stylish decor and the warm, inviting atmosphere of the cottage.
The interior design is a perfect blend of modern elegance and cozy charm, making it feel like a home away from home. Each room is beautifully decorated, with thoughtful details that enhance the overall ambiance. The living space is comfortable and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the stunning North Yorkshire Moors.
One of the standout features of The Knoll Cottage is the outdoor space. The views are simply breathtaking, allowing you to soak in the natural beauty of the moors right from the comfort of the garden. And let’s not forget the hot tub! It was the perfect way to unwind under the stars on an evening.
The location is also fantastic. Rosedale Abbey offers a peaceful retreat with plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities, including walking and cycling trails that showcase the stunning landscape. Plus, the local village has a charming atmosphere with friendly residents and couple of pubs which is in easy walking distance but not if you struggle to walk up steepish banks (chimney bank) there is also a couple of bakery shops with one having.a tea room in.
Overall, my stay at The Knoll Cottage was nothing short of magical. If you’re looking for a stylish, comfortable, and tranquil getaway in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors, I can’t recommend this place enough.

So much more than the pictures suggest. We loved our time here. Nicely secluded location, hottub spot was ideal for relaxing views across the fields, spacious garden and fenced dog area perfect for peace of mind. The interior was great, finished to high standard through out, well stocked kitchen equipment and we wanted nothing more during our stay. Plenty of room for the 3 of us and our 3 dogs. Highly recommended. Biscuits in the welcome basket were yummy too :)

Lovely cottage with gorgeous views. We stayed at the Knoll from the 13th September for one week & didn’t disappoint, the weather was great for us which made it even better. The cottage is very comfortable with lots of space both inside & out for parking. The village itself is a 5 minute walk from the Knoll with two little tearooms which both do great meals. We also did some great walks from the cottage round the village & the scenery was amazing.

Great place to stay and located within easy reach of Whitby, Helmsley etc. The views were spectacular. Two great local pubs within walking distance too.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location, had everything we required for a peaceful week away from it all.
We enjoyed gazing at the views and enjoyed sunset in the hot tub while listening to the array of wildlife.

We enjoyed a much-needed Easter break at The Knoll. It was the perfect escape from the rush of the city and the cottage had everything we could have wished for and more. We and our cocker spaniel felt very lucky to enjoy the cottage and its beautiful surroundings. It's amazing to find a luxury property which is dog friendly and has carefully considered the needs of humans and our furry friends! The property is perfectly positioned to enjoy walks in the moors, trips to the beach or relaxing walks in the nearby countryside followed by a warming cup of tea in front of the fire or relaxing dip in the hot tub.
