We booked this to celebrate family birthdays and it was the perfect find. Molly and Lewis could not have been more helpful and welcoming. The accommodation was superb and location perfect. We would definitely stay here again and will certainly look to unique retreats first when planning another getaway. Thank you one again
We enjoyed a much-needed Easter break at The Knoll. It was the perfect escape from the rush of the city and the cottage had everything we could have wished for and more. We and our cocker spaniel felt very lucky to enjoy the cottage and its beautiful surroundings. It's amazing to find a luxury property which is dog friendly and has carefully considered the needs of humans and our furry friends! Good location and very lovely accommodation the under floor heating didn't work properly so it was cold on a night time

The cottage is easy to find. You have a designated car parking spot. The cottage itself is beautiful. The hosts have thought of everything and it’s literally home from home. You get a lovely hamper on arrival and fresh made bread which is a fab touch. The views from the cottage are stunning. In summer I can imagine sat outside having bbqs and relaxing, it was a bit cold our week although we did watch the sunset one night. Location wise is perfect. Yet another lovely stay at this fantastic cottage. Molly and Lewis are very attentive hosts who kept in regular contact throughout our stay without being intrusive. The cottage is well presented and appointed with an extremely well equipped kitchen. One small point (not really a criticism) but as we age we are now finding the sofas in the sitting room are a little low. If there’s a holiday cottage in a nicer location with better views I’d be extremely surprised.
