One of the nicest cottages we’ve ever stayed in! Beautifully designed, decorated and equipped with a huge and incredibly comfortable bed. Set in its own grounds alongside West End Farm (which we were lucky enough to get a look at and which I’m currently saving up for!) There were koi carp and sheep and a beautiful ex racehorse plus the dogs were delighted with the secure dog paddock. Highly recommend!
Just returned from a short break at West End Farm. Absolutely out of this world. Attention to detail, facilities that cater for absolutely every eventuality and surroundings that are truly breathtaking. Perfect for families with dogs, our dogs enjoyed their runs in the secure dog field. Beautiful grounds. If you are wanting high end, this will not disappoint.
Every thing you need under one roof. Pool and jacuzzi excellent and the whole lay out of the house was perfect for our family enjoyed every minute.
From the moment we arrived at the cottage; the design, the treats, and the expense that you'd spent in making this look and feel like a second home is exactly what made relaxing so easy to to do. You had thought of everything related to bringing our dog (Rosie) even though we had brought it to. including ice cubes, fresh bread, dog biscuits, blankets, even a nice toy for her. Perfect. There are areas where some cottages tend to try and save money, because it's easy to do, because they're not relevant for all parties, but you guys didn't! We recently acquired a rescue dog who still ends lots of attention so chose our go to piece of heavenly escape for 2 weeks as opposed to a European break. Absolutely loved the accommodation the outstanding views and tranquility!! Chapeau to one and all
We honestly had the most amazing stay at Cowslip Retreat. From the moment we arrived, everything felt so peaceful, luxurious, and incredibly well thought out. The studio is absolutely beautiful and full of little details that make it feel really special and welcoming. Waking up to those panoramic valley views each morning was unreal, and seeing the heritage steam trains passing through the landscape made it feel so magical and uniquely Yorkshire. Beautiful well equipped 5 star holiday cottage. The accommodation is luxurious and everything you could possibly want/need catered for even freshly made bread still warm on your arrival. A food hamper is provided with locally sourced goodies. The location is perfect for exploring this area of Yorkshire with a shop bakery and butcher located within walking distance. Great places to eat a short drive away. We had a fantastic break
This was our third stay at Ewelands Retreat, it is in a lovely setting with gorgeous views. The weather was very hot during our stay so a welcome addition would be a fan to make it more comfortable in these conditions.
We stayed at The Piggery with our family to celebrate my 60th birthday and it really made it special. The accommodation was superb, with everything we needed and the most amazing view which we were able to enjoy every day thanks to the great weather. The position was great, easy access to buses and trains and within easy reach of all the surrounding towns and coast. A relaxing and enjoyable holiday
