We had a fab week making memories at these cottages, they catered for our every need, the young , middle aged and older all sorted .
Fabulous cottages , everything you ever need and more . Spotless and perfect .
We're just back from another fabulous stay at Barnacre Cottages. We stay in a Mole End Cottage. It's a great spacious cottage and perfectly equipped for someone with accessibility needs. Ground floor bedrooms, wet room and lots of well placed rails and bars to support mobility.
The cottage are very well equipped with lots of kitchen utensils, crockery etc, no need to bring anything.
The family team at the cottage are always available to address your needs and resolve any issues, although we didn't have any at all.
I must also recommend the view. You can see all the way to Blackpool on...more
An ideal location to celebrate our daughter's 40th with our daughter & son and their families.
The accommodation is spacious, clean and comfortable, with everything provided for our needs. Ample parking and also spaces to enjoy outside, plus plenty to explore in nearby Garstang and Scorton and numerous options for local walks.
We had a fabulous time together and would definitely consider returning and no hesitation in recommending to others.
Excellent communication with the owners who provided everything we needed to know both prior to and during our stay.
We really enjoyed our stay at The Old Stables but unfortunately could not attend the wedding evening party due to being flooded in on the 31st. Luckily for us the cottage provided a great party area for us to celebrate New Year.
The only comment for us would be the upstairs bedroom sizes and only 3 bathrooms. It did take some careful planning for eleven adults to get ready.
Beautiful area for walking despite the rain.
The Woodpecker Cottage was absolutely perfect as the main get together event, due to its access, ground floor en-suite bedroom for my elderly parents, no steps except the conservatory, which they easily managed
We had 4 of the beautiful cottages and this accommodated all our needs
Have stayed before with a smaller group and will certainly stay again and as a family we are looking at maybe a summer month, as the surroundings and a trip to the village would be ideal on a sunny day
This house is absolutely beautiful, it’s got such a warm and cosy feel to it. We stayed in August for a week as a family of 10.
We found the attention to detail was amazing, every possible thing you could need in the kitchen. We did need a set of kitchen scales but after messaging Beth she was round straight away! Nothing was too much trouble.
We found the location really nice, it’s rural but the motor way is a 5 minute drive, and we went to some lovely little villages near by! We enjoyed the walks around the house too although very hilly. The oldies struggled a bit with the hills.
