We had a fantastic stay in a lovely cottage. Our hostess, Joan, was really nice and the cottage lacked for nothing. We were lucky with the weather which made our stay even better. Our only quibble is the late check-in time of 4.30
This charming and excellently appointed cottage in the rural village of Kirk Ireton was the perfect base for exploration of this part of the Peak District. The decor and furnishings were contemporary but with a unique custom made traditional feel, we were very comfortable. The master bed was a major design statement being a pretty large and superbly crafted homage to a four poster but with a robust contemporary twist. Not to be missed!
