Fantastic time at an amazing property and surrounded by beautiful countryside. Be prepared for narrow lanes. Just one thing we would have liked was an instruction manual for the Aga. Great food at the local pub 'The Woolpack in the village too.

Down Farm Manor exceeded our expectations in every way, the view over the valley is very special, a quiet hill top location surrounded by pastures and forests.

Kitchen well accessorized, a cozy TV room with a small wood-burning fireplace, and a superb large log burning fireplace in the great room.

An unusual bonus, a covered car park for four vehicles.

Our two weeks stay was too short, we hope to return and visit more of the quaint and charming villages of the Cotswolds.

Everything about Down Farm Manor is really fabulous, the character and charm of the house, the setting is beyond words. It really is a treat to stay somewhere so special and we will be back again one day for sure.

The house has bundles of character and charm and is truly quite unique, it is also clean and well equipped with everything you could need.

The setting is breathtaking, the photos really don't tell the whole story, it's only when you arrive, you can see how picturesque this spot really is.

The host, Tom is friendly and helpful.

A real gem, I highly recommend Down Farm Manor in every way

We had a great stay at Down Farm Manor for a family get together. The house is well presented and gave us lots of space in an amazing setting. We enjoyed walking and visiting the Woolpack.

Spent seven days at the Down Farm Manor in April with extended family. Everyone was very comfortable as there are plenty of bedrooms and everyone had their own bathroom.

House has so much character and history, absolutely charming property to experience quintessential English countryside living as lord and lady of the manor.
Views down the hill are absolutely stunning too. Kitchen is very well equipped.

In summary: absolutely outstanding property that feels like home.

Such a picturesque house and setting. We loved our stay and the house had such a lovely feel to it felt like home from home.

The house was well equipped and the gardens were beautiful with the most stunning views. All the beds were super comfortable we all slept so well with the peaceful location too.

Great host we even got to see the new born lambs. Would loved to have stayed longer!

A family get together in such an outstanding property. The rural location was perfect. The house delivered beyond expectations. It was very spacious and well decorated with a real family feel. There was a soul to the house which you don’t often get with holiday rentals. The downstairs was well equipped with plenty of shared snd separate space, ideal for families. The master bedroom was wonderful. All the beds were comfortable. Would highly recommend and we will be visiting again

A beautiful home in a stunning location. As you enter the drive to the Manor it is just Wow!!
The Manor is equipped with everything you need to make your stay perfect. The welcome basket was a lovely addition too.
Very dog friendly, lush open fires & amazing walks all around you.
The Woolpack pub in the village is a must visit for a beer or food (or both)!
If you are a racing fan this place is amazing as it is decorated with all kinds of great achievements!
A must visit & we will definitely return

Down Farm Manor is a beautiful Cotswolds house, with a fabulous charm about it and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The house was clean and a little welcome pack was left for us which was a nice touch. The views from the house across the countryside were superb and we enjoyed sitting outside with our coffee watching the pheasants and horses.
We would highly recommend a stay at the house, whether you are a couple or a family. There are plenty of walks on the doorstep and lovely villages within easy access by car nearby. We can’t wait to return… One of our best stays yet!
