Forming part of a pretty row of Cotswold stone cottages, Fairview is the epitome of country charm. The pale stone exterior reveals a surprisingly spacious, and elegant cottage with all the creature comforts needed for a delightful stay in the Cotswolds. Sleeping eight across four bedrooms, making it a perfect place for a family gathering, please note that the third bedroom has restricted height, and although the single beds are full size, it is most suitable for children, whilst the fourth bedroom is a beautifully appointed garden annexe. With Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh just three miles away and a friendly pub within a stone’s throw, it has everything you could want for a countryside escape.

A beautiful little cottage in a lovely village
Unfortunately the stay was spoilt by lack of tlc in the plumbing department, no hot water in the annex, tepid water in the en-suite and scorching hot in the bathroom
Met with a very helpful Donna on day two in the morning and sorted out the annex issue (tripped switch in locked cupboard)and a plumber arranged for end of the day to sort the to bathrooms out
Plumber did arrive and sort bathroom out but not en-suite, new shower required.
My mother and father are 90 and 93 and this was hopefully going to be a perfect holiday for our last holiday with mum who stayed in the annex with my father.
Mum cried after taking a cold shower before telling us of the plumbing issue .
Please sort plumbing out !

Lovely stay - perhaps a little rough around the edges for the price

We really enjoyed staying here and found the house extremely clean and inviting. Very warm, and lovely stove.

Slightly lacking in commodities - no tea towels, dishwasher tablets, detergent or recycling bags.

The temperature valves on the indoor showers were not working so water was rather chilly, and one shower leaked through the ceiling, but the agents kindly arranged a same-day plumber to come and fix it. They also gave us a bag of wood for the stove, which was appreciated.

2 families (4 adults and 2 children) stayed together at Fairview Cottage. The cottage is beautiful and the welcome pack was superb and very much appreciated. There is a community shop next door and a friendly pub only a couple of minutes walk away. The cottage was very well positioned for exploring the area, with Morton in Marsh, Stow and Daylesford all nearby and within 20 minutes drive to Broadway or Burford. Thank you so much, we will definitely be returning.

We weren’t sure of what to expect as this is a part of the Cotswolds that we hadn’t visited before . We were blown away by the cottage . Set in a tiny village(?) with a friendly cafe/ general store and a pub a few footsteps away . It’s set in an extremely quiet area but the bustling town of stow on the old is less than 3 miles away .
Upon entering the cottage we were welcomed by a beautifully lit christmas tree . There was a lovely welcome pack of all the essentials . The cottage was spotlessly clean and warm . All the rooms were well appointed with impeccable attention to details . Crisp linens on all the beds . We loved it so much we will be rebooking to come back in January !!

Beautiful cosy cottage in Longborough.

We rented the cottage as 2 couples and a 17 year old.

The location is great as we often popped over to the local pub. It’s such easy access to Stow & Broadway.

The cottage itself is like home from home. Very tastefully decorated and very very comfortable.

Thank you to the housekeeper who popped out to change the battery on the smoke alarm on Saturday evening it was much appreciated.

We’ve just got back from a wonderful time staying here! The cottage is beautiful and in the most perfect location! The village is lovely and also so close to other places like stow on the wold, bourton on the water and slaughter! Would definitely recommend and will return!

A really lovely location and a comfortable cottage with a charming small garden. A couple of issues that could be improved upon: The wifi was inadequate for the 4 people trying to work remotely, lots of interrupted meetings and frustration!
The bath towels were a bit small and well-used
The outside sitting area with table has no shade, it was hot and it would have been lovely to have a patio umbrella available.
It should be clear that the beds are not king size and the one in the outside room is small for 2 people.
The kitchen has everything one needs and is well appointed.
