Offering a true countryside escape, the renovated and restored Granary at Hunt Court, previously used to house grain, is now a modern holiday home set in the heart of a 25-acre Gloucestershire farm. You will find yourself surrounded by peaceful farmland and beautiful scenery, making it an ideal location to simply switch off and relax. Set less than 5 miles from Cheltenham and within 20 miles of many of the Cotswolds’ favourite attractions, you have the best of both worlds choosing to visit the hustle and bustle or stay in at this idyllic location. Sleeping four the cottage has a welcoming and beautifully appointed living/dining room with a woodburning stove and original exposed beams. You have your own private garden and two large stables can be hired, giving you the option to bring your own horses and explore the beautiful Cotswolds on horseback.

What a warm welcome we all received - us and our dog! The hosts Stephen and Jess are experts at being very available when you need them at the same time never interfering - so we felt really looked after as well as feeling all the independence of holidaying in a separate space. The Granary is beautiful - well equipped, great wifi signal, warm, the shower is pipping hot, the beds comfy, carpeted throughout and the log burner makes the place so cosy (and Stephen lit it for our arrival). We wished the rain might have made walking a little easier as the ground was sodden (you need wellies!), and we wished that there would be have a pub to be able to walk to across the fields...but, there is a farm shop within reach...and frankly those things have nothing to do with the actual property, which we would return to in a heartbeat. And the dog even got to make use of a warm shower outside post walks, so she was happy and we liked having the downstairs utility room to store all the dog and walking gear! We are planning to come back - if this gem isn't fully booked the whole time - thank you so much!

Our stay at The Granary was perfect. We were moving out of our house and it was so lovely to have such a cosy sanctuary to go back to at the end of busy days. Stephen was so welcoming and helpful. We could not have asked for more. Everything you need is provided. The kitchen is well equipped, the sofas comfortable and the wood burner is fabulous. The bed was comfortable with lovely linen. The Granary is at the end of a long and pretty bumpy lane, and the first time it is a little daunting, but we soon got used to it and looked forward to the views opening out when we got to the property. Stephen was kind enough to let us walk our dogs in his fields, so they loved it too! When we need to stay in Cheltenham again, the Granary would be our first choice. Thank you Stephen.

We have had a wonderful stay at the Granary. Stephen is a very friendly host, the house is spacious and very comfortable and the location is perfect for exploring the Cotswolds and all its walks. If you are looking for a quiet stay, but not far away from a few big cities, this is the place to be.

We were welcomed by our host, who was friendly and informative. The house was of a good size and had comfortable sofas and beds. A nice log burner kept us warm and cosy. There was also a large area in which to walk our dogs as well as a small self-contained garden. Just perfect!

We loved our stay at The Granary; Stephen is a true gentleman who welcomed us into his property and put up Christmas decorations for us! It felt really homely and the location is beautiful. Stephen was only next door if we needed anything and was happy to provide local advice, it was great meeting him.
The Granary has plenty of room and has so many original features and a great deal of care has gone into the property.

We will be back.

We had a lovely weekend, customer service was excellent- log burner lit for our arrival so warm and cosy. Beautiful location and great for exploring the local area. We would definitely stay again.

Granary Cottage was absolutely beautiful and even more spacious than shown. It was immaculate, very well equipped and the owner Stephen was so very friendly, welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. The views from the bedrooms were fabulous and the countryside location was spectacular. A truly fabulous holiday in a perfect cottage and really accommodating for our two labradors so that we could relax and enjoy them

Stayed here with my wife and two young children. Wonderful hosts who took the time to make us feel at home. The property was larger than expected and well equiped. Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Highly reccomended.

Stephen and Jessica are very welcoming hosts. The cottage is very comfortable and located in the middle of fields with many lovely walks to do in the area. We had a great family stay!

Welcoming owners just next door showed us where everything was and the best places to dog walk, including a large field on the farm so secure.

The property was beautifully decorated for Christmas and they even lent us their rolling pin so we could make our annual gingerbread house!

Beautiful wood burner in the lounge, with a giant TV for those festive season films.

Useful utility room for muddy boots and storage. Kitchen small but everything you need for a holiday.

The Granary, provided a clean, well located base for a Cotswold getaway. Plenty of space and good parking. The Owner is extremely hospitable. However, we felt the cottage was overpriced in comparison to others we’ve staid in.

A few flies around windows on arrival which I hate. No milk shower gel or shampoo as mentioned in booking. Grill in oven dirty. Not sure what the £70 cleaning fee is all about as cobwebs around still and windows need a good cleaning apart from that a nice stay with comfortable bed

A lovely place to stay if you want rest and relaxation. The Cotswolds in general are closely available and lots of walking in the area. The granary is a lovely old place full of character. Two excellent local pubs who serve food and welcome dogs.

Brilliant value for money. So simple to book and the nice touch of owners contacting prior to arrival was nice.
Great location for visiting the Cotswolds. I know the cottage is in a farm but driveway could do with a little TLC but other than that cannot fault the property.
