You will be surprised when you step into Otley House and see the traditional Victorian hallway opening out into the bright and spacious kitchen and garden beyond. Spread over three floors the house has been elegantly updated with hints of velvet and gold making it a stylish getaway in this popular Regency town. Dine in the large garden or cuddle up in front of the wood burner, this is a delightful home from home. The wonders of the Regency town of Cheltenham Spa are easily reached where you can revel at a festival, relax in the parks, enjoy fantastic shopping in the array of boutiques, or enjoy dinner at one of the many fabulous restaurants followed by a show at the theatre.

Had a fabulous stay with friends. Great location, spacious, very comfortable, all mod cons, beautiful large garden. Lovely restaurants and pubs within walkable distance. Would definitely recommend.

We chose Otley House based on our specific requirements and it met the need. Parking was easy (at least for one car), beds were comfortable and kitchen very well equipped and comfortable as a sitting area, we loved the gas burning stove. The garden would be ideal if the weather was good enough to enjoy it.
In general, everything was perfectly clean and well maintained but the house had some problems. A cracked hand basin needs to be replaced, water pressure is variable upstairs, and there is little hanging space in bedrooms. There was a serious problem with rubbish collection, with no landfill bin and the bin shelter full of old bags of rubbish, This may reflect a failure of guests not reporting the problem and I hope that this will be dealt with now that the owners are aware of it..

A group of friends stayed at Otley house for the weekend in December, a great location if you want to visit Cheltenham, it's on a residential street with free parking for those who are coming with 3 or more cars (we all lived in different directions). The walk from the centre is about 35 minutes, and there are some lovely shops in Bath Road as well as pubs along the way.
The property had the necessary modern gadgets needed for your stay, ample size fridge/ freezer although there was an error message shown.
I appreciate it was December however we all felt the house was colder than thought even though we had put up the heating. We managed to get a small heater for the front room delivered by our host on the Saturday. There is a fire in the front room however we didn't have access to the wood storage for the fire or knew how to start it, I had asked but didn't receive an answer. There is a fire in the kitchen area but on Saturday night we preferred to be in the lounge.
I'm sure in the warmer months the house would be ideal, the garden is huge and has a lovely view.

Family of five with three young kids, we stayed for a week in August 2023 visiting family in Cheltenham. The property is well located, especially with kids as it's nearby a great little park and playing field with a great coffee shop. It's also close to Cheltenham town centre. Parking easy, check in and check out was all done via the lock box, so super convenient. Beautifully appointed house, with the most incredible garden. Highly recommended!
