Stayed here for 2 nights. Lovely little cottage which has everything you need for a short stay in the Cotswolds. The host was amazing, providing little extras and catering to extra requests where possible. The cottage itself is super cozy, clean and comfortable. Very close to all attractions in the Cotswolds as long as you are driving. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.

Sweetslade cottage was absolutely lovely it was clean and cosy with everything you might need
Sarah was an excellent host and we really appreciated the personal touches e.g flowers from her garden, treats etc
The location is central to all the lovely places in the Cotswolds which is really handy but you do get some traffic noise from the road behind the property (fine if you kept the windows closed)
We had a lovely week and we would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to explore the Cotswolds area.

Our recent stay at Sweetslade Cottage was nothing short of exceptional. Nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, lying equidistant between the charming towns of Bourton-on-the-Water and Northleach, this delightful cottage exceeded all our expectations.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our host Sarah, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Their hospitality was truly outstanding—they couldn’t do more for us, making us feel incredibly at home from the get-go.

The cottage itself was immaculate, with every detail carefully thought out. It truly felt like a 5-star hotel, but with all the comfort and charm of a traditional Cotswolds home. The interiors were beautifully decorated, blending modern comforts with classic countryside charm. The bed was incredibly comfortable and every area was spotlessly clean.

One of the highlights of our stay was being able to walk to the local pubs, where we enjoyed delicious meals and the warm, friendly atmosphere typical of this region. The surrounding countryside was breathtaking, offering picturesque walks on the Sabrina Way right from the doorstep.

In short, Sweetslade Cottage was everything we could have hoped for and more. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already planning our return. If you’re looking for a perfect Cotswolds getaway, this is the place to stay
