From your doorstep you can follow the Oxfordshire Way walking trail and explore popular Bourton-on-the Water. Returning to Wyck Cottage rest alongside the crackling open fire beneath wooden beams in this historic hideaway.

Our impression as soon as we walked in, and looked around was that it is a very lovely cottage. It's size belies the impression from the outside.
The lounge is very cosy, with a sofa and armchair which are both very comfortable. It is well lit with the lights on.
The dining room is a very handy distance between the lounge and the kitchen.
The main bedroom has a super large, spacious bed which I was happy to stay in when I awoke. So comfortable. The main bathroom is upstairs in the roof, accessed via a smaller staircase. The only point is that the roof closes down the room you have on the stairs so it's a little more difficult to access, but once you've done it a couple of times you can navigate it easily enough.
The other bedroom has two single beds which again are very comfortable and the en-suite toilet and shower was just right.
As a location it isn't far from Bourton-On-The-Water, which is a beautiful place to visit.
I loved it and would have no problem staying here again.

Also under the points of note section, we state "Wyck Cottage has a number of low beams and steep, narrow stairs, in particular up to the second floor en-suite, please mind your heads". Real original cottage in a beautiful Cotswold's village. Location is close to all major villages in the Cotswold's. Highly recommended.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Wyck Cottage in the Cotswolds. The cottage was beautiful, cosy, full of charm and set in a picturesque quaint village, it was the perfect blend of traditional character and modern comfort.
The location was ideal and close to everything you would want to explore in the Cotswolds from scenic walks to local pubs and shops.
Whether you are looking for a romantic break or a peaceful countryside break Wyck Cottage is a fantastic choice.
We will definitely be back soon.
