We stayed in this cottage for the entire month of December. It is centrally located in the Cotswolds, which makes it a great base for day trips. The cottage was clean and well equipped. We had a great day and would return if our travel takes us back to the area.

I feel it essential to warn those considering renting this cottage that access to the third floor bathroom is only manageable by the young & fittest of renters!! 3D video artistically avoids, stair to ceiling view & measurement, as it similarly avoids showing the minute corner basin in the second toilet; this space is poorly lit & does not have a shaving point! Do remember to bring hand towels for the 4 hol-residents as only one is left by each toilet. No downstairs Loo! Beds are comfy. Logs are only for initial fire lighting; we've been told "..logs are provided for the initial fire only.."! Cooking utensils okayish but only one frypan 30cms! Do check drawers in the kitchen for the 1 spare dustbin bag, a couple of spare tea towels, No laundry powder/ fluid, Finally lighting is very poor in the living room & only one small spot light in each of the bedrooms with side lights on each side of he bed. Single arm chair & 1 settee & pouffee for 'comfortable' sitting & a small, oldish TV for general viewing. WiFi is good/adequate, as is TV reception. Garden table & 4 chairs are fragile & old. Very disappointed with our stay; we expected much better standard considering price!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are naturally disappointed to read your comments, as they do not reflect the experience we strive to provide or the feedback we typically receive for Wyck Cottage. The property listing clearly states that Wyck Cottage features low beams and steep, narrow stairs, particularly leading to the second-floor en-suite. These details are highlighted to help guests assess suitability before booking. The size and layout of the en-suite basin and bathrooms are also accurately represented in the listing photos, and the 3D tour provided. We can also confirm that the cottage is supplied with logs for the initial fire only, as stated in the listing, and hand towels are provided per bathroom.

Our impression as soon as we walked in, and looked around was that it is a very lovely cottage. It's size belies the impression from the outside.
The lounge is very cosy, with a sofa and armchair which are both very comfortable. It is well lit with the lights on.
The dining room is a very handy distance between the lounge and the kitchen.
The main bedroom has a super large, spacious bed which I was happy to stay in when I awoke. So comfortable. The main bathroom is upstairs in the roof, accessed via a smaller staircase. The only point is that the roof closes down the room you have on the stairs so it's a little more difficult to access, but once you've done it a couple of times you can navigate it easily enough.
The other bedroom has two single beds which again are very comfortable and the en-suite toilet and shower was just right.
As a location it isn't far from Bourton-On-The-Water, which is a beautiful place to visit.
I loved it and would have no problem staying here again.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Wyck Cottage in the Cotswolds. The cottage was beautiful, cosy, full of charm and set in a picturesque quaint village, it was the perfect blend of traditional character and modern comfort.
The location was ideal and close to everything you would want to explore in the Cotswolds from scenic walks to local pubs and shops.
Whether you are looking for a romantic break or a peaceful countryside break Wyck Cottage is a fantastic choice.
We will definitely be back soon.
