Newly built and perfectly located near Kalkan’s Old Town, these three contemporary two-bedroom apartments share a large pool and landscaped gardens.

No 1 - a stylish two-bedroom apartment featuring a spacious open-plan living area, a high-spec modern kitchen, and calming, neutral-toned bedrooms with private terraces.

We rented two apartments, the ground floor and the roof terrace, this will cover both apartments. Firstly, these apartments are in an excellent position and have great potential but unfortunately they were a bit run down and we found the owners unwilling to help on some of these issues.

The bathrooms needed a bit of updating, in one of the them the towel holder had been removed and just left with holes in the walls. There was no storage space in most of the bathrooms. There was also not enough plug sockets, the rep did provide us with extension leads - the owners refused to do this. One of the apartments had three lamps were held together with Sellotape, which were replaced (well they gave two slightly less damaged ones). A big bug bear was that there were no top sheets on any of the beds. We asked for them but were told no! They did have them as the bottom sheets were all flat sheets so not sure what the problem was but the traditional Turkish blanket (sort of cotton waffle blanket was a bit scratchy and uncomfortable!). It's a small thing but would have made so much difference. The roof top pool was also leaking.

In spite of these issues, I wouldn't say don't book. They were lovely and clean, there were some basic supplies (washing up liquid, soap in the bathrooms and dishwasher tabs) that were really helpful. They are situated in one of the best locations I've ever stayed in Kalkan and with some minor updating they would be really top class accommodation. We were disappointed but I hope they do make those changes so that others can enjoy the apartments.
