Absolutely excellent accommodation, Omer and his wife were there to greet us, provided us with valuable information.
Generous welcome pack much appreciated.
Accommodation was spotlessly clean, one of the nicest accommodation we have stayed in.
Central to all amenities,
Highly recommend this accommodation good value for money would definitely stay again.

This two-bedroom villa is located in the heart of Kalkan's old town, just a short, steep downhill walk to 'Greek Street' with its bougainvillea-strewn buildings, restaurants and bars, and a level walk to more bars (Moonlight is our favourite). Following the pedestrianised slopes down to the harbour, in a few more minutes you are amongst all of the old town's shops, bars (Cafe del Mar another favourite here) and restaurants. It is barely ten minutes' walk to the public beach. The villa itself is a converted town house, but the finish is modern, stylish and of high quality. The two bedrooms are compact but with plenty of storage space and small shower rooms/WC en suite. Each has a balcony with views of the sea over the rooftops. On the landing between the two bedrooms is two-person jacuzzi bath, and a small sauna (but as the outdoor temperature was in the upper 20s/low 30s, we didn't use them during our stay). The kitchen has modern fitted units and a large fridge/freezer, although it's a bit snug for more than two people to cook/prepare food at a time. The open plan lounge/indoor dining area is also very modern and stylish, with plenty of room for four. Outside, the terrace gets the sun from around 8.30-9am (October) until about 5.30-6pm. The pool is just right for cooling off, although there's no shallow end, so not suitable for non-swimmers. Given its location, we were very pleasantly surprised at the peace and quiet although most of the nearby villas/apartments were unoccupied, but the bars and restaurants in town with music playing rarely intruded day or night. Omer, the owner, was very helpful and friendly, and came immediately to replace a balcony lightbulb, and asked if he could come round to turn on the electric water heating on the day we had a storm, and the solar heating was likely to fail. We had a lovely, relaxing time and it was great to be so close to everything. We would certainly book again.

All the privacy and peace from a villa with an almost High Street location.

Having never been to Kalkan before I decided to use Olive Tree Travel to book my stay. Their insider knowledge and additional help was invaluable when over coming language barriers. The villa has the perfect position. Its very hot and very hilly in Kalkan. The walk to the beach was short, but the 10 minute walk back up the hill can be challenging. Quite a few people I had met had chosen villas further away, assuming they could walk it and always ended up having to organise taxi's.

Villa Gul owner was excellent at communicating, and on hand, but not obtrusive. Inside had an excellent finish, very comfortable beds, aircon in every room, and good showers in both ensuites. The kitchen had everything, a lovely sitting room, not that we ever used it. The outside terrace, despite being so close to the main Old Town, was surprisingly quiet. A small pool, but perfect for cooling off whilst sunbathing.
