We have just returned from a lovely stay at Villa Shiva. The location, about ten minutes walk from passport pizza on the main road down to the centre, was very convenient. Kalkan is on a hill and definitely not for those with mobility issues. The villa was clean and modern. Facilities included.. dishwasher, washer, microwave and full fridge freezer. But skinny on the glass ware but I presume these get broken and aren’t always replaced. The apartment was on two floors. Bedrooms downstairs with air con. But even in full summer heat these rooms felt cool and air con not needed all the time. Upstairs the lounge/ kitchen opened directly to nice private pool with table chairs etc.. great for those who can’t stand the heat but still want to feel part of the action as it were.. Two things though.. both bathrooms have no window,, relying on a switch on vent.. quite a bit of black mould started to build up on the walls.. secondly the stairs felt quite steep and whilst modern I felt I would’ve been on pins all holiday with little ones or even older people. All in all though, a good apartment, location and reasonable cost compared to a lot of places in Kalkan.

Great apartment in a very convenient location to Kalkan's old town (the main area of shops and restaurants). Probably one of the small number of apartments/villa's where you don't need a taxi back up the hills!

Apartment itself was very nice, very clean and modern. Pool was a good size and received sun from the early morning until about 5pm (August - may change with season).

We arrived to a fresh hamper of biscuits, bread, jam, milk, orange juice which was a nice touch.

All in all, great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Shiva Apartment, it was spotless and Olive Tree Travel done us proud lots of information was extremely helpful, i loved the apartment it was really modern and had everything that we required. we have a fantastic holiday and loved Kalkan

6th time in kalkan, fantastic as always. Shiva apartment was immaculate, beautifully presented and just as pictured on the website! It’s also in a great location. Our only slight disappointment, was the outlook from the apartment, which was rather scruffy disused land. Other than that it was fabulous!

This apartment is well fitted out in quiet residential area in Kalkan, which we know very well. It is very clean, although the cleaners do out too emphasis on decorating the beds with bougainvillea every time the sporty is cleaned, surely once is enough!.Everything worked very well in the apartment, but we did have problems with a water pump which gave us 3/4 sleepless nights, take earplugs,because if the pump does play up due to water problems you will not sleep. Incidentally the advertised outdoor fridge does not exist.
