We had a wonderful week at Stormchase. This really is a special house. The views of the ocean and over towards Portsmouth are amazing. The house is very comfortable and everything is to the highest standard. Our children loved being on the beach, the trampoline and the skate ramp. We will be back!
We loved our stay at Sandpipers and it was so comfortable that everyone had a good time. The beach is a short walk but the pool was so warm and inviting that we spent most of our time in the garden and enjoying all that the house has to offer.
Second time staying in this property. It’s a great location and a very comfortable and social house. We love it.
My husband and I loved our stay at Sunny View and would certainly have no hesitation in staying there again. Its proximity to the sea and beach was ideal and my husband loved his morning runs on the beach (when the tide was out of course!). We are familiar with the Witterings and Bracklesham Bay and there are plenty of walks to taken in the area. East Wittering also has a great selection of shops, restaurants and pubs. The only recommendation we would give to the owners, is to install some simple blinds on the lounge and kitchen windows and door as the sun shines directly into the apartment...more
Pinellas point is situated perfectly between Bracklesham and East Wittering and only a stones throw from the beach. It offered everything you needed for a perfect holiday. Jacqueline couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. The property is modern and well equipped with a lovely sun trap garden. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back.
What an incredible property with amazing sea views. We had a fantastic stay at The Waterfront, it was both spacious and cosy. We particularly enjoyed watching the waves from the comfort of the sofa. Looking forward to coming back again one day.
Fabulous location with great views and outdoor space and good indoor layout. Equipped with everything you could need. We were blessed with mostly good weather which was an added bonus. Dined at the Beach which we’d recommend and were made to feel very welcome at the Pond which is a hidden away local pub.
Large garden, bright reception room, well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds and quality linens. Works very well for family and dogs, would come again.
Very pleased with overall stay. Only issue was the standard size beds, pillows soft and duvet very flimsy and did not stay in place.
We returned to Rox, on the beach of West Wittering, excited to see if our past wonderful stays there would be repeated, or? In fact, it was even better, which seemed hardly possible. The large deck, overlooking the sea, easily accommodated a family lunch for 16. The ground floor of the house seemed larger and even better equipped (a stunning new scrabble set was much used!). Walks to East Head were essential recovery magnets (from the lazy hours watching the tides ebb and flow, with book in hand). The massive TV/ media room was fun (but we imagined that it would be used more in the winter...more
Rosemary Cottage is the perfect seaside escape. In a quiet and very beautiful part of West Sussex. We had a brilliant week. (Third stay for us, and we have already rebooked for next year.) Close to the beach with several picturesque routes to show the area off in all its beauty. However what really stood out was the excellent customer service of Wellies & Windbreaks. Sometimes any questions are referred to a “Bot” .. but that’s not for the team at W&W.. Thank you so much Angela and Amanda for looking after your guests so well. Highly recommend this very professional company.
Beautiful place with all the amenities you could need and maintained well. Nicely decorated and a nice warm feel making it so comfortable to spend time in. Great location with just a short walk to the beach. Highly recommend and will love to come back!
We were a group of seven adults from two families and this property worked well for us. The kitchen was very well equipped and there was plenty of space for us all, whether we wanted to be together, or to do our own thing. One of our group was working remotely for a couple of days, so it was great for them to have a completely separate room to use with a desk and computer monitor. The property is well located - close to the village shop and pub, with a nice walk to the beach.
We had a wonderful relaxing break having the beach and sea view made to experience so special . The house was very clean and had everything you needed well worth booking .
Unrivalled sea view from every window, comfortable beds, high quality bed linen, pillows could be softer, excellent bathroom fittings, quality kitchen appliances but coffee machine was not working and no alternative available. This was our 5th stay at Seascape and it remains a wonderful property for a traditional seaside holiday
I absolutely loved my stay at Stargazer! The most beautiful, luxurious, comfortable, breathtaking home, right on the beach. I could have just stayed in the stunning kitchen diner for my stay, but I loved the sun-beds on the balcony which gets the sun all day & into the evening (amazing sunsets) and what a view watching sailing, paddle boarding, canoeing, wind/kite surfers & swimmers, boats/cruisers on the horizon and super view of the IOW - spent much time walking, on the beach & swimming, walked the short walk to Wittering for breakfast in a super cafe (and a super sandy beach), ordered lovel...more
Beautiful house in the middle of the village. Wonderful enclosed gardens with direct access to the shops and only a short walk to the beach. Angela and Amanda are always available for any questions and queries and their online app makes it all easy to find and get around. The house is homely, has a beautiful kitchen and living area. Highly recommend enjoying your stay from here.
Seamark was a perfect venue for a birthday celebration with family & friends. Super accommodation, well furnished, comfortable beds & the bathrooms were excellent. The house was well equipped & within walking distance to the beach & East Wittering. The property had a great rooftop which would be lovely on a warm sunny day! All in all we would throughly recommend this house & wouldn’t hesitate to book it again.
We have just spent a wonderful week at Anchor (2nd year running), fantastic accommodation and in a great location close to the beach. Walking distance from both East Wittering & Bracklesham we love walking along the beach for a morning coffee. Anchor has everything you need as a family of 5 it suits all our needs. We can't wait to book again.
We've stayed in Bracklesham Bay previously, but this was the first time staying in By the Beach. The apartment is bright, spacious, with sea views and has everything you need. The only criticism I have is the mattress was too firm for me. We would stay again and hopefully it would be warm enough to sit out on the beach.
A return visit to Dots, again a lovely house. We had a wonderful week, despite several days of wild winds and waves, and some exhilarating swims! The table tennis table provided two afternoons of laughter and fun. The kitchen is well-equipped for feeding a large group. We also discovered the Kneads bakery - amazing bead and pastries. The best bit - the location right on the beach and the fantastic view. Next break here already booked!
This spot is excellent. Comfortable setting and so close to the beach and the shops. The refurbishment has gone so well to bring out the best in this house, and we loved our trip.
We enjoyed our stay at Beira Mar a lot. However we felt it was a little tired compared to Lubber. The house was very warm in the three back bedrooms? Veluxs would not open. Sheets old, garden chairs worn badly ,A small table for outside with a couple of loungers so one could sit different places in the garden. Gate broken dog got out ! All in all we would book it again.
I am reluctant to give this property too good a review because we “want to keep it to ourselves”. But that would be selfish so here goes. For the 5th time, I think, we have just returned from a 2 week stay and come back home totally refreshed and with the most amazing memories. As i say in the title, this was more Sandals and Sunshades than Wellies &Windbreaks. Even the weather played ball and we had wall to wall sunshine, a few little cheeky showers but mainly sun, sun and more sun. The house is so comfortable for our configuration of people, 3 generations wanting to have an easy and relaxed ...more
We had an excellent time at Wickham. The views are superb. What’s not to like, sitting in the porch with a glass of something red, people watching and watching the evening sun slide down behind the Isle of Wight. Marvellous. The accommodation is extremely well appointed. We are hoping to be back in 2026.
We loved our stay here. Open plan living layout was lovely & spacious. Super clean and light. Very close to the shingle beach and handy shops/cafes only 10-12 minutes away. Only slight annoyance was the blinds in bedrooms which don’t keep out the light and flap about if you want to keep windows open at night!
Had a wonderful fortnight in this lovely, cosy cottage, so close to everything we loved ... the beach; the coastal path; a great pub! (Shore Inn) and all shops and amenities within easy walking distance. The location made it all effortless and we scarcely used our car. The downstairs bathroom was a small disadvantage (my husband has poor balance and found night-time 'visits' a little worrying) ... but it wasn't a big issue. One tiny thing; please provide a tray! - makes the to-and-fro easier when setting the table and taking morning tea upstairs. All in all its a super rental. We'd c...more
Samphire is very attractive and well stocked with a stunning outlook . We would recommend: outside cushions for balcony and patio chairs and for dining chairs., a shaving point and /or adaptor, a big teapot, a shower caddy and another mat for wet rooms , more hooks, a mat for french windows into bedroom downstairs (and some sink plugs were slow to drain )
We thoroughly enjoyed our stayed at Beachcomber. The property is spacious and perfectly located to access the village of East Wittering and the beach. Both Angela and Amanda were extremely helpful and accommodating. We will certainly return.
We had the pleasure of staying at Spray Cabin, WoW! What an amazing house set right on the beach with fantastic sea views. Being as we say, halfway situated for walking to Shore Road - Bracklesham - west Wittering it’s perfect for either beach walk or sand dunes walk. We’ve stayed at many properties through welliesandwindbreaks, Amanda suggested this one which is now our favourite! Felt like home from home the minute we walked in. Very spacious. Kitchen, bathroom’s, Living area (both upstairs and downstairs) just perfect for us and our 2 very well behaved dogs. Parked the car on gated driveway...more
This was our second stay at Cirrus. It’s a lovely property just around the corner from the beach - and a ten minute walk from the shops. We’d happily recommend it to others.
East Wittering is a safe and clean place to stay with lots to see and do close by. The property was comfortable, reasonably well-equipped and well located with good sea views. The downstairs bedroom is a little dark with a small window, but the other two rooms are upstairs and airy.
Really enjoy this property. Short 4 day break, home for a week and then back for a fortnight...can't wait! It's an old railway carriage that's been converted, very quirky..can be a bit difficult to navigate if your tall, banged my head 8 times this trip . Worth it though
I rented The Little House on a long term basis. The property is well equipped and the location perfect for anyone wishing to sail, especially if attending Itchenor Sailing Club. The swimming pool was a great addition. The landlords were always responsive as and when needed. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a short or long term rental.
We lived our time at Fleetwood which had every facility you could imagine. Beautiful views out to sea, fabulous furnishings and equipment. It was so relaxing to be in such airy and spacious accommodation. Truly a wonderful place in which to relax and enjoy ourselves.
Thanks to Amanda & Angela for facilitating our last minute booking for Sherkin - a deceptively large house! Clear information on all aspects of the stay was shared up front and the house was perfect for a family of 4 (+ dog) but can easily accommodate more with the extra beds & futons. Even though the property is on a road to the beach, with multiple cafes/shops, there is no noise at all - even on the Bank Holiday weekend - allowing for a peaceful stay. The garden/deck was a bonus. I'd agree with the other reviews that off road parking would be tricky for anything other than 1 large car or 2 s...more
Overall the property was ok. But we kept finding small issues, such as dirty plates, glasses, oven tray's, food left in the freezer from I presume previous users, sink plug in en-suite didn't work, the garden was not kept nice, overgrown grass/hedges, generally dirty inside and out, cobwebs etc. The barbecue tray was not clean so we didn't use the barbecue while we were their. It didn't seem not all the jets were working in the hot tub (could be our mistake though not a hot tub expert). The automatic lawn mower going in the middle of the night keeping the downstairs bedroom user awake. We were...more
