We were four adults and two dogs staying for a family break. The cottage is warm, spacious and comfortable. We had everything that we needed to enjoy relaxing and cooking meals together. The garden is wonderful for dogs, with a lawned area which leads to a lovely ‘wilder’ area with long grasses and trees where the dogs could explore. The garden is surrounded with post and rail fencing, so secure. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

This was a hi-tec cottage delivering all you could need bar the weather! The owners have thought of everything and the specification of all the equipment of a very high standard. They all worked too even if it took the seniors time to master them.Only challenge manouvering the entrance to the parking at the back of the cottage.The roomy dining and lounge afeas allowed all our family to gather for meals in the evening which really made the holiday.

Myself and my young family, (including our dog) had a great time at Old Powdermill Cottage and there was absolutely everything in the property that we could possibly have wanted!

It was very clean and well laid out and it proved itself as a great place to base ourselves during our west-coast Scottish adventures.

Hopefully we will be back again soon!!!
