I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sebright Holiday Apartment despite some very inclement weather for August!
The ground floor apartment was very spacious with lovely sea views and an excellent location for touring.
I enjoyed the outdoor seating area at the front of the property & I was really pleased that we got to check in slightly earlier than 4pm as we'd arrived in Dunoon ahead of schedule.
The kitchen has everything you'd need as I did a lot of cooking.
I'm looking forward to going back next June all being well.

We had a lovely few days staying at Sebright holiday home with our furry friend house felt like home from home ,we had everything we needed .
Complimentary bottle of wine,chocolates & biscuits was much appreciated, close to shops & town centre & exploring Dunoon.
Beds super comfy.
Would highly recommend, we hope to visit again in the future.

The WI-FI was non existent The housekeeper reset the router THREE times during our stay and it stayed connected for only a couple of hours.You need to sort it out and put a router in the flat and not in the flat above which is unoccupied and locked.We are coming back in July by which time I expect it to be sorted.Apart from that the flat and view was fantastic

We are very sorry the WI-Fi was faulty during your stay. After being notified we contacted our provider and they arrived the day after you left and re-wired the telephone line from outside into a new junction box in the house. We are back up and running with full Wi-Fi functionality. We will make it up to you on your next visit.

Spacious, spotlessly clean, ideally located, off-road parking for 2 cars. and with the benefit of 3 ensuite bathrooms. Maintenance dealt with a minor problem with a window lock within 5 minutes of calling them.

House appears to have been freshened up since we visited 3 years ago but unable to open most windows. No empty units in the kitchen for storing provisions but helpful second fridge. Good central location. Clean and comfortable. Helpful interaction with owner. 3 en-suite bedrooms made this ideal for our needs.
Great base for a holiday to explore some lovely sights and places.

Spent 2 weeks here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Perfect for 3 couples due to each room having its own bathroom. Lovely big rooms with high ceilings. Beautiful view across the Firth of Clyde, especially on a sunny day.
The accommodation was very well equipped. The kitchen has everything you could want and more.
Bed linen is changed as and when you request it and the housekeeper responds very quickly.
There were a couple of problems we noticed when we arrived .... the front door was damaged and the bathroom door to the twin room ensuite did not close, which was a privacy issue. These were reported to the owner/housekeeper. However, this did not detract from our enjoyment of staying here.
Recommend visits to Benmore Botanical Gardens, Lock Eck, Puck's Glen, Loch Lomond and Isle of Bute.
We had lovely meals at The Lorne in Dunoon and The Coylet Inn by Lock Eck. The Boatshed Cafe, Lochgoilhead, is also well worth a visit.
The scenery in and around this area is quite simply stunning every which way you turn! We had a great holiday here and would love to return sometime.

Just home from a 4 night stay at Sebright and all rested and relaxed . Location was ideal for eating , drinking and wandering . Loads of space in the property and beds were so comfy . Only used two if the 3 rooms . Back double room was silent and provided a restful sleep . Sat out front every day watching the world go by . Everything you need for a home from home . Did all our washing before leaving and hung out back on the clothes dryer . A perfect stay . Thank you for everything

Our family had a really great time staying at Sebright. The house is so comfortable and has a fantastic central location. The owners were extremely thoughtful in the way they had furnished the house, so that it felt like a real home from home, and we settled in straight away. We were also touched by the very kind ‘welcome pack’ left for us. There was ample parking for two cars, but it was lovely to be able to leave them most of the time as the beaches and the town, pool, castle gardens etc were all in easy walking distance. We were very sad to leave Sebright at the end of the week, as we’d had such a lovely time there.

Spacious apartment on one level for a large family. Location perfect for local amenities. Twin bedroom had no TV and one of its mattresses could do with replacement. There were several TV remote controls which did not work and not sure what they were for! Main smart TV gave access to Netflix etc which was good to have. Quick response from owners to sort WiFi issue. Other places have provided more towels for a big family staying for almost 2 weeks and there was no tumble driver so this was a little disappointing. This did not detract from the holiday however.
Stunning views of cruise ships from the front lounge. Lovely holiday enjoyed by all and the children enjoyed playing in the enclosed garden.

This house is located close to town buses and ferries
Walking distance to supermarket restaurants and bars
Really enjoyed my morning coffee at the table watching the ferries,freighters and cruise ships going up and down the Clyde

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this spacious, comfortable apartment. Lovely views across the Firth of Clyde, but within a few minutes walk of shops and services. Appreciated the off-road parking despite its central location. Beds were comfortable and a touch of luxury that each bedroom had their own ensuite shower room. Very comfortable lounge for evenings in front of the large Smart TV. Apartment was well-heated and a lovely home from home. Only slight problem was difficulty in using the main oven as all the temperature markings have been rubbed off and you had to guess what temperature you were setting it at! Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The accommodation was comfortable especially the lounge, however all the beds need new mattresses they were really uncomfortable. The plumbing in the family bedroom bathroom was awful when the water was run in the sink it came up into the bathtub, not nice. In the kitchen the water was very slow in running away and made dreadful noises. The double bedroom at the back had NOT been cleaned the glass side table was filthy and sticky with ring marks, the unit, windowsill and shelf were all thick with dust and the floor had not been swept there were bits of paper and clothes tags on the floor. This was not nice at all. There was a smell of damp and mould in the twin bedroom bathroom.
In general the whole place needed a bit of care and attention including the gardens.

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. The winter, this year, has taken its toll on the building and garden. We had water/snow ingress and leaf blockage which have now been fixed with the back bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms redecorated.
We have never had a complaint regarding the mattresses but will investigate and if they need replacing we will do so.
Regarding the cleanliness I am shocked at your comments and will be meeting the housekeeping company for an explanation and promises the cleaning standard will be guaranteed throughout the house. It sounds like one full bedroom was missed during the turnover process. Very disappointing.
I will be writing personally to the client to apologise our standards have not been retained and ask how we can resolve her complaint.

The ground floor flat was in a prime location right on the esplanade in Dunoon with stunning views across the water .
It was also just around the corner from Morrisons Supermarket and the main street.

this is our third time staying at Sebright. We love the location - it's close to everything in Dunoon and it's cosy and comfy. It's wonderful to have 3 en suite rooms so nobody is fighting for a shower! The beds are comfy and the kitchen is well equipped. The heating makes it lovely and toasty for a November stay. The owner even brought us a complimentary bottle of wine - lovely friendly touches!

Spacious apartment, clean and comfortable. Good position for the town centre and all the pubs and restaurants. Everyone we met were friendly and helpful. My friends and I were on a biking holiday and it was in a good position to discover Argyle. We hope to return one day.

Very nice apartment with good facilities. Plenty of parking and good views of the Clyde. Close to the local shops and supermarket. The garden at the back is a real sun trap when the sun decides to shine.

My stay at the seabright apartment was excellent it has everything you need for your holiday, as for the location you could not get any better right on the seafront with stunning views, garden at the back of this property with the patio was nice and relaxing after the long walks with my dog, my only problem was having to leave though hopefully I will be back at some point

great location and ideal for elderly parent with some mobility issues. very close to shops, promenade and easy to park out front or has driveway space. Nice to have seating furniture out front and at back if weather nice. Shower in twin room works but the fitment at head is broken and needs attention as you have to keep adjusting it when you're showering. Also the kitchen bin lid was broken and there was no hand soap in any of the bathrooms which is not something I would not expect to have to take with me or go out and buy for a short break.
All in all would consider staying here again.

Thank you for taking the time to write your review and bringing to our attention maintenance/housekeeping issues. I wish you could have contacted us when in the apartment and these issues would have been rectified straight away. The apartment has been continually in use since Easter and the shower fitment and bin lid had not been reported broken. Saying that housekeeping should have reported this and made sure there was hand soap in the bathrooms. We supply hand soap, dish washer tablets, black bags etc. with every booking. I will make sure this does not happen gain.
I hope this did not detract from your stay and we would love for you to return in the future.

Truly a home from home. Stayed for 5 nights over new year and arrived to a nice warm house with xmas tree in living room and chocolates and wine, lovely touch. House was roomy enough for 2 families and had all the facilities we needed. Location was perfect 2 minute walk from Morrisons supermarket and 5 mins from town centre and ferry terminal.

We had a great weekend stay at sebright for a family birthday celebration. Location is great and Iain was very accommodating with access time and local recommendations. Apartment itself is very nice with great sea views and 3 ensuites is definitely a bonus. Would definitely use again!
