I spent a full week at the Weatheroak Studio Annex while I explored the Cowal Peninsula by bus. The studio flat is small but perfect for a single person or a couple - it has everything you need for your stay: a TV and two armchairs, a small kitchenette, a comfortable double bed and a good shower in the en suite plus the use of the back garden of the main house - a big plus in sunny weather. The annex is tucked away in a very peaceful location down a lane off a side street in Dunoon - the town centre, bus stops and Bishop's Glen are all within an easy walking distance. The owner was very welcoming and checked to make sure I was okay as she was away visiting family for much of the week that I stayed. I enjoyed my stay at the annex and would definitely stay there again if returning to Dunoon so I'm happy to recommend this holiday accommodation to others looking for reasonably priced self-catering accommodation in Dunoon.

Bring some warm clothing.
Heat is run a couple hours in the morning and a couple at night.
The landlord was friendly.

This is a very well equipped and cosy studio annex. You have your own entrance and hallway, good parking and it is an easy walk in to town if you wish.
I would highly recommend this accommodation and here’s why:
The accommodation is lovely and was very clean. The chairs are very comfortable. The bed is amazingly comfortable. The shower has good power and the water is warm. The heating was thoughtfully programmed and I found it just right.
Rosemary is a really nice host: very helpful, on hand if you need her and offers information about what is going on in the town during your visit.
This is a lovely space for a single person or a couple. I will definitely be back to stay here.
