Wixey House is a 250 year old Grade II listed Georgian style home. It is situated in the residential area of the High Street, fronted by a parking area and wide grass verge with water pump.

The property has been renovated to a high standard and is now a beautiful holiday home with high quality furniture and soft furnishings, that can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests.

Wixey House provides a perfect base for a relaxing holiday and from which to tour the Cotswolds. Chipping Campden is a traditional wool market town with beautiful buildings and wonderful shops and many excellent cafes and restaurants.

Beautiful old house on the High Street close to all amenities. We were there for our son’s wedding at Mickleton Hills Farm and it was only 5 minutes away so was perfect. The house had everything we needed and was very comfy

Wixey House is well placed in the village to enjoy a stroll around the shops, cafes and pubs. Although located near a busy junction to the high street there is ample free parking enabling you to leave the car safely and enjoy the surroundings.
Wixey House is a traditional Cotswold town house with many charming features and several challenges. Rooms are adequate while the heating suffers on the top floor (large bedroom and bathroom) as the cast iron radiator is too small during cold weather and the house is single glazed. WiFi is good. The siting room would benefit from a new settee. Dining area is fine. We only used the kitchen for a breakfast but it was well designed with the required appliances. Tea, coffee and milk were appreciated.

A beautiful Georgian town house located on the gorgeous high street (full of interesting characterful buildings) yet surrounded by lovely countryside.
Would book again but next years price is £500 more for a similar time of year sadly.
Shame that we had to sweep all of the courtyard which was littered with dead leaves including the picnic table ( which was full of cobwebs and leaves)it took quite a while to clean before we could use this area.
A few niggles: the beautiful windows need care when opening - very stiff.
Also 2 shower cubicles would be far more useful than 2 baths for a property for 6 as one bath is more than sufficient.
Plus the dining chairs are very uncomfortable and perhaps need upgrading or reupholstering.

However this property is still one of the best we’ve ever stayed in, well equipped and comfortable.
Thank you for our thoughtful welcome pack and for a wonderful stay.
Would definitely book again if the price had not gone up by £500.
