A cosy comfortable cottage ideally situated for exploring the villages and towns of the Cotswolds. Lovely little garden and the kitchen was very well provisioned. Would definitely recommend.
Our family gathered to celebrate a University graduation, staying 5 nights. Kissing Gate was a perfect place to relax and enjoy family dinners and games together after our days of sightseeing. It was incredibly peaceful sitting in the garden in the evening! Lots of nearby farmers markets, pubs and restaurants (Ebrington Arms offers a delicious Sunday dinner), shopping, and a lovely tea at Lygon Arms in Broadway. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, WiFi worked well, and the kitchen had all the equipment we needed to prepare meals after stocking up at Vegetable Matters, the local farm...more
Lovely cottage in the very heart of Chipping Campden, centrally located just off the High Street. Well equipped and comfortable. We had a great time, but it's worth being aware that the garden is next to the excellent Italian restaurant (we ate their lots), but that does mean when the restaurant is open the extractor fan/air conditioning unit for the restaurant kitchen is operating. We took our dogs and the cottage is well equipped for dogs with a dog gate at the bottom of the stairs and an enclosed garden, though dogs need to be supervised as there is shared access through the garde...more
A great stay at Thatch Cottage. The cottage had everything you need for a stay. The bed was comfortable with good quality sheets. The cottage was lovely and warm on arrival. A beautiful garden to enjoy in the spring sunshine. Great instructions. I would be keen to return. Thank you.
