When myself and my family arrived to Broad Campden after a very long journey, we literally felt like we were walking on air when we entered into the beautiful Garden cottage! Everything was pristine clean and every detail in this cottage is superb. Everything you need for a stay whether a weekend or longer is available to you. We stayed for a week and cooked in every night and sat out in the beautiful well kept garden. We even played croquet with a set that’s included! Beds are very comfortable! Since we were traveling for 3 weeks we had some laundry and there is a washer and dryer and ironing...more
We have used honeypot cottages for many years and have stayed at gem cottage for about 4 years now I think. It is always clean and comfortable and very well equipped. Andy and Sarah are also so lovely and helpful. We wouldn't use anyone else. Look forward to next year!
We had a fantastic stay, the property was like a hotel the cleanliness was the best that I have stayed in for a long time. Andy was on hand which was brilliant we will 100% use the company again. Thank you for a lovely stay we will be back
2nd time we have used this cottage but have booked others previously was a Great place great location had a good time
Clean, modern, comfortable and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Shame there was no parking attached.
We love this cottage...scrupulously clean, well appointed and its position in the village is great, just a short stroll to eateries and shops. This was our fourth stay in 7 years and the fact that it's dog friendly is a must for us - the walled cottage garden keeps our Houdini dog in check! All rooms are characterful, comfortable and well maintained. Highly recommend as a base in the beautiful Cotswolds
Beautiful accommodation , very clean, modern and comfortable. Lovely location and a very pretty village , also well located for other areas .
Number Six was very comfortable. Room enough for 3-4 people. Kitchen was outstanding. Bedrooms were big enough. Bathroom in good working condition. We would definitely rent again in the future!
My husband and I absolutely loved it here for our anniversary weekend. If you’re after somewhere within 2 mins of everything Chipping Camden has to offer then you won’t do better. It was so cosy and downstairs was very comfortable. The bedroom was less so with a metal framed bed and no room for bedside tables. The bathroom was great. No garden although a small sitting out area at the front which has access through for next door. Wouldn’t recommend for more than 2 adults. Also be aware the stairs are very steep.
Nice cottage in a good location. Garden is great too. Short walk to Chipping Camden and great walks from the doorstep. Honeypot were very good too.
A lovely homely cottage, a perfect place to explore the Cotswolds. Everything there that you need to be able to go about your day with ease.
A beautiful Georgian town house located on the gorgeous high street (full of interesting characterful buildings) yet surrounded by lovely countryside. Would book again but next years price is £500 more for a similar time of year sadly. Shame that we had to sweep all of the courtyard which was littered with dead leaves including the picnic table ( which was full of cobwebs and leaves)it took quite a while to clean before we could use this area. A few niggles: the beautiful windows need care when opening - very stiff. Also 2 shower cubicles would be far more useful than 2 baths for a proper...more
A lovely property and well presented, parking a little tight for two cars ,garden was beautiful to sit in and catch last rays of sunshine. First impressions was clean but disappointed to find opened and used jams left for us and strong smell of damp in the downstairs bedroom. The damp became an issue for us ,heating made it worse and windows opened meant car fumes coming in. We left a day earlier than our weeks stay because of this. The damp was mentioned to the manager and the jam not being replenished, an apology for the jams was given and and acknowledgement of the damp , as the managertol...more
We resently spend a week at the cottage. The purpose for the stay was a family wedding. The location was absolutely perfect. The cottage was well supplied (for a rental) and very spacious for our group. We loved the sunroom. A great spot to have breakfast, dinners or a nightcap. The cottage had a number of additional residents (spiders), normal for a country property. The neighbourhood was extremely quiet. We did find the outdoor table and chairs covered in pigeon dung. Also, several beer cans, and a make shift ashtray was also left by the previous guests. Not a big deal. The customer service...more
