We had a wonderful time at this beautiful apartment! It had everything we needed and was close to the town centre so we did not need to use our car - an absolute bonus! Having the parking permit, which gives free parking for the durtion of your stay is sooooo helfpful.

Absolutely loved this place, felt so luxurious and contemporary. Really calm space for me to do my work, so quiet and comfortable. Lovely that it was so close to the town centre but suprisingly quiet on a night. Would highly reccomend to friends and family, will return in the future.

Had a lovely couple of days in York. The location was great just 5 mins walk to the centre of York. The apartment was clean and very tastefully furnished and the bed was super comfy.

Received email advising of address & access code - check in @3pm. Code didn't work. We didn't have cell coverage to contact YBL
Returned at 5pm with new SIM - code incorrect. Called YBL- oh, sorry forgot to change code!
Settled in, tried to sign in for WiFi with information provided in brochure!, incorrect password. Called YBL - they emailed it to us. Same password as in brochure but with mixture of capitals & small case! I hope they corrected info for future visitors.
Coffee pods in kitchen were for a broken coffee maker in the drawer. Didn't know what kind of pods we needed to buy so had to make do with instant coffee that we had to buy.
No toiletries in bathroom for shower- another purchase. We had flown in with carry ons & hadn't expected to need them which we didn't need in our future rentals!
However, there was dish detergent so we could wash our dishes and utensils. It was a comfortable apartment & do recommend but we will check the wording of amenities more carefully, in future.

Booked this apartment for three day trip. Communication from York Boutique Lets was excellent with directions/access etc. Location was superb a short walk and in the heart of York, railway line other side of road, but you wouldn’t have known it! Bed was really comfortable, bathroom fine but cramped. Could do with some proper drawers in bedroom. Cleaning could be better, half bottles of milk/chocolate shake in fridge, hairs on mirror bedroom carpet needs cleaning and mature cobwebs. Would I stay again? Definitely on short trip

My husband & I needed a few days away and chose York as our destination. We found Bootham Luxury Apartments via Air B&B initially but then went direct to York Boutique Lets. The initial correspondence could have been a little friendlier and welcoming in tone, however it was not impolite and we decided to book direct.

Instructions on how to get into the apartment and where to park were clear and simple to follow, and once we arrived we found the apartment to be very nice. It was decorated in a modern but sympathetic way and made the most of the light and high ceilings, with everything you could need for a short stay.

We had 2 minor issues which I sent via WhatsApp and was replied to almost immediately with options to have them sorted, which is great customer service.

I have a couple of comments:
1. If towels are provided (which they are) I feel that 2 bath towels, one hand towel and 1 floor mat isn't really enough. Unfortunately one of our towels had a hole in it, however the hosts provided 2 additional towels when they came the next day to fix the other small issues we had.
2. The bedroom window does not stay open at all. Even though there is a fan (which is great) it was so hot during our stay that we really needed the fresh air.
3. If you were to have 4 people stay I don't feel the bathroom is large enough to cater for 2 couples. It is compact and does what it needs to, however the shower head could do with descaling and needs to be more powerful in general. There is also very little room around the toilet

However none of this should take away from the fact that the apartment is lovely and just what we needed!

This flat was in the perfect location, in a nice quiet street yet just a few minutes walk to the cathedral. It was clean and comfortable. The only issue for us was that the bathroom was very small.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the location is fantastic really just a 10 minute walk to the city walls. There is so much to do near by and was very quiet and peaceful area. Super comfy apartment, in an amazing location given its proximity to the historic centre of York.

The bed was the best in an airbnb that we've slept in, for comfort of mattress and pillows.

Compact but beautifully designed shower room.

The hosts have responded to previous guest reviews by putting a new rail with lots of hangers into an alcove in the bedroom so there is now somewhere to hang short items like shirts, jackets etc as well as the previous hangers on the wall for long coats and dresses.

The customer services leading up to the stay was good, the location ans style of the flat was very good but unfortunately I did feel very mislead about the flat itself. Id booked the accommodation for 3 adutls, and there are a couple of pictures of different bedrooms on the website, so I assumed there were 2 bedrooms. I also couldn't find anywhere that clearly said it was 1 bedroom and 1 sofa. If I had known this, I wouldn't of booked the accommodation so I do feel a bit let down by that. Great place for a couple to stay though, but not for 3.

Large one-bedroom apartment ideal for longer stays like ours (2 weeks). Perhaps needed a few more items (eg toilet paper) for people staying a longer time but, then again, we didn't ask for any more! Myself and my boyfriend had a great 2 night stay here. The apartment is a really great size and very comfortable. Has everything you need and has been tastefully decorated. It is in a great location and you can walk to the minster in under 10 minutes and into the city through the museum gardens which is lovely. The on street parking permit was brilliant. Would highly recommend to anyone visitng.

One suggestion is it could do with an outside light at front door as doorway in total darkness at night, making it difficult to see the door lock.

We really enjoyed our stay. Despite its central location on Bootham and near the train station, the property was quiet and peaceful. We had plenty of room and found the bed to be very comfortable. The apartment is fitted with everything you could possibly need, allowing you to cook or prepare a light bite if necessary. The walk into town is less than 10 minutes and it’s just around the corner from the train station. There are also plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants along the main road. Overall, we would thoroughly recommend staying here if you’re coming to York.

My second stay here - very cozy and comfy and short walk to the city center as well as the train station. Spacious living room allows you to work, and stretch out and quiet bedroom with a very comfortable bed. Large kitchen where you can cook is stocked with plenty of utensils and tea. A perfect home base.

This is a beautiful apartment within easy walking distance of York centre. We didn’t use the kitchen, apart from the kettle but it seemed to have everything you need. We had no issues during our stay. The sitting room, in particular has been decorated really well, with comfortable chairs and a useful expandable table.

This apartment is nicely styled, the lounge is lovely with its exposed brickwork and decorative features and it had a little dining table. The whole place is quite compact, shower room and bedroom are small but it’s what I expected and it was still plenty of space for what we needed from a weekend break. Location is great, there’s a nice beer garden at Churchill’s a stone’s throw away, York Minster is 5 minutes walk away. Parking was on street permit. I thought it was great value and will stay again sometime.

The apartment was very central (10 mins walk to the Minster) so the car stayed put outside with the very handy parking permit provided. Everything was spotlessly clean and the apartment was well equipped with crockery, glasses etc. All extremely comfortable, particularly the bed! We choose this apartment because it provided on street parking, so helpful in York. We also wanted somewhere close to the centre and to the National Railway Museum and this apartment is just 10 minutes walk from each. We’d stayed in a similar apartment in that area 10 years ago and knew how pleasant and convenient it was - there’s a bridge across the river that gets you close the the NRM, almost at the bottom of the road. The apartment was very stylish and comfortable with everything we needed, especially as we prefer to self-cater for dietary reasons. We really enjoyed our stay and would book again if we ever want another stay in York.

This appartment was a perfect size for me and my husband for a weekend away.
There was everything we needed at the appartment and the beds were super comfortable. there was also free on street parking if we needed to use a car, however we got a train to york so did not make use of this.
The appartment was left very clean and tidy for us which was a nice touch as the appartment is beautiful.

We had a great stay at bootham luxury appartment 2. The appartment is close to the city centre with free on street parking which we found really helpful as we travelled by car. The appartment was left very clean for us and we felt very comfotable during our stay. We had a few issues finding the appartment however the services were happy to help and explained it thoughrougly.
We are very happy we chose to stay at bootham luxury appartments and we will definitley be returning to this property.

The Apartment we stayed in was lovely. The location was brilliant, most of the places we wanted to visit were within a 10-15min walk. I loved the fact that I could park right outside the apartment using your permit. My only downside to the apartment was the sofa bed. It was so low down and uncomfortable, it was worse that just placing a mattress on the floor and sleeping on that. Its a shame because the rest of the apartment was lovely, the sofa bed let it down as we struggled to get a good nights sleep. I wouldn't market that apartment as suitable for 4 people unless you changed that sofa bed.

This apartment is nicely styled, the lounge is lovely with its exposed brickwork and decorative features and it had a little dining table. The whole place is quite compact, shower room and bedroom are small but it’s what I expected and it was still plenty of space for what we needed from a weekend break. Location is great, there’s a nice beer garden at Churchill’s a stone’s throw away, York Minster is 5 minutes walk away. Parking was great. I thought it was good value and would stay again. My only cons were that there was a bit of a fridge smell (fridge looked clean but did give off a smell) and I didn’t find the bed/mattress too comfortable.

we spent 2 nights here. The location was perfect for getting into the town centre and walking to the local parks. The apartment itself was lovely and the fact we got a parking permit was great. No issue with finding a parking space. I would stay here again, it was lovely. For a weekend stay it was nice after a day of walking about to be able to come back to and relax in comfort for a couple of hours before going out for the evening. The bed was really comfy.
