As a family of four with an 11 year old and a 4 year old this apartment provided the perfect base for us to explore York! It was a home from home where we could retreat after a long day exploring York. It was a gated apartment and we felt very safe when returning late at night. The place was clean with everything you could need including a coffee machine for our morning coffee! Would definitely recommended and stay here again. For us personally it was the nicer end of York.
We had a great stay; the flat was centrally located, very clean, and had all the amenities to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable! Highly recommended!

Great communication from the Owner with clear, helpful and prompt instructions; very easy to communicate at all times, very responsive. A fabulous place: location is excellent; the 'house' is large and roomy, with ample ensuites and additional facilities; the kitchen-dining room is huge, with good appliances and beautiful decor; and very clean and tidy. We had professional caterers and they were very happy with the availability of items. Well recommended.

Very good apartment, a short walk from the centre of York. Everything we needed for our stay, comfortable beds and a good shower with toiletries. The kitchen had a supply of tea, coffee, sugar and milk in sachets which was very useful. Overall very pleased with the accommodation.

Didn’t disappoint. The accommodation is beautifully presented, modern and spacious and was very clean. Due to the size abc the layout it definitely feels more like a second home rather than a bolthole to stay in. The property was well cleaned, tidy and well equipped. The kitchen due to the size and what was offered within is ideal anyone wishing to create their own means whether it be evening meal or breakfast. Lovely clean apartment, very spacious and stocked with a few starter bits so I didnt need to rush straight out to the shop The apartment is inside secure gates which can only be accessed using a fob, we felt very safe

Wonderful place! We were a group of five and had plenty of space. Nice location with a 5 min walk to restaurants, pubs etc. Also easy access to the bus that took us to the University. 16Fishergate has everything you need. It really lived up to our expectations. We would love to come back!
Stayed here over the weekend for a hen do, there was 7 of us. Plenty of space for all, the house is in a perfect spot, very close to local amenities and a quick Uber ride into town, which we did on the Saturday. Weather was perfect to sit in the garden and enjoy the hot tub. House was beautiful and clean, would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Stayed here with 2 children while visiting York for 3 nights. It couldn't be in a better location! Right next to a car park so we could happily unload and leave our car and be on foot for our stay without a worry. Right next to the city wall so everything is just a short walk away. Also, the customer service.of the team was amazing - responded to emails super fast when we had questions and sorted a very minor issue immediately. It is clean, comfortable and well located. What more could you want!

The little studio apartment was incredibly cosy and cute. We loved here. Perfect for a couple of a few friends. The bath in the middle of the room was lovely under the TV, very relaxing. Absolutely stunning house with lots and lots of space. Our group was 4 adults and a child and we had more than enough space. It would also suit larger groups. The beds were comfortable with lots of pillows and extra blankets should you need them and the kitchen had everything you could need. The 2 living rooms were a great touch also. It could do with a few refreshes to make it perfect such as a new rug but other than that it was fantastic and we would happily stay again. Lovely house and we particularly loved the hot tub. The location is excellent with a lovely coffee shop 5 minutes walk plus an Asda and other amenities, and the York city walls a 10 minute walk. Absolutely perfect. House was clean and tidy and had all the amenities. Had no need to contact owner as instructions were clear and we had no problems.
Location is wonderful in the heart of the city. Tons of attractions and of course beautiful pubs to visit. Bedrooms were also large with each having its own bathroom/shower. We will definitely be back!
Excellent property within 2/3 minutes of Monkbar. Very comfortable with 2 bedrooms- 1 with an en-suite and the other close to a family bathroom. Ideal for a family or 2 couples. The joining instructions are a little confusing as it talks about going through the left hand door and turning left down the corridor and there is only 1 door and you turn right to flat 2. Fine when you know how. Our only issue was that the water was cold on the second morning which meant only 2 out of the 4 of us could shower. We enjoyed a lovely week in the apartment. It takes about 10 minutes to get into the centre of York, but luckily we had good weather so this was an enjoyable walk. Parking right outside is an added bonus. Being a little out of town means it was very quiet and easy to access walking trails.

The best thing about this apartment was the location, just 6 minutes walk from York centre and the secure underground parking. We had issues with the apartment, cleanliness (shower dirty, bin full of rubbish from previous occupant) 2nd bedroom, (small wardrobe shelf and rail fell down); these issues were put right by the letting agent which was good hence the high customer service. The bedrooms and beds are small and we (4 people) found the beds (both rooms) uncomfortable. The sofa was also not comfortable. Henry Court Apartment 1 is quiet and comfortable and finished to a very high standard. It is also extremely well-located. It is just a few minutes walk from Morrisons and the shops in Acomb and the bus to York stops almost outside the door. York Boutique Lets are very responsive and when we had a small maintenance issue it was resolved quickly and efficiently via their whatsapp chat service. It is an excellent property and has become our place to stay of choice whenever we are visiting York.
