We had a really lovely time staying at this property. It felt welcoming from the moment we arrived and was a great place to relax. The decor was really nice and added to the overall feel of the space. The location was excellent, being close to the centre and making it easy to get around and explore. Everything we needed was within easy reach which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall a great experience and we would definitely stay again.
Very clean and uncluttered apartment as is depicted in their photos. Quiet area with easy off streets parking with no problem parking. A 20 minute walk to the city centre or a five minute lazy taxi. If returning back to York I would rebook the apartment again. A+++
absolutely excellent stay here. Great proximity to city centre but still quiet and private. The host is very responsive and the instructions to find/get in the apartment were clear and concise. Unfortunately the WiFi was down during our stay but the host made me aware of this beforehand and reimbursed me for the public paid WiFi instantly upon check out. overall a 5* star stay and I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for somewhere great to stay in york.

Very good apartment, a short walk from the centre of York. Everything we needed for our stay, comfortable beds and a good shower with toiletries. The kitchen had a supply of tea, coffee, sugar and milk in sachets which was very useful. Overall very pleased with the accommodation.
What a great place, clean well presented and even with a minor issue with fire wood resolved quickly. Would stay again
This was our second stay in this lovely apartment. Such a great location, just a 10 minute walk into town. Bars and restaurants close by. Apartment is very clean with all the items you need. Only criticism is they leave a minute amount of handwash and shower gel (Molton Brown), I would prefer that they use a cheaper brand and leave enough for the stay. Overall a great place and I am sure we will be back soon.
We had a really lovely time staying at Hudson 5. The property is beautifully decorated and feels very welcoming as soon as you arrive. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well looked after, which made it easy to relax and enjoy our stay. The location was also a big plus, being so close to the centre and within easy reach of shops, restaurants, and everything we needed. It was the perfect base for exploring the area. Overall we had a great experience and would happily stay here again.
A beautiful place to stay and extremely clean and tidy. The location was perfect as well as it was away from the city noise but close enough for us to commute each day.
We had a great stay. The location was great. My suggestions for improvement to receive excellent for all areas. We used the cooker which was in need of cleaning. only small oven for a property serving so many. The front of the property would benefit from a lick of paint. The carpets in the house are in need of cleaning. Not too bad in the bedrooms but the stairs need attention. All this said I would stay here again and for a party room it’s perfect.
Couldn’t have had a better time, nicest lodge I’ve ever been to. Right on a little lake really scenic and the way the lodge has been decorated is unreal

The location was perfect, right in the city centre but not too close to the noisy bars, the house was clean and well appointed. Would recommend.

The development in which the apartment is located is attractive and a few minutes walk from the city centre. The accommodation is comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped, apart from the lack of a corkscrew. However, there were dirty saucepans in the cupboard and one had a handle so loose that it would have been dangerous to use. In addition, the instructions for the cooker in the flat were for another appliance The spout on the kitchen sink tap frequently separated from the base causing a fountain of water to flood the draining board and the windowsill behind the sink. This was an amazing find for our stay in York, the location was perfect, there was parking available literally on your doorstep, the apartment was modern, spacious and had everything we needed. Very clean. Hosts were helpful. No faults.
Wow !! these lodges are something else. We had the best stay at Oakwood Lodges. Easy check in and the view from the hot tub was stunning looking over the lake with lots of birds and wildlife. We will be returning for sure!

We had a fantastic stay at this house. Set back in a remote location, it has a real country feel which made it perfect for a relaxing break away from everything. It was peaceful and private, exactly what we were looking for. The games room was a big hit with everyone, especially the kids, and kept us all entertained throughout the stay. Have stayed in the Kings a few times. Lovely clean apartment with everything you need for your stay. Excellent location, right in the middle of the city centre. There was a problem with the boiler, no hot water on the first morning. Office staff were excellent and problem was fixed within a couple of hours. Booked to stay again next month
The apartment was as described. Clean, comfortable and convenient as only 10-15 mins walk to town. There are a couple of things that could be improved. Firstly, the living / dining /kitchen area could do with a roller blind as the sun was pouring into that room for half the day and it was uncomfortably hot in there. Secondly, the bins had not been emptied prior to our check-in and we arrived after 6pm so there was ample time to turn over the apartment. Great city centre location with parking. Property was as shown on pictures and had plenty of amenities although could of used a few more spare toilet rolls for our stay with 5 occupants. We requested an early check in the evening before as per instructions as dependent on the previous booking and were told we could check in from 12, no charge which was great. Clear instructions sent about how to find the property/parking and how to self check in/out. Overall great experience would stay here again.
The place was totally adequate for our requirements. We hope to use it several times throughout 2026

Having made a late booking we were delighted with the fast response from the host, Claire. The accommodation was clean, tidy and cosy on arrival. It was well equipped and spacious. We stayed for 4 nights and had dinner in the local pubs, all of which were friendly and great food. Our accommodation was handy to York, so great for getting around. We will be returning again in April and have booked to stay again with York Boutique Lets. Both Claire and Jo were exceptionally helpful.

Nice location and very nice lodge but floors were dirty and cutlery were dirty aswell, also would be better if we were provided with extra towels or bathrobes and slippers for getting out of the hot tub instead of having to use the same towels we used for showers/baths.
Fantastic weekend for our friends 60th birthday celebrations. The lodge is fantastic and spent most of our time in the entertainment area outside, would definitely recommend

We travelled as as a party of 4, 2 mums with kids for 3 nights during half term. The property was ideally located for walking to all the York sights - and we easily walked to and from the train station with a wheelie bag. The apartment felt really secure and had every amenity you’d need for cooking should you wish to. Loads of restaurants within walking distance. Great value for money and perfect for putting the kids to bed and being able to sit and chill with a glass of wine. Great communication with the hosts, have already recommended York Boutique Lets to friends.
Henry Court Apartment 1 is compact but very well laid out and has everything we need even for long stays. It is located in a quiet cul-de-sac off the main street of Acomb, 10 minutes walk from Morrison's and just 20 minutes by bus from York. The number one bus to the centre of York stops almost outside. We have stayed there many times and it is our accommodation of choice when we are in York.
Loved it - relaxing with loads for the little one to do - fire pit / pool / darts / hot tub. Loads of wildlife - hedgehogs / heron / moorhens / ducks / rabbits / etc. Really good relaxing weekend.
This lodge defo has the wow factor, the pool table was a big hit and the big projector screen, plenty to do for our break that we didnt need to leave the site.
This comfortable flat is right in the heart of the city and exactly where we wanted to be to see the sights, eat out and generally have a fantastic break. Thoroughly recommended
