We stayed here for three nights during the Viking Festival and had a wonderful experience. The apartment was spotless on arrival and equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The central heating kept us warm throughout, and the kitchen had everything required.
The location was ideal—just a short walk to the city centre and plenty of great restaurants. The free parking was a huge bonus, and the WiFi worked perfectly during our stay. Beds were very comfy, and we slept well.

Highly recommended!

This place is exactly what York is about! Close to the city centre, in keeping with it's surroundings, quiet street (with added bonus of free parking), comfortable and luxurious feeling! We had a fantastic stay here, it really was home from home! Sad to leave but excited for a return in the future. Service is also fabulous from the management agency with quick response times and always seem to go above and beyond to accomdate. Just perfect, thank you.

superbly located apartment - right in the heart of York. Apartment felt spacious and beautiful with high vaulted ceilings. It was very handily situated, making it easy to walk into the city centre. The apartment is situated next to a train line but trains are infrequent and we did not notice them during our stay. The apartment also had great kitchen facilities and a Christmas tree in the living room corner added a lovely festive touch.

I have to say one of the best apartments I have stayed in with Airbnb and I have stopped in many around the world.

It’s in a beautiful period property and the apartment has retained those period features with a modern look. The large windows are just a standout bringing so much light into the rooms.

Two lovely double bedrooms with very comfortable beds. The large open plan kitchen diner / living room provided all we wanted as a party of three.

The rainfall shower in the bathroom is just wonderful. I could have stopped in there a lot longer but checkout was coming up so had to get out unfortunately.

The apartment is close to the main centre and easily walkable in about 10 minutes.

Communication throughout the process was always great. There is free parking and as we arrived early we were able to check in early grab the parking permit and park the car right out at the front of the building, perfect!

There only downside was we only booked one night, would definitely return!

Absolutely amazing! Such an easy check-in, wonderful central location and right next to a Sainsbury's local and cash machine.
We used the parking permit which was fantastic and easy to find a space to park.
The rooms were large, spotless and comfy, with a well stocked kitchen.
TV was slightly slow to load apps but we watched everything fine once on!
Hosts were responsive and we didn't even have to take out the bins!
10/10 - will definitely be back!

We had a nice stay in this apartment close to the centre of York. The parking permit was great so we didnt even use our car once we had parked up as we were so close to the centre. Really clean and everything was thought of for a great stay.

Closer to York Central than expected, which was great! Perfect apartment for a short stay.
Clean and comfortable.
The occasional train passing wasn't a problem as they weren't that loud even with the window open.
We were treated with a diesel locomotive with classic carriages on one of the days.

This was our second visit to this apartment, and we were very pleased with it, as before, although we were disappointed that the view from the bay window has been obscured (presumably for privacy). It would be much better to provide retractable blinds, as the sun made sitting at the table unbearable when it streamed in during the recent hot spell. Previously we enjoyed looking out at our surroundings. The availability of parking is a very great benefit.

I was excited when it was advertised as luxury apartment? The place was run down, old worn carpets, bedroom blind broken had to roll up and wedge it to stay up, old appliances, poor TV channels. Plastic plants dusty, everything behind the TV has never been cleaned, dirty windows, no tension to detail or welcome package as like other apartments we stayed at! The bed comfort was okay but at least the bathroom was clean. Sorry but nothing special and was disappointed since it was supposed to be Luxury.

We had an excellent two weeks at I Bootham Terrace. It is a very comfortable flat, extremely well-situated, with convenient on-street parking, which is a real benefit. The kitchen area is well equipped, and everything worked, although the fridge had no ice-making or freezer facility. However, the fridge itself was inclined to freeze some things solid, which didn't improve the potatoes! The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. As we were three people, booked for two weeks, it would have been nice to have more than one hand towel (in addition to bath towels) between us, but that is a minor point. We'd be very happy to stay here again.

from check in until check out, it was smooth sailing and and easy process, the team were more than helpful with suggestions of places to eat and store our luggage. had a great experience and will certainly book again. We really enjoyed our stay. The flat is beautiful, very clean and well presented. Check-in was a doddle and staff are very helpful if you do need them for anything. We didn't need to cook during our stay, but I did note how well stocked the kitchen is in terms of cooking equipment. Beds were extremely comfortable. Our only criticism is that there are no blinds/curtains in the living room. We enjoyed the Spring sunshine, but it would be a different story visiting in the summer as the room is quite a suntrap!

This property was perfect. Absolutely lovely. Very clean and well kept. There was a useful welcome guide with many recommendations of things to do and places to eat which we found extremely handy. Parking was just outside the house on the street. Not a far walk from the city at all. We loved our stay and have nothing but positive comments towards it. The company is also highly recommended, we will be booking direct next time!

The location is absolutely spot on. Just few minutes walk from the city centre and shops. The parking permit was perfect considering the parking fees around the city centre.

We usually stay in Hotels, but tried York Boutique Lets and found this a much simpler process! This property was reccomended to us when we told them the dates we wanted to visit York and what we wanted to do in York, it was a perfect location and very stylish throughout, the perfect place to relax on an evening. We can't wait for our next visit!

This property is in a great location near so many cafe's restaurants and bars and then a short walk into the main town centre, we wanted to visit the Minster and that is only a very short walk away. The hosts were amazing with reccomendations of places nearby to eat and any issues we had, we didn't read our check in instructions and they were on hand to assist staright away. Would highly reccomend this place!

We had a lovely stay here, we often stay in York and this area but this is our first time with this company and in this apartment. We will definitely be back. It was an enjoyable experience from the get go. Easy booking process directly, very easy to communicate with the company. Lovely interior throughout, very modern and well thought through and had everything we needed. Parking was easy. Distance to the centre was perfect. We didnt realise how good of a location Bootham was in York as we rarely visit. You are literally a stones throw from the centre of York and close to some great food places!! We visted the art gallery which is a 10 minute walk away and worth the visit. My wife and I thought this apartment was perfect and met our every need, very clean and very well presented. The owners were amazing, let us know they were on hand and made sure we had everything before we arrived, makes it nice for a company to make it a little personal, felt as though we were very well hosted!

Had a wonderful stay, the apartment was gorgeous and had everything you needed. It was in a fantastic location, just a short 5 minute walk from the Minster. It was next to a train track but thankfully they didn’t run through the night. The beds were so comfortable and the shower was amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

The only slight issue was lack of storage space in the bedrooms so lived out of suitcase which was ok for short stay but for longer stays would irritate

We loved our stay at Bootham Apartment, Flat 3. It was so clean and comfortable, the location was perfect! We loved the decor and layout of the apartment. It was a really lovely space to stay in! The only thing that I would say is, it would have been good if there were a few more 'essential' items such as; kitchen role, more than one tea towel, a few more mugs and dishwasher tabs etc. After a long journey, it's quite nice if these items are included:) Would definitely book again and recommend to friends and family, thank you!

Very clean and beautifully decorated with thought for the overall look. Extremely modern! Chose it to be able to relax in a living area due to limited bars open and weather permitting. Very comfortable and close to the centre. Lovely street. Instructions on parking and key collection clear. Easy to walk to city centre. York Boutique Lets team were all really helpful on all contact.

Very clean and comfortable. In excellent location. Very helpful staff. We had difficulty entering the apartment on arrival, but this problem was quickly resolved. My only criticism was that there was no disposable cloth to wipe the kitchen worktops.
