Converted stables Room 1 is a beautifully decorated and modern studio apartment, based in a lovely quiet area just outside of York City centre. This lovely apartment has the convenience of being located in a quiet, friendly village while still having a direct bus route in York city centre , the bus stop is located within a minutes’ walk at the end of the drive way.
This cosy apartment has an extremely comfortable King Size bed, it also has a single bed and a single sofa bed sleeping up to 4 guests, all beds are of an excellent hotel quality and linen and towels are provided throughout your stay.
In the room you will find a lovely little kitchenette with a microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge.
There is an En suite with a walk in shower in the apartment. There is also a luxury Roll top bath in the centre of the room, at the end of the King Size bed. This is beyond perfect for a nice relaxing while watching the flat screen television on the wall after a long day exploring in the city of York!
The property offers lots of parking right outside of the apartment on a large gravel drive, it also has a lovely large garden space to enjoy in the summer months.
The lovely little village of Strensall offers excellent commuter links and bus links into the historic city centre. This friendly area has good, close by amenities; including pubs, shops, a hairdressers, a bakery and a fish and chip shop, and there is also a village park and a superb golf course, with other alternatives close by.
This property is perfect if you are wanting a nice relaxing stay with friends or your partner, with easy access to the city centre but away from all the hustle and bustle!
Free high speed WIFI is provided alongside a hair dryer and ironing facilities for you to use.
This property provides the perfect home from home accommodation for your short stay in York.

This was a great find for a short stay in York. It was cosy, modern, perfect for a couple or some friends. The bath at the end of the bed was very relaxing. Smart Tv was great!

Such a cute conversion, the little garden set was lovely to sit out on a sunny day, the stable was clean and modern yet rustic, we have visited before and will return again, we come here for our anniversary and it never fails to please us. A great bus route into the centre.

we booked this last minute and it didn't dissapoint, staff are onsite if you need anything and are more than helpful, the bath in the room was amazing and the beds were sooo comfy, it has a bus stop just outside that goes straight into town, a great stay!

Had a really nice short break at Earswick. Location excellent for getting in to York. We caught the bus in which stopped about 100 yards down the road. The property is behind the main bungalow, so is away from the road, so there was zero road noise. The flat is nice and clean, bed is comfy, heating is easy to operate. Kettle, microwave, toaster and fridge for renters use. We had one very small issue, and contact was really easy, and dealt with very promptly, so no complaints about service levels. Super responsive hosts.Will return in the future

Stopped here for two nights as a treat for my husbands birthday. We were in the converted barn 1 which had a roll top bath at the end of the bed and a lovely walk in shower in the bathroom. Also in the room there was a self contained kitchenette with a microwave toaster kettle fridge and a sink plus all cutlery and crockery you would need. A beautiful place decorated to a high standard and the owner was very friendly. Also there was a folder with all details of local places to visit. Local restaurant and taxi numbers. Plus at the end of the drive was the bus stop which had easy routes direct into York. Would definitely recommend and definitely stay here again.

A very comfortable stay, equipped with all the essentials you may need. Spacious bedroom, with a beautiful bathroom, and a very big walk in shower. The beds were so comfortable and the bed linen felt very luxurious, the bath in the middle of the room was a real centre peice to this room, we had the option of a shower in a seperate bathroom too, my daughter loved the bath and watching her cartoons! Had a decent size fridge and a microwave to heat up any meals or snacks! Was ideal for us would certainly return.

Used for two nights during the food festival in York. Very comfortable and great value for money. Only ten min taxi ride into York City centre. Loads of space in the room and big shower. Parking was excellent with lots of spaces just outside your door.

We stayed here for my birthday treat and it was so lovely. Me, my daughter my mum and sister had a lovely pamper night doing face masks and treats. We loved it and was so so comfortable and spotlessly clean. We would definitely stay again.

My friend and I stayed for a few days at the stables and it was amazing. It’s a lovely place, really clean and comfortable. Nice surroundings and great location. Bus stop is right outside and a great regular bus service into town. Really easy check in and check out. Beds are comfy, great little kitchen area and the bathtub in the middle of the room was hilarious! Lovely little area outside for sitting in the sunshine. Really enjoyed my stay here and would use it again if I visited York.

This apartment is located just a 10 minute drive in to the city centre, it is very clean, modern and stylish inside and haa a beautiful large bath in the bedroom. The beds are very comfortable and it has enough space for 3 guests to stay in. There is lots of space for parking right outside the front door and has a lovely garden.
Overall a great stay and we will definitley return.

There is lots of space for parking which is free of charge.

Two nights in this beautifully converted stables was simply lovely.

We were so impressed by the careful and thoughtful attention to detail - the every inch of space is used to maximum effect and to ensure guests are comfortable.

We loved the claw bath, shower room and choice of furnishings. The handy access to the regular bus into York meant we could head off, have a couple of glasses of wine and not worry about the journey back.

An utterly lovely place to stay, relax and escape from reality - we intend to visit again soon.

We throughly enjoyed a romantic night away here .
Had everything we wanted , nice environment in peaceful surroundings .
We watched Netflix and had a lovely takeaway delivered after a nice day in the town centre . Taxi was only £11 and took no more than 7 minutes to get there .

we booked this last minute not expecting much but was blown away by how beautiful this place is, we booked one night but wish we booked more as we felt we didn't see everything york has to offer, the parking was plenty and we didn't need to use our car as there is a bus stop 2 minutes from the property with a bus that takes you straight into the centre! this location is perfect for couples wanting to escape the city business but go and explore at your leisure.

This place was perfect for me and my partner. The room was lovely, decorated really nice and modern. Big bed, probably the best nights sleep I have had in ages. Roll top bath at the end of the bed, which again was a lovely touch. Great location, quiet as out of the centre but was easy access in.

The stable was perfect for what we wanted. It was a cosy studio room, large bed and a single bed in the room. Lovely centre piece roll top bath at the end of the bed. Separate bathroom with a modern walk in shower! Really modern throughout, really clean also. Nice little touches left. Lovely comfortable beds, best night sleep I have had in ages. We came as a couple, but plan to return with our children. Easy access on a bus into the City. Hosts were very helpful, their office was on site and nothing was too much.
We cannot wait to come back and highly recommend.

We absolutely loved staying here, perfect for a girly weekend of prosecco and pampering, and exploring the beautiful city of York. The bus into the centre was literally a 30 second walk, we would recommend walking the city walls & drinking at Jimmy's on the way back!
The room was spotless, we just wish we knew that there was no oven or hob, as we had bought food to cook, but maybe that was me nit reading all the information, and it definitely didn't put a dampner on the weekend!
Would love to stay again & will definitely be recommending to friends

The property was as described and very clean and well ordered. The bed was super comfortable (we were a party of 2 so only used the one bed)! Staff were pleasant and very helpful in dealing with any queries promptly. We opted to use public transport for going in to York and the bus stop is incredibly close with a very frequent bus service so would recommend this as a means of getting about.
Our only niggle was unreliable wi-if within our property- it was intermittent and frequently required us to be outside to be closer to the router. However that did not get in the way of a lovely stay.

Location is nice, as it's right outside a bus stop and the self-check in is great. The people are nice there which added value to my stay.

Although, I was lied too, after I got clear confirmation that I was going to get breakfast but apparently this wasn't a thing. Luckily I brought some extra stuff

Loved the room very nicely decorated and the beds were really comfy we loved the bath was a great feature, it was a short drive to city centre and the office girls were really helpful on check In

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the converted stable. It was very comfortable and provided a great base to explore York. It is a little tired though and the shower unfortunately doesn't work that well, however, the lovely bath made up for that! The bedlinen was of very good quality and ensured a good night's sleep. The fridge door in our apartment didn't have shelves, so it made it very difficult to store bottles or cartons, which is a bit problematic for lovers of wine, as once a bottle was opened, it had to be finished otherwise it would have spilled everywhere - maybe that was just our excuse.

All in all, we had lovely time

We loved the apartments it had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The girls in the office were lovely and very helpful. We also enjoyed the wee visits from the 2 very well behaved dogs!
The only slightl negative we could find were the outdoor seats they could do with a paint, apart from that we loved it.

My best friend and I stayed in the converted stable for one night, as a girls night away and it was perfect!
Clean, spacious and very comfortable, with everything we needed, we considered moving in permanently...
The bath at the end of the bed is massive to the point I could actually lay down in it! Would definitely make a perfect romantic night away with the other half and it was perfect for a girls pamper night. Chinese take away down the road, with a little shop, a pub and country walks!

Stayed here just for the night with my partner and it was lovely. Close to park and ride and buses into York. In the room we got all the information we could need provided by the owners which was greatly appreciated . We will definitely stay again .

The room and bathroom were lovely and very clean couldn’t fault that. However the shower wasn’t very good, it was difficult to control it, going from red hot to cold. Ok for anyone who prefers a bath as there was a big one in the room. We had a problem with the tv remote and the owner came with new batteries quickly.

This room was beautiful. It was a £10 taxi fare from York centre but the three of us did not mind- the location in the countryside and beautiful surroundings made up for it. We had a beautiful break.

A convenient location for access to York especially by bus as the stop is less than 100 yards from the property. However, access to local amenities is inconvenient and requires your own transport. Eating arrangements inside the property are limited and could really do with a folding table and chairs. There is an outdoor table and chairs but, unfortunately, this is not always suited to the vagaries of the British weather!

This was a Christmas present from our kids so as soon as we could we booked. What a lovely room. Very comfortable and clean. 5 miles out of York in a lovely quiet setting. We felt very relaxed especially after a lot of walking around York. A small kitchen area equipped with microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, dishcloth, tea towel and washing up liquid. There is also an iron, ironing board and hairdryer. An en-suite with toilet, basin and shower. There is also a large roll topped bath at the end of the bed for those that like a good soak after a long day exploring and you can watch the tv on the wall. Our room also had a single and sofa bed so ideal for family with young children.

We had a really great stay in York. The place was fantastic and it had everything needed. It was very clean and lovely inside. A book was provided that had suggestions on what to do/what was near and that was very helpful. Overall, nice place. However, bit far out from the city centre if you do not have a car with you.

We stayed here for two nights for a short visit to York and this place did not disappoint. The location is great, which has easy access to York City Centre by public transport. The property itself is very well appointed and the bath basin in the middle of the room is such a good quirky touch. I highly recommend York Boutique Lets!

Third stay here, always immaculate, cosy and very comfortable bed. Every thing you need. Good location for driving or bussing into York city centre. Very quiet. Only problem was the shower changing temperature but that was just a minor. Look forward to going back

We had a lovely 2 night stay here and felt totally relaxed. Lovely accomodation, warm, comfortable and had everything we needed.

I would say the place was clean tidy and to reasonable standards but no way it’s suitable for 4 Adults as I purchased the wowcher and pay the weekend supplement as it only really for two people

Very nice room though a bit tight I would probably get rid of the bath. There’s no drawers in the room and not enough hanging space for clothes but saying this I would still stay here again.
