Fountain view Apartment is a 2 bedroom spacious apartment in a select development on the 1st floor .This property is in a superb location just a 5 minute walk from York train station and the city centre.
And situated opposite the famous railway museum a popular attraction in York.
Just a short 5 minute walk to Coney street the main shopping street in York.
The property offers parking on your door step for one car.
It comfortably sleeps 5 guests the main bedroom is a king with a en-suite with a shower ,The second bedroom is a double.
The second bathroom is a bath, sink and toilet. The living room has a double sofa bed for extra guests.
Plenty of seating is provided for sprawling in front of the plasma screen TV for cosy nights in and the contemporary fitted kitchen is well equipped and comprises of cooker, fridge, microwave, washer. In the dining room is a large dining table which allows you to sit down as group/family and have a meal and drinks.

Our family members stayed there for over three weeks, and overall, the accommodation was good — clean, tidy, and nicely arranged. The cleaner did a great job by coming in mid-stay to refresh the space, and the management team was very responsive to two incidents. The first was that a mirror fell and broke the basin, which was a bit unsettling and suggested that the accommodation might be showing signs of age. The second incident involved a leak from upstairs, but the tenant above was very apologetic. While we understand that both incidents would take some time to fix, we don’t blame the management for them. However, there’s always room to improve the experience for guests who go through these situations.

The host is kind with quick response to the issue and fixed it. The apartment is spacious and well decorated with assigned parking space. The view and the environment outside the apartment is nice and comfortable. It is good for short stay.

Nice apartment a 10min walk into the middle of York. Ubers are about £5 each way. Located in a quiet part of town. Host responded quickly to queries- all good - Thanks

A great apartment very convenient. A comfortable stay had by all. The 2 bathrooms were a great added bonus, we had an issue with the heating during our stay and was very impressed how this was talked through over the phone and resolved within less than 20 minutes. Clean and spacious throughout.

Fountains view was a nice apartment located around a 15min walk into town centre & very close to the railway museum. It was on the 1st floor so something to bear in mind if mobility issues.
The apartment was clean overall with all amenities needed, we ate out mostly but everything was there if you wanted to cook. The apartment did look a little tired in some areas which is only expected if it has constant use. You could see where light switches & sockets had been replaced & a couple needed attention as were loose. The Bedrooms had window blinds but ideally could have done with curtains too as lights from outside shone through the gaps at night & then the morning light shone through in very early morning - not good if youre a light sleeper. Noise could also be heard quite loudly from other apartments but it didn't bother us too much as we were out & about mostly.
1 free parking space was included & permit given to display in your car as the apartment was within private residential area each with allocated parking. The spaces were a little tight if parking a bigger car esp with the paved raised borders dividing the spaces & the small area in which to swing if car parked opposite but not a big issue at least there was parking. There was some confusion re the check in time however as when we booked it said 2pm on the website as it also did on our payment invoice so we planned our journey to this meaning we could arrive in time for lunch & find a short stay car park & enjoy the day but upon receiving check in info & code to collect the apartment key it said 4pm? We chanced arriving just after 2pm & the apartment was just finishing being cleaned. Probably would have thought twice about booking on the 4pm check in as that's quite late in the day esp when check out is 10am. We had a nice stay tho.

The apartment was really lovely and modern. Nicely decorated throughout. 2 Bathrooms made it ideal for our group when we were getting ready to go out. Perfect location, literally a 5-10 minute walk into the city centre which was great. Easy check in process with easy to follow instructions and the girls who I spoke to on the phone were so lovely and really helpful. Had a brilliant stay and we are looking to book again sometime in the future

Would definitely use York Boutique again and most likely stay at Fountains view again. Just a few minutes walk from the station and 10 -15 mins walk from the city centre. Comfortable, clean and warm. There is one allocated parking spot, but there is a pay and display car park just a couple of minutes walk away if you are arriving in two cars.

We had the best stay in Fountains View apartment, it was clean, spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. We were very happy with where this property is located, as it is a 5 minute walk from york station and a further 5 minute walk into York's City Centre. There is a free parking space with the property which is great if you travel here by car also! The interior is very modern and well designed, we were very impressed. The services we used were helpful and polite and gave us a very detailed explanation of the arrival details. We were amazed by the apartment and will definitely book the same apartment in York again.

We had a brilliant stay here, we stayed for over a week and throughout the whole stay the staff were very considerate and responsive within all our communication. The flat itself was in an ideal location, it was so close to the train station, and easy walking distance into the City Centre and York Minster. It had everything we needed, staying for over week was perfect as the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals, it saved us a fortune instead of having to eat out every night.
We would love to stay here again, the whole experience was extremely pleasant!

We had the best stay in Fountains View appartment, it was clean, spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. We had a lovely stay at fountains view appartment. This was a perfect location for us, as it is located right near york train station. The propery is modern and has beautiful interior. The kitchen was fully equipt with everything we needed and the beds are extremely comfortable. I would highly reccoment staying at this property, the services were great and the property was thoughroughly cleaned prior to our stay.

We had a really great time here in York. First impressions of the apartment was very good. Really clean, beds were made perfect. Big towels provided. Kitchen was really well equipped, better than expected. We ate in a few nights as we could cook. Beds were really comfy. Location was great and parking was provided which was ideal. Was a really pleasant experience and would love to come back!

Beautiful apartment, Lovely stay. Really great location, easy walking distance to the centre and right over the road from the Railway museum, parking provided in a space nearby free of charge which was really handy. All the amenities were provided. Instructions for entry were detailed and straight forward. Easy booking process, wouldn't hesitate to book this place again.

Had a brilliant stay in this property, it was a lovely apartment and the beds were extremely comfortable.
Really clean, everything we needed was there such as tea, coffee. There was even and iron which came in handy! Parking provided which was great given its literally a 10 minute walk into the city centre. We loved walking round York! Its our favourite city and we will definitely be coming back and booking this apartment again.
Our first stay in self catering apartments and it did not disappoint!

1st floor. Like new. Very bright and comfortable. Only 10mins into town. Nice view from the Juliet balcony onto the shared garden area. Convenient car park space. Tea and coffee provided - and dishwasher tablets — brilliant! No hot water unfortunately on the last day - not allowed to fiddle with controls so reported it - and they offered to send someone immediately. Juliet balcony lock needs fixing - temperamental but worked. Reported it - again offered to send someone. Cleaner missed a couple of oil drips in oven which on opening to put in our garlic bread was a like a steam train - fun though! LOL - reported. Considering all above pros and cons, and that they offered to fix immediately, I would definitely stay there again. Cheers.
