Surrounded by 2000 years of history this superb 5 star holiday property is on ground floor level within a superb grade 11 listed property. It is located within the city walls and has to be one of the most marvellous locations in York. The property has been completely re-designed and refurbished offering a beautiful, modern and welcoming 5 star interior, giving guests incredibly high standards of accommodation with two sumptuous bedrooms. ‘George street boutique apartments’ are just a few minutes’ walk from the city centre down walmgate and have every convenience to hand with shops, delis, restaurants, history and more close by. A completely stunning property and a stunning location.
The property is beautifully furnished throughout, offering excellent sleeping accommodation in two sumptuous bedrooms. The property can accommodate up to six guests extremely comfortably with the additional sofa bed, with lots of space.
Through the apartment’s entrance hall the property opens up into a stunning hallway with kitchen , bedrooms and living room all opening up off this.
There is a large designer corner sofa , chess set and board games for adults and children alike. There is also a Smart TV, wi-fi and a blu-tooth sound system.
The fully equipped ,designer kitchen is separate from the living area and has a wonderful dining table that seats up to 6 guests and can be transformed into a snooker table !!. With granite work tops, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washer-drier and more it offers guests everything they could need during their stay.
The main bedroom has large period windows and offers a luxuriously comfortable king sized bed that can be split into singles if required, wardrobe, and Smart TV. The second bedroom has a superbly comfortable double bed.
The pristine master bathroom has a fantastic walk in shower.


This really is a stunning, high class and superb holiday property offering guests one of the best locations to stay, and from which to explore the city.
These propertys can be booked together for larger groups of up to 12 in total.

This beautiful apartment has the WOW Factor from the moment you walk through the door.

It’s a beautiful apartment and a lot of thought has been put into every details.

The snooker table that doubles up as a table was a fabulous treat because we could hang out at the house and enjoy a game together.

The bed is extremely comfy and we loved that there is a choice of pillows from soft to firm.

The shower has excellent pressure and it is a drencher shower which was lovely.

The sofa in the living room is possibly the comfiest sofa ever.

Everything was about 10-15 minutes walk away which was ideal for us.

The road is very quiet so we weren’t disturbed in the mornings and we got parked fairly easily outside the apartment.

The hosts were very quick to respond to messages and very friendly.

We hope to return again soon, it was a real treat x

Great stay at York Boutique apartment. We were a party of 10 and fitted comfortably with room to spare. It's in a great location, walking distance in and out of the city centre but in a quiet area so had a great nights sleep!
The apartment was immaculate, with a lovely kitchen area for hosting and spotlessly bedrooms and bathrooms!

Would highly recommend a stay and would definitely visit again!

a very central flat with parking on your door step. It was simply stunning and for the price an absolute bargain! We have already booked for the summer, This is exactly the type of place I would expect from such a beautiful city!!

we were absolutely blown away by this stunning apartment, the décor was just amazing! Everything felt so luxurious and the pool table was a very welcome addition to our stay. We have stayed at this apartment about 4 times now and have loved coming back. Unfortunately this time we noticed the standard had really dropped with regards to cleanliness. These was dust on the walls and windows, the kitchen sink was grubby as the base around the taps weren’t cleaned, no kitchen roll and I saw blood stains on the additional duvet we asked for. Also some of the hand towels had marks on them. I am very disappointed as staying here has always been the highlight of our trip. But I think we will stay elsewhere next time.

The apartment is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, very comfortable and extremely homely. The apartment is in a great location for a short walk into York near all the attractions and lots of places to eat & drink. We managed to park within the permitted area across the road and leave our car there throughout the stay which was very convenient. We’d definitely recommend the apartment for a trip to explore York.

A fantastic find. So so central - literally minutes until you are on the main streets. Restaurants / bars / cafes all at the end of the road. Despite the apartment being so central it was surprisingly quiet at night. Stylish and very comfortable apartment - sofa, chairs, beds, sofa bed - all very clean and comfortable. Parking permit was a definite bonus. The designated parking zone covers a few streets so we always found a parking space somewhere. When I am next in York I will be staying here!

We booked this for a girls weekend and can honestly say we were blown away, with everything!! From the cleanliness to the ammenities in the apartment it was such a great relaxing break!! The company was so helpful when we couldn't find the key safe (us been abit ditzy) They were more than happy to help. My 7 friends and I stayed for 2 nights in March and it was perfect for us. It is very close to the centre of York and the perfect location to access the local sites and restaurants etc. The accommodation was of a high standard with beautiful decor and plush carpets/furniture. The beds were all extremely comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and towels available for everyone. A really nice touch were the amenities like tea and coffee provided, plus the Prosecco in the fridge was a lovely surprise! We would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation and can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful time in York with our ten your old grand-daughter, made perfect in the knowledge that we were always going back to our ideal temporary home. It was quiet, convenient, superbly furnished and equipped, spotlessly clean, spacious, immaculate and wonderfully comfortable. The owner dealt immediately with our own inability to make the coffee machine work. All we needed was a corkscrew and a knife sharpener!!

This apartment was so much more than we expected, the location was amazing! Within the York city walls, literally 5 minutes up a street called Fossgate which is full of really nice places to eat and drink, and then you hit the city centre. The apartment itself was very modern, there was lovely touches left by the agent/owner... It was just a really pleasant stay from start to finish! Check in process was easy and very well explained. Parking was provided which was an unexpected bonus being so close to the city centre. Would book this place again without a doubt.

It says it all. We have found the perfect apartment and choose to stay here everytime we visit York. It ticks all the boxes and the kids love the pool table.

We stayed at George street apartment 1 for 2 nights. We had been at the races and checked in at evening time, this was really easy with the self check in box.

The apartment is stunning and is decorated/ kept to a very high standard. A lovely weekend! Thank you :)

Nothing negative to say except I wish we could have stayed longer! The flat was easy to find, smelled lovely and was very clean. The fittings and decor were luxurious and the bottle of Prosecco was a lovely touch. Parking was easy to find near the flat. The location was great for sightseeing and was also very near lots of restaurants which made it easy to sort meals. One of the best places I’ve stayed in ever. Will definitely stay here if ever in York again.

We have stayed here last year in the summer and again this time over Christmas. Our kids loved using the pool table and the easy walk into the centre. A lovely touch by the owner leaving us a bottle of Prosecco and panatonne. This will always be our first choice next time we visit York, thank you again!

Beautiful accomodation, everything was spotlessly clean. Ideal central location for exploring. House Key collection and car parking very smooth. I highly recommend this apartment to anybody wanting a touch of luxury during their York break.

This property was amazing, it was better than the photos showed. Really friendly hosts, quick at responding and nothing was too much. The apartment was so comfortable and modern and had everything, we massively over packed not realizing how well equipped it would actually be. Thank you for an amazing stay!

We husband and I were a bit afraid to go on holiday during this pandemic but my daughter is key worker and needed a holiday. We booked the York Boutique Let’s who were very helpful and friendly to deal with. Many places I contacted to enquire about their properties said they would meet me at the property with the key. As we are in a pandemic and social distancing is a must I did not want this. This place had a key code safe so there was no contact. The apartment was absolutely spotless. Dishwasher tablets, washing capsules, disinfect, anti bac hand soap and hand gel all left for us. As was bread, milk, tea and coffee. The place was huge and very well maintained. The location was excellent. So happy we booked here and will not hesitate to book again. As soon it safe to travel without restrictions I will be back.
