Surrounded by 2000 years of history this superb 5 star holiday property is on first floor level within a superb grade 11 listed property. It is located within the city walls and has to be one of the most marvelous locations in York. The property has been completely re-designed and refurbished offering a beautiful, modern and welcoming 5 star interior, giving guests incredibly high standards of accommodation with two sumptuous bedrooms. ‘George street boutique apartments’ are just a few minutes’ walk from the city centre down walmgate and have every convenience to hand with shops, delis, restaurants, history and more close by. A completely stunning property and a stunning location.
The property is beautifully furnished throughout, offering excellent sleeping accommodation in two sumptuous bedrooms. The property can accommodate up to six guests extremely comfortably with the additional sofa bed, with lots of space.
Through the apartment’s entrance hall the property opens up into a stunning hallway with kitchen , bedrooms and living room all opening up off this.
There is a large designer corner sofa and board games for adults and children alike. There is also a Smart TV, wi-fi and a blu-tooth sound system.
The fully equipped ,designer kitchen is separate from the living area and has a wonderful dining table that seats up to 6 guests. With granite work tops, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washer-drier and more it offers guests everything they could need during their stay.
The main bedroom has large period windows and offers a luxuriously comfortable king sized bed that can be split into singles if required, wardrobe, and Smart TV. The en-suite has a large walk in shower. The second bedroom has a superbly comfortable king sized bed.
The pristine master bathroom is simply stunning ! with a free standing bath and separate shower cubicle.

There is an outside patio area with this apartment that can be used for barbecues al fresco to enjoy the best of the English weather !
This really is a stunning, high class and superb holiday property offering guests one of the best locations to stay, and from which to explore the city.
These property's can be booked together for larger groups of up to 12 in total.

We were in York on a hen do, and the house was ideal for our group of 12. The property is a lot more spacious than it appears in the photos, with lots of communal space and spotlessly clean.

Location is great, nothing seemed to be more than a 10-15 minute walk away and only around the corner from pubs and restaurants.

Communication through the booking process was excellent and very quick to come back with any queries. Would definitely recommend!

Great stay at York Boutique apartment. We were a party of 10 and fitted comfortably with room to spare. It's in a great location, walking distance in and out of the city centre but in a quiet area so had a great nights sleep!
The apartment was immaculate, with a lovely kitchen area for hosting and spotlessly bedrooms and bathrooms!

Would highly recommend a stay and would definitely visit again!

We had a fantastic time at this property. We had booked both apartments, which worked perfectly for our hen group. The place was spotless, and really well equipped. 12 of us stayed here and there was plenty of space! Its like 2 separate apartments but with a door in between that they open up it was great, we all felt we had our own space! the older ones of the group slept upstairs and the younger ones stayed downstairs! It was perfect for our family getaway and very central.

I booked both George St apartments for a group of 8 friends visiting to play golf in the area. York Boutique Lets were great to deal with - good comms and very helpful - and the accommodation was perfect, super clean, modern and comfortable with some lovely additional touches. The sofa beds were used and these were great for enabling larger groups to stay. Would thoroughly recommend to others!

my wife and I stayed I this lovely flat for 1 nights over Christmas. it is a 5 minute walk from the centre of York, so ideal location wise. the place itself is beautiful! just what we needed for a comfortable stay over the festive period. the sofa is extremely comfortable, as was the bed. if we come to York again, we will definately look at booking! many thanks!

I am so grateful that we can stay in house like this! All the kitchen equipment are so decent and clean. We stayed in-house for homemade dinner two nights because of the nice kitchen! The check-in process is efficient and quick. I really love the carpet and the view when there’s sunshine comes inside from the window. The apartment is done out to an exceptional standard, you can see the details in everything! It was immaculate!! My 7 friends and I stayed for 2 nights in March and it was perfect for us. It is very close to the centre of York and the perfect location to access the local sites and restaurants etc. The accommodation was of a high standard with beautiful decor and plush carpets/furniture. The beds were all extremely comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and towels available for everyone. A really nice touch were the amenities like tea and coffee provided, plus the Prosecco in the fridge was a lovely surprise! We would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation and can’t wait to return!

10/10.Our best property yet. Beautifully decorated, (by an interior designer?), spacious accommodation, superb kitchen with everything you need & more. Lots of additional extras, tea, coffee, sugar, salt & pepper, ice in freezer (& Prosecco!) + a panettone. Comfortable lounge with large TV & several games. Bedrooms had very comfortable king size beds & beautifully thick curtains. Excellent bathrooms. Extremely warm apartment so well located & next to a car park so on our final day after checking out, we could still walk to the attractions.



Will stay here anytime I am in York!!

I first stayed at this property back in April of 2022, and before we left, we were planning when we could come back!! The flat is so posh, comfortable and in the best location!! If you walk out of the flat and down the street to the right, you end up at the Shambles! If you walk out to the left, you can get to Clifford's Tower, all of the shopping centers and the river! If you head slightly south, you can access an entrance to the wall! The street is quiet and the flat is clean and has any amenity you would need. The hosts are quick to respond and very friendly! We love this place and can't wait to come back!!

Beautiful boutique accommodation just 2 min walk to York centre. Close to bars and restaurants This property has everything you could need for a weekend stay. The beds are really comfy and the decoration in this apartment is outstanding Will definitely stay again!

Beautifully decorated, spacious, furnished apartment. We stayed at George Street apartment 2 which is the upstairs apartment. Secure entrance through a locked gate into a small courtyard with table and chairs, perfect for sitting outside and enjoying the weather. Through the front door into a beautiful hallway with tiled floor and a sweeping staircase up to the apartment. I was surprised at how spacious the apartment is. Two double bedrooms with one of them ensuite. Centrally located to York centre, about a 5-6 min walk to plenty of shops and bars and only 10 mins walk to the famous Betty's cafe. We arrived by train and it was a 20 min walk from the station but very easy to find. If you did want to drive there is limited on street parking which comes with a permit or opposite is a large public car park. I would definitely recommend these apartments and if I visit York again, this would be my first choice of where to stay.

A great stay in York. The apartment was in a really nice area, close to the city. Really clean, comfy stay. The arrival information was also spot on and helped us find the place easily.

very modern property in the centre of york. Beautifully decorated and proffessionally cleaned. very spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and living area. very easy self check in service with no messing around, we were able to get straigh in with the access details that we received from th letting company who were friendly and very helpful.

This place was so nice .
Location was fantastic, lovely walk into york on fossgate with lots of quirky bars and places to eat .
Rise was such a great find after York Boutiques recommendations on Instagram!

we were very happy with the location that this apartment is in it is only a 5-10 minute walk in to the city centre. Close to lots of bars and restaurants. It was cleaned to a very high standard which is very important to us. he beds were very comfy and the bedroos and living are very spacious, overall a great stay.

We were very happy with our stay here. the apartment is stunning and very spacious. we stayed for 2 nights and were very happy with the services provided. The apartment was left clean, comfortable beds and free wi-fi!
It is only a short walk in to the city centre which was very convinient for us.
Very impressed overall!

Took over both apartments for two families for our sons wedding . We know York well and knew the location was ideal for our needs .
Everything was perfect , great standard throughout.
It would be better in apartment 1 to have a bigger bed in the second bedroom even though it is quite tight for space. It is only the other room that can be split into twins …
So would be more flexible.
We had a power cut for most of our last morning - unprecedented I believe from the neighbours - but apart from no shower didn’t detract from our stay !
Boutique lets were very helpful and we appreciated slightly later check out and the Prosecco !

My family of 4 stayed in this property and we were very impressed with everything! The place was left very clean which is very important for us, The property is in a great location and only a 5-10 minute walk into York's city Centre. The interior is exremely modern and very spacious which was great for our small family. The bedrooms have lots of room in them including a very comfortable bed in both the bedrooms! The kitchen space is modern and had all the equipment we needed and the living space so comfotable and again very spacious, overall there was lots of space in the property for us.
There is a free designated parking space on the street where this property is located which we made use of.
I would reccoment this property for anyone wanting to stay in a modern clean property close to the city centre.

Having previously stayed in the Boutique apartment on the ground floor we chose one again to be the 50th birthday gift for my brother and sister in law.
The apartment is well proportioned and tastefully decorated to a very high standard. It was very clean - dishwasher tablet was provided as were a couple of washing machine tablets. An extra bin bag or two would have been useful.
The apt is situated close enough to all that York city has to offer. There are bars and restaurants in walking distance also. Tesco Express is a 5 minute walk to buy essentials, milk, bread etc.
If you’re planning a visit to York give the Boutique apartments in York a try.

I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough - spacious, luxurious & impeccably clean. Perfectly situated with it being only a very short walk to the pedestrian area of the city centre. I found York Boutique Let’s very helpful and accommodating, both with a last minute change to twin beds as well as prompt replies when 1 of our party realised they had left their mobile behind! They have arranged safe delivery of same & without any delay. A fantastic company & will definitely return!

Very well appointed and beautifully finished apartment. Ideal for us - two retired couples - because it is very comfortable, very roomy, well appointed and in a great location. Everywhere an easy walk. Adjacent car park is fine for the second car but you need to have an app installed (Ringo or whatever). We can all recommend it. Would stay again without hesitation.

This apartment was amazing, the photos did not do it any justice at all! Easy check in process and although I struggled to find it as out sat nav was broken the host was so helpful and friendly and directed us there! The property itself is very secure and really modern inside! It was immaculate on arrival as well! We would love to stay here, we have already recommended it to our friends.

This apartment is truly stunning!! Really nicely done out and well thought through. Spacious and modern. Comfortable sleeping for 6 guests. Well equipped with all appliances, hairdryers, ironing facilities etc. Parking provided which was ideal. Spotless throughout. Towels provided was great. Would love to stay here again.

This is a superb apartment, with a very high level of decoration and furnishings.
We would thoroughly recommend this to everyone viewing its details. The location is fantastic, in 2 minutes you are walking up Fossegate towards the centre past many great restaurants and bars.

We thought the apartment was stunning and in a fabulous location ,also had everything you needed in the apartment and with only a five minute walk to the minster ,lovely bars, restaurants, cafe's and shopping area. We were so lucky to have lovely weather too. I would definitely want to go back and stay again. I would definitely stay in the same apartment. I will recommending it to my family and friends for the place to stay.
