We really enjoyed our week in Wharton Lodge Cottages. The cottage was very well appointed, extremely clean and very comfortably furnished. Access to the walled garden with conservatory and sheep field added to the experience.
There is a wonderful kind of slowing that Wharton Lodge encourages (which may be reflected in the tardiness of this review; the slower vibe has stayed with me, despite the usual busyness of life taking over, once home again). At the same time it quietly invites you to explore different places and try new experiences. And there is plenty to see and do in this stunningly beautiful area. This was our second visit to Wharton Lodge and everything was as perfect as on our first visit. The cottage is immaculate with everything you could possibly need. Nicky and George were excellent hosts so friendly and helpful with nothing too much trouble. We hope to return soon. Thank you Nicky & George for a lovely 5 day break. John & Chris
