The accommodation at Wharton Lodge is always spotlessly clean and comfortably furnished with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The gardens and parkland are a joy, adding the " icing on the cake" to this lovely place. Nicky and her team make every effort to ensure that their guests have a fantastic stay which is why we keep returning.
Like many others, we were return visitors to Wharton Lodge (our 6th visit ). As always there was a warm welcome from owners Nicky and George when we arrived. Elgar cottage is spotlessly clean and very well equipped with the bonus of a welcome hamper. Visitors to all three cottages are welcome to enjoy the delights of the large walled garden - a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Nicky is always happy to help with suggestions of places to visit in the surrounding area. If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy the delights of the countryside, Wharton Lodge is highly recommended.
Grosvenor cottage is a lovely place for a break. Grosvenor is one of three cottages, part of a beautiful Georgian house set in lovely
gardens and thirteen acres of parkland which you have access to. The cottage is very well appointed, warm and relaxing and so
quiet. Everything very clean and tidy and all kitchen utensils provided to make meals. The bedroom is lovely and the bed was
so comfortable. The cottage is very tastefully decorated and had every facility to make for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
