Its all about location, location,location, hospitality and a sheer want to ensure everything is 5 * for each and everyone of their guests...... dogs treated like 5 * guests too.
From the moment we drove through the gates we knew we had made the right choice. We were welcomed by Nicky the owner who showed us around and explained all about the cottage the gardens and the surrounding area. The cottage was fabulous beautifully decorated and everything we needed for our stay. The hamper supplied had all the things you needed to start you of. Everything was spotlessly clean. The bed was so comfortable. We sat in the gardens a few times and they were immaculate such a lovely setting. Our stay at Harewood was restful and restorative! Writing this review makes me want to go back! The cottage was thoughtfully equipped, extremely comfortable and scrupulously clean. The grounds of Wharton Lodge are beautiful and we loved sitting in the incredible glasshouse and catching some sun. The location of Wharton Lodge is such that there is a myriad of places to visit and things to do - we had days out in Herefordshire and the Forest of Dean itself, but also in Shropshire and the Cotswolds.
