A fantastic and well equipped holiday cottage set in the wonderful rural county of Herefordshire. Nikki and George are excellent hosts and welcome dogs to walk in the adjoining parkland where there is a good variety of interesting trees. The walled garden with an abundant array of bulbs etc is a good place to relax with a cup of coffee and a good book. The Wharton Lodge Team make sure that you are well looked after and keep everything running smoothly.
Harewood Cottage is a wonderfully equipped cottage for a relaxing break with amazing parkland and walled garden. The snowdrops were just peeping through the grass in the adjoining parkland and daffodil bulbs just showing in the walled garden. Nicky and George are fantastic hosts and ensure all guests are well looked after as well as the dog visitors. Ross on Wye is a short drive away as well as the Royal Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley which is an AONB.
Cottage was immaculate, stylish and comfortable. Nicky made us very welcome and gave helpful advice on eating out. Walking around the garden and the estate was a daily pleasure, even in February! Location is very convenient for exploring Ross-on-Wye and district.
