This is our third time staying at Hardy’s Cottage and it didn’t disappoint. Lovely decor and quality, plus being so near everything in St Ives made this a great place to stay. Hardy’s Cottage always feels like home to us! We hope to be back.

Wonderful stay, cottage is warm and cosy, wood burning stove was a bonus. Very close to the beach, and pulling up outside was possible, ideal for unloading. Would definitely stay again. Not used Cherished Cottages before, absolutely no complaints, everything was managed in a polite and efficient manner. Perfect week away...

Hardy’s Cottage is a beautiful little house in the Downalong area and gives you all you need for a relaxing stay in St Ives. Second bedroom would benefit from a wardrobe but we managed.

We had a wonderful stay in this cosy cottage in Downalong and really enjoyed our week in St Ives. The location between the beaches is excellent and the small woodburner was a highlight in the evenings. The only downside are the beds, whose mattresses are pretty lumpy. We would like to come back.

A superb stay in Hardy's Cottage. Excellent location being just minutes from 3 beaches. The most well equipped kitchen in any cottage we've stayed in plus books and games in the lounge. The decor was stunning and such a light, bright, airy cottage. We will definitely stay again.

We returned for the second time to Hardy’s Cottage because we had a wonderful stay last year and it really didn’t disappoint. It is very comfortable and beautiful and a fab location which suits us very well as a family of four.
We didn’t have hot water on the first night but the Cherished Team were on hand and checked we were ok the next day as well. Great cottage, great service and great location.

Hardys cottage is in a lovely quiet street 2 mins from the harbour, beaches, art galleries.
Downalong is my favourite place to stay in St Ives.

We loved everything about this cottage.
The only minor thing was the three steps down, at the front of the cottage…

if you are are less mobile I wouldn’t recommend this cottage.

we where there for three weeks so we have a lot of luggage.
At first the steps seemed an issue but we soon sorted the steps out by parking in tee total street opposite to load and unload the car.
My partner went down the steps whilst I past the luggage to him.

We would stay there again if the price was right.

We go to st ives with cherished cottages numerous times a year and this was my favourite cottage.

Clean, bright, beautifully decorated , lovely artwork , Comfy chairs.

The heating was great. You could turn the radiator on in the bathroom to dry things without heating the whole cottage.

The kitchen had everything you need.

Also I would recommend booking a cottage with Cherished cottages as they have excellent customer services, so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. nothing is to much trouble for them and all the cottages we have stayed at have been lovely.

We loved staying in Hardys cottage. A lovely quaint cottage. Very well presented & catered for all of our needs. Fantastic location on the island in short walking distance of the beaches, eateries & boutique shops.

Great location, handy for town and beaches.
Nicely furnished,clean well presented.

Excellent quality welcome pack from Cherished too, most have stopped bothering these days.

We booked Hardy’s Cottage the day before we arrived, very last minute decision to pop to St Ives for the week and what fabulous service we received during booking, so easy and straightforward.
When we arrived we had no hot water, but it wasn’t a problem at all. The super friendly maintenance man was round within minutes to investigate who needed help from the plumber and electrician. He called the Cherished office and got us into a property a few doors down (which was also beautiful) to have our hot showers so we could go out to enjoy our day.
The boiler was sorted that day and we were very thankful to the whole team.
Hardy’s had the perfect bedroom for both us and our little man, he adored his bedroom and said he wanted to stay in our holiday home forever.
It was the perfect size for us, very comfortable, so near to our favourite beaches and very quiet at night time.
We would 100% book Hardy’s Cottage again.

The property is a fantastic location, it was literally a two minute walk to the beach. Storage for beach/wet things was okay, but a lock would have been good so we felt it was a little more secure. The house itself is great, we had everything we needed for our week's stay. Overall was very impressed, and would certainly consider returning in the future.
