We had a wonderful week, fantastic property which has been beautifully furnished and has excellent facilities. Stunning location, the perfect place to stay if you like to people watch. Have already recommended to family & friends. We will be back again next year.
very good, hope to go back to stay again. xxx xxxx xxxxx ????? xxxxx qqqqqq. nnn mmmm uuuu jjjj eeee.
Just come back from a great week in St Ives. Great weather, great accomodation, missing it already.
Having completed 7 hours of driving, it was an absolute relief not to mention a breath of fresh air to open the door to a beautifully decorated house. From top to bottom it had everything we needed with magnificent views of St Ives in all its glory. Our family loved it all and will surely be visiting again. Do check out St Michael's Mount and the Eden Project amongst some of the places we visited during our stay. Overall it was a fantastic experience.
We have stayed at a few Cherished properties over the years and none have let us down including West Coast House - great location very close to the beach, restaurants as well as the Tate Gallery. Great views over Porthmeor and Clodgy from the house which itself was of a very high standard both decor & furniture wise, we will be returning!
Once again a wonderful experience with Cherished Cottages. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the cottage is aptly named, it was Happy Days spent. Thank you
This is a great house. Great quality throughout and a perfect location - a short walk to beaches and restaurants but off the main drag, peaceful and with a perfect view of the harbour and the coast.
The location is brilliant and very central to most area in St Ives, it has a very good garden area with the hot tub located excellently. The rooms are in excellent condition and the appliances are all in fantastic condition. Cannot think of any negatives at all for the property. Cherished Cottages Ltd (booking agents) were also fantastic throughout the stay and were always available for making prior arrangements for our stay, I would definitely recommend them too!
This was our 3rd visit to Seascape, 3 generations all enjoying the lovely house, views and location. The house is beautifully furnished and equipped and works well for the different age groups as we can spread ourselves out rather than all being in one open plan space. Being so close to Porthmeor beach and the shops is a huge advantage, as is the fact we can park the cars and forget about them for a week. The small boys loved playing with the toys and our 12 year old granddaughter made good use of the kitchen as she loves baking. Seascape really does feel like home!
Red Sails is the perfect holiday cottage in St Ives.We had a really lovely week.Quite quickly we became part of a chatty community . Excellent location.Very central and near to shops and restaurants. Bright and minimal inside.Easy to keep tidy. Lovely towels and bedlinen.Really comfortable beds. The kitchen is big has everything you need. Its really well thought out. We had one thought that a second sofa in the sitting room would work better for comfort than the chairs.
Everything was perfect. The view was breathtaking at every time of day or night. The rooms were all sparkling clean and thoughtfully decorated to reflect Cornwall and St. Ives. Every amenity was considered and provided. The welcome hamper was an absolute treat! Even the perfect weather was arranged for us ;) Well done. Wish we could have stayed all summer long. Thank you!!!!
We have just returned from a lovely week's stay in Rock House situated in the beautiful St Ives. The property was very well appointed and suited our party of 8 very well. Lots of bathrooms and parking for two cars which is a real bonus in St Ives. I would definitely recommend the property and felt very impressed with Cherished Cottages. All our interactions with them were first rate - we were dealt with quickly and effectively and also in a friendly manner. St Ives is such a lovely place to stay - three amazing beaches, lots of places to eat and quaint lanes to wander round as well as museums ...more
Lovely, clean and comfortable holiday home. The photographs don't do this property justice as it was much more spacious than we thought. The views from the house are amazing and it was great to make use of the binoculars. Everything was provided to make our stay fabulous. The property is situated in a quiet part of St Ives which suited us and being able to park right outside was an added bonus. It was only a 10 minute walk down to the town and the steep hill back helped to walk off a fair few cream teas! We took our dog with us, and although there is no enclosed garden, there is a lovely...more
We loved everything about this property but by far the best thing was the location. Information provided on local area was fantastic. Sea, sand and surf on your doorstep, whats not to like! The property had everything we needed including parking which we quickly realised was a must have! Loved the welcome bag and goodies and we cant wait to come back and stay again.
Everything about Mariners is fantastic and it is clear whoever renovated it and looks after it. Wants to make sure it has the qualities of a top notch home. I’ve never been in a house that has everything you need to the extent that this house does. We loved it and will be back!
Westholme is ideally situated just above Porthmeor beach with wonderful views. The bedrooms are all of good size and comfortable for eight adults. The total area is also young child friendly with large open area downstairs and the upstairs lounge. The property exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back. Highly recommended
Excellently situated well equipped apartment with a superb view. Comfy beds, clean and everything you need throughout your stay. Lovely touches like fresh flowers and a Cornish goodie bag. Will definitely book either this or another property with Cherished Cottages.
One of the best views i have ever seen in 57 years on this earth, open the by folding doors in the lounge and you have a panoramic view of the sea, the beach is directly below you. The colours are unbelievable, we saw two lots of dolphins, diving flocks of birds and seals nearly every day. You will sit in the lounge with a drink, you don’t need to go anywhere. Don’t forget to take a set of binoculars. The master bedroom has stunning views as does the bunk room. Lovely house, downstairs wet room- could not fault our stay, will be going back.
Everything great, as expected except the mattresses in the ground floor en-suite twin bedroom. They needed turning or something as they were very soft on the outer side, probably because people sitting on that side. It was like sleeping on a slope, nearly fell out a few times.. Otherwise very good stay.
We have been to 20 piazza a fair number of times and we really do love it there. The location is second to none. We just had a couple of frustrations this year which was unusual. My four year old sustained a pretty serious burn only a few minutes of entering the property. She needed the toilet so we sent her down stairs to use the family bathroom whilst we brought the bags in (which we were comfortable doing as we have stayed there a number of times). In reaching for the towel the radiator was so hot that as soon as her skin touched it it burnt all the way down her front (we had come from the ...more
A lovely cottage. Very nicely furnished and well equipped with lots of lovely small touches. In a good location for the beaches. Highly recommended.
We had a lovely holiday in this fantastic apartment. Very spacious and clean with everything you need. What a view! Many thanks.
Beautifully clean, pretty cottage in the best part of town- within easy strolling of beaches and eating places. We loved the welcome hamper and even the dog was not forgotten. Every time we came in or out of the front door, we were met with envious glances from tourists. The cottage itself was exactly as the photos show- fairly small but very well-appointed with everything we needed to feel comfortable and relaxed.
Lovely property in the heart of st ives, ideal for beaches, eating & car parks !! Clean & tidy with all the things required for a relaxing holiday Only downside is amount of traffic & occasional noise at night
Lovely house - great location for central St Ives. Only gripes were pillows would have been lovely to be feather as opposed to foam and bottom bed sheet too small for master bed and kept coming off. All in all would consider going back as really comfortable, nicely furnished and well kept house in great location.
Tinhay has been stylishly and thoughtfully put together making it feel extremely comfortable, special and welcoming. The garden is also lovely - small but sheltered and with a lovely table and chairs for eating al fresco. Cherished left us an extremely generous bag of Cornish goodies which is so often absent in other properties as well as ensuring the basics like loo roll and dishwasher tabs were provided. Small things that make a big difference. Tinhay will definitely be our first choice for any future visits.
Second stay at the Tide House. Love the location, ideal for looking after the dog in summer, yards from the dog beach and the island for evening walks. 4 good bedrooms, very comfortable for a family of 6. Handy boot room with rear access for surf stuff. Enclosed yard for the dog to get some air. Creaky floorboards throughout so moving on the 2nd floor lounge or bedroom wakes anyone sleeping below. Be careful where the kids sleep. Also the top bedroom is open plan mezzanine to the second lounge. An gets very very hot in summer
Great location, lovely house however if you have more than one car (which two families of four usually do) you have to pay extra for car parking.
Wonderful location and beautiful cottage but 2 upstairs bedrooms have extremely steep stair access which made it unsafe for our children to sleep up there. Would recommend the facilities, cottage and location but not for children.
Lovely little cottage - the living area was a great size and comfortable the kitchen was spacious we did have some problems with the dishwasher and micro wave but nothing that would spoil the stay. I like the little hamper that was left for us! Downstairs the bedroom area was quirky, the master bedroom was small and an awkward shape so difficult to furnish I think, to many bits of furniture I removed one table to move the shelf/hanging unit so I could get around the bed, the bed was comfy though also the door wouldn’t open very far before hitting the bed (the door needs to open into the hallw...more
Shower tiles in both bathrooms needed a good clean and bleaching low down. Debris (which our dog kept retrieving) from under furniture so obviously settee/chair had not be moved and vacuumed. Loved the welcome package and flowers - lovely touch
What a great apartment, beautifully furnished and well equipped kitchen. Nice and quiet location and with the most fantastic views and stunning sunsets; you don't want to leave the place. The communications before our stay was excellent and very accommodating. Walking distance to wherever you would want to go in St Ives. We are definitely returning to this apartment soon.
This cottage is perfectly placed for the best beach in St Ives...Perfect Porthmeor. Amazing sunsets!
