Our now fourth (I think!) stay at Seaside house, which never disappoints. A comfortable home for a week for our family and dog. We always love staying here for our winter Cornwall break.

A few walls are starting to look a but tired (scuffed) which is inevitable and a few wobbly shower trays- which is why we have scored a 4 for condition.

Our two young children also missed the Christmas tree this year!

All in all a wonderful stay - thank you once again ☺️

Lovely stay at Seaside House. Very spacious for our family of 5 adults and one dog. Decorated and furnished to a high standard. Great to have 2 parking spaces. The car parking space at the house can fit a Ford Fiesta. Central to the beach, shops and restaurants. Will book again.

We had another amazing stay at Seaside House as a family of 6, with 3 generations. It's a fantastic property in a great location and the 2 parking spaces are a real bonus. We loved our 3rd stay there and have booked for next year. St Ives is truly a beautiful place and our family never tires of it.

We had a lovely stay, everything was clean and had all we needed. Location was great for porthmeor beach and you can see the harbour from the bedrooms.
Comfy accommodation.
Only criticism is the house stated parking for 2 cars. The parking space would not fit our car. You could probably only get a mini or little smart car on there. We ended up having to pay £76 in the car park.
The loft bedroom had a bath but we could’ve benefited from a shower attachment as not easy to wash hair.
We would love to stay here again

We all had a lovely holiday at Seaside House. The house has everything you need for a self catering holiday. The parking is a bonus in St Ives, although we chose not to use the parking space at the house preferring to store the beach trolley etc & wetsuits in the space. The space is suitable for a small car. Other parking spot short walk away. Situated in Downalong it’s a short walk to the harbour, Bamaluz, Porthgwidden & Porthmeor beaches. Good restaurants also nearby.

We have just spent a wonderful week at Seaside House - our 3rd stay here. There were 6 adults and our 2 granddaughters a 2 year old and an 11 month old. The house itself never disappoints. The location is ideal for the beach and the town and 2 parking spaces invaluable!

The service as ever from Cherished Cottages was first rate. We have already booked for next year.

Our third time staying at seaside house and it never disappoints. The perfect size for our family and dog and the car parking space is a god-send for trips out and about. House was clean and the hamper was a lovely addition -with a few extra bits for our dog and toddler.

The only recommendation I could possibly make -as a Christmas lover- is that the Christmas tree could have been a bit more impressive for the size and price of Seaside house- to do it justice!

We are looking forward to staying again next year ☺️

The house was warm, clean and comfortable. It had everything you could possible need - including a garage area !!! so great for storing surf boards etc.
The only thing I would say is that there isn't enough sofa room for 8 people if everyone is in in the evening, but that is a small price to pay for a lovely house, in a great position so close to everything.
We would return to the property.

Loved it, what can I say its suitable for the whole family,. A couple of mattress toppers would be beneficial for us old folk, we found the bed a bit hard compared to what we are used to, but this is not a negative, we are used to something much softer, helps are aching bones.

Lovely house in very convenient location close to St Ives shops, restaurants, harbour and beaches. Very well equipped kitchen and house very clean and well furnished. Parking for two cars, one permit parking in a nearby car park and one a small space at the rear of the house for a smaller car. This definitely a bonus as parking limited in the centre of St Ives. We managed to park our BMW X3 in the space behind the house but it took two people to manoeuvre it into position and the space was tight. Booking of the house was easy and the letting agents efficient and helpful. Only negatives were the settee in the lounge and the pillows lacked a little comfort, everything else very good.

We have just had a second holiday in the very lovely Seaside House. Perfectly situated in St Ives. We have already booked again for next year. Would thoroughly recommend to a family - there were 6 adults and a 14 month old baby in our party.

Our family of 5 adults had a very comfortable stay in Seaside House. Beds comfy.
Kitchen facilities brilliant , lots of equipment.
Great location to the shops and beaches.
Only negatives are the seagulls (but nothing you can do about them) and the car parking space behind the house only suitable for a small car. Thankfully the permit space is literally around the corner. House is located on one of the very narrow streets in St Ives, quite difficult for access if you drive a large car.
Highly recommend the Mermaid Inn at the top of the street for food .

Fully equipped, clean, tidy and spacious, our party was 4 adults and a dog. Ideal spot with the bonus of parking for 2 cars.
Lovely touches of a goodie bag and dog treats.

Warm, cosy and a fully stocked kitchen with plates and cutlery (once you find it!!). Glasses, mugs all a plenty.

We had a fantastic week at Seaside House as a family of 7 - the youngest our little 5 month old granddaughter. The house is well equipped and beautifully presented. We have stayed in many holiday homes in St Ives over the last 35 years and this is by far one of the best. We have already rebooked for a week next year.

We've had many holidays in St Ives and Seaside House is one of the best properties we've had the pleasure of staying in. The bonus of parking for 2 cars is really important due to the difficulty in parking in the summer months. The location is first class, just a few steps away from the harbour. We had 4 glorious days on the harbour beach and have already booked for next year. First class holiday.

Well Seaside House was worth the wait..... after 2 x cancelled trips due to Covid it was definitely 3rd time lucky for us.

Seaside House had all the amenities you could wish for as well as being beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean.

Having the 2 x parking spaces was a amazing bonus especially in St Ives where parking is a premium. We were a hop, skip and a jump from the sea.....the most perfect location.

All the staff I had contact with at Cherished Cottages were so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be booking with you again.

A fabulous, well equipped , light and spacious house, in the best location possible. A short cut through a little walk way , very steep however , leads you to the harbour in one minute amazing Dog friendly too and well equipped. Difficult to beat. We will be back.

The moment you arrive at your accommodation can set the mood for the whole week.
We were not disappointed and felt relaxed from the moment we arrived.
Check in was seamless and there was a nice welcoming pack awaiting us, which is always useful.
The accommodation was very clean and well presented with everything being able to be used easily.
The location was absolutely perfect and was central to everything we did.
Information on things to do and restaurant's to frequent was also very useful.
All communication with Christine was exceptional and we have already booked to go back next year.

We are going to come back for certain. Very well stocked property, the best location to get around St Ives and for the beaches. Parking space not for a larger car but permit space is very close. Property very warm in winter. Cherished great to deal with too

Seaside House exceeded all expectations for our family trip in January. The house was spotless on arrival and the thoughtful welcome pack was a perfect introduction to local produce. We loved the position between the beach and the old town which suited our mixed age group very well. The house is super comfortable with plenty of room for competitive board games and a great dining area for family meals. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bedrooms are luxurious and just the thing after a day on the cliffs birdwatching or an afternoon in the surf. The parking spaces were also helpful alleviating the anxiety of trying to find a spot. Thank you - we'll be back !

It’s the first time we have stayed in Seaside House having walked by it many times and admired it. Perfect location and perfect cottage, very nicely decorated and very well equipped with everything you need. We have been coming back to Seaside House now for 10 years. For the Downalong area this is a substantial sized house just a few steps from the harbour and a nearly level walk into town so suitable for all ages. The house is excellently furnished and equipped and we love the open plan ground floor with the staircase separating the lounge and dining areas. The house has parking for two cars (one small) which is a huge bonus in St Ives. The Cherished team are always really friendly and professional and on hand if required. As said we have been booking Seaside House for years and recommend the house to family and friends requiring a large house, our family have already booked to return next year.

We had such a lovely week staying here . The house was so smart, well equipped & perfectly located for town, beaches restaurants etc
We had lots of fun & were lucky to have sunny days for making sandcastles on the beach :) We have used cherished twice now & thoroughly recommend them for their high standard of properties & excellent friendly customer service

Seaside house was just perfect.

The downstairs space was so well planned and was very spacious.

We had a dog with us and it was so good for that, little courtyard safety fence at the front and garage style space at the back so we could shower off the sand.

Really high quality interior and fittings and the parking space is located very near the property.

We will definitely return!

Probably one of the most beautiful accommodations we have had the pleasure to stay in on any of our holidays and we have been to many places. Recently refurbished so everything was like new. All of the rooms were attractive with quality furnishings. Well appointed with most of what you would need or want. There are 3 floors so plenty of room to spread out or find a private spot to relax. We did find the lack of recycling frustrating and we wished the holiday company had taken care of this.

Great location on a quiet street. A parking space for a small car is a bonus.

We highly recommend it.

However, we have a fab refuse removal guy, who does do all our recycling for all of our cottages, so please rest assured that here at Cherished we are committed to recycling. Tim & The Girls.

What a wonderful week. What a beautiful house in a lovely location. Simply perfect. Stunningly decorated and equipped. We could not have wished for anything else... fabulous memories.

This was our second visit to Seaside House and our first since it’s refurbishment earlier this year. The house was indeed beautiful a number of years ago but it’s truly stunning now. We felt at home as soon as we arrived and loved the whitewashed walls, the well designed bathrooms using high quality brands, the great artwork, the comfortable beds and crisp linens and well kitted out kitchen. A truly fabulous house ideal for a larger family.
The house is located in the Downalong area of St Ives and is set in the best part of town close to the Harbour Beach and Porthmeor. A great convenience shop, Norway Stores, is just a few minutes walk away ( ideal for those early morning croissants and newspapers ) and the great restaurants of St Ives ( Porthminster Beach Cafe for example )are within walking distance.
To guarantee it’s 5 star rating the house has its own car park space at the back of the house ideal for a smaller car and an additional cat park a few minutes walk away.
The team at Cherished Cottages were a pleasure to deal with. The arrival instructions were clear and concise and the welcome hamper much appreciated.

Everything from start to finish was fantastic, lovely house very well maintained throughout, modern fixtures and fittings, very comfortable sofa and beds, We had a great week in St Ives, very mixed weather which gave us the opportunity to see the changing seas. Would recommend this property to everyone.

We all really love St Ives and have been visiting annually for many, many years, staying in a variety of hotels and self catering houses and apartments. Seaside House is by far the nicest property that we have stayed in and it suits our large family well. In fact we are so pleased with it that we have already booked it again for next October half term. A great town, an excellent location, a super property and a fab time was had by all of us. Thank you.

Our second stay in this property. Again we could not fault it and we will certainly stay again in the future. Our only preference would be to stay Saturday to Saturday. We travel 350 miles in each direction and this would be considerably easier on Saturdays rather than battle the traffic on the M5 and M6 on Fridays. Other than that - perfect!

Lovely house - great location for central St Ives.
Only gripes were pillows would have been lovely to be feather as opposed to foam and bottom bed sheet too small for master bed and kept coming off.
All in all would consider going back as really comfortable, nicely furnished and well kept house in great location.

A wonderful location and the property has been restored to a very high standard and we enjoyed staying in it. However for my taste, I would have liked a bit more of its original St. Ives character retained. For our holiday next year we are returning to a property which is very close to Seaside House . It sleeps ten and is costs considerably less that Seaside House. Although convenient, I don't think that the parking provided with Seaside House warrants the difference in price.
