We stayed at Buntings Lodge the night before our wedding and a couple of nights after. It is beautifully equipped with everything that you could possibly need and was an amazing base for us for our wedding at Hestercombe. We loved the hot tub! Chris and Suzanne went above and beyond, and Chris driving myself and my daughter as bride and bridesmaid in their old blue beetle car to Hestercombe was a lovely touch. Would thoroughly recommend!
My five friends had never stayed at Mill Meadow before. They were blown away with the quality of the accommodation, its tranquil location, despite being 8 minutes from Taunton centre, glorious walks and a superb local pub. Not one complaint we had beautiful sunshine and thoroughly enjoyed our quality time together. Many thanks yet again the wellbeing bucket is full.
Having visited 5 times over the last 13 years I think we can safely say we have tried and tested Mill Meadiw thoroughly... and have never been disappointed. From a dream, through a well executed strategy and plan Chris and Suzanne have created a beautiful holiday destination. Their attention to detail, commitment to an eco friendly environment and sympathetic ability to be always on hand to help and yet never intrusive is just perfect. Goldcrest Lodge was just perfect, warm, cosy, and with everything we needed. With very good kitchen, and large shower room. Just right for our visit to my Mum in Taunton. The covered porch was just right for stepping outside, with chairs and a table. We had to cancel our originally booking, due to illness, so we were very pleased to be able to move the dates to the following week, all sorted without any fuss…and we were very grateful to Suzanne who organised everything. Our second stay at Mill Meadow. Kingfisher is in a perfect spot and is a bright, comfortable, sunny lodge. We managed to sit on the decking in the autumn sunshine most days. We would certainly recommend this lodge and hope to return.
What a wonderful stay in a warm welcoming lodge at Mill Meadow. A peaceful location nestled at the foothills of the Quantocks. Spent a relaxing break walking and visiting nearby Hestercombe returning to the lodge, a log burner and inviting sauna. Looking forward to returning. Thank you to all at Mill Meadow.
Location easily found by satnav the setting was absolutely beautiful cleanliness of site and cabin was 2nd to none the hot tub ws a great feature and was used by all and thanks to Chris who maintained it twice a day Helen and Joe were very pleasant and approachable and nothing was to much bother for them and even Mia the dog was a great welcome What the cabin didn't have isn't worth mentioning even had dishwasher tablets! And we would like to thank the owner of the cabin Nick and Fiona for allowing us a fantastic holiday Thank you all
We have stayed at Mill Meadow many times over the last decade. Suzanne and Chris are consistently excellent hosts. The accommodation is always spotless and well maintained. We will be back!
nice place to stay fishing ok just need more fish to make it a great place to stay if you like fishing needs may be some f1 or crucia carp we only went here to fish it was to lots of very smell fish some nice tench but not a fishing lake , for anglers . the place it self was great will love to come back if the fishing is addressed ,,, love this place but not for angling.
Very comfortable property in a lovely quiet location close to the Quantock hills, perfect for what we required.
