Communication was absolutely amazing! They couldn’t have been more helpful. The lodge was beautiful, immaculate and had everything you could need. Very easy to find and super close to the lake, caught lots of fish too!
We booked Woodpecker as a group of six adults. The lodge was spotlessly clean and comfortable with all we needed for a long weekend away. The boys enjoyed the fishing lake whilst the girls enjoyed the peace and quiet of the boys enjoying the fishing lake! Our stay was centred around the lodge we didn’t venture far as all decided it was the perfect location for us all to switch off and relax. Just returned from our second stay at Mill Meadow. A fantastic cabin among the trees in a beautiful rural setting, and a lovely lake full of wildlife just over the hedge. The cabins are homely, very comfy and have everything we needed for our stay with the village pub is a short walk away. We walked miles across the countryside, relaxed in the hot tub, ate very well from the local farm shop and sat around the BBQ late into the night. We had a 5 night stay at Flycatcher lodge with three generations of our family. The hot tub was enjoyed by our son his partner and our grandchildren. There were a couple of issues during our stay and where possible these were rectified. While we realise that the boundary hedges assure privacy they do make the lodge dark in areas, perhaps taking some height off could help. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return.
