This is a beautiful house for a family get away. There is more than enough space for all guests, the bedrooms are spacious with multiple beds in which is ideal if you have children. The bathrooms are all very spacious and there is an en-suite in most bedrooms.
All the facilities you need are available and there is a massive garden.
We couldn’t fault our stay.

9 of us stayed Fri- Mon and had a fantastic time - lots of space, absolutely everything you want or need. Great not fun and can with the lights at night. We also used the spa which was very luxurious. Lots of fun and spaces designed for groups tal ok band back g fun - everyone very very pleased

We had a great weekend celebrating a Hendo at Oak Bank Farm!
The place was perfect size for the amount of people and so very comfortable for us all, we loved having the hot tub at the house and then popping over to the spa for the afternoon! The sun even shone for us to have brekkie outside, glorious!
We got a private chef in on the Friday and the kitchen was the ideal entertaining space for this!
The girls in the offices were very helpful with any questions and very accommodating! Would highly recommend! Xx

We stayed here as a base for my daughters wedding. A lot of her family and friends stayed in the cottages on the same site. The accommodation is fabulous and everything is provided. The towelling gowns are great after the amazing hot tub. The house is massive and plenty of room to go for a quiet 5 minutes in the library or the lounge or in the games room. Could not fault this house and a massive bonus was the weather was in our favour for the wedding at the Tipis at Riley Green. Do not hesitate to book a stay.

The house was fantastic. It was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. All three generations of our family enjoyed the games room, library and hot tub. There was plenty to do for all ages in the area.

Together with some friends, we stayed at Oak Bank Farm and the cottage was amazing! The booking process was so smooth and the cottage itself was not only stunning, but perfectly clean, had all of the essentials in there for us and served the purpose (and more!). If I’m ever in the Ribble Valley again I will definitely book - couldn’t recommend it more!

We stayed at Oak Bank for my sisters hen do and the house was absolutely fantastic. The outside seating area is brilliant and the hot tub and garden were a great addition to our stay. The house itself was immaculate and the bedrooms were really lovely and very clean. The beds were also really comfy.

The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of plates, utensils, glasses etc and plastic ones available for use outside.

Would definitely recommend this house and would hope to book again in the future for a family trip.

A beautiful farm house perfectly designed and equipped for group gatherings. The large, fully equipped kitchen and dinning area are the perfect place for social gatherings. The big inviting lounge ensures nobody is left sat on the floor and there is also a sung area should you like some quiet time (not that we used it). Spacious bedrooms most with en-suites and a games room with sofas too. We hired this place for a girls weekend to celebrate a 50th birthday. Absolutely had a ball, would 100% recommend this place.

Our family group of thirteen had lots of space. Each family member found the bedrooms more than adequate. All the rooms were used. The library was useful for setting up a jigsaw that was brought half-made in a carrier. The sitting room was big and very comfortable and the children and grandchildren played the game hôtel there three times during our stay. It was Easter and the weather was sunny. The hot tub was enjoyed. A football goal was erected and there was lots of space to play. The family ran an Easter egg hunt and an egg and spoon race in the garden. The kitchen was well equipped. But a separate microwave would have been useful. The coffee machine worked well and having a cafetière was great. Some of us did two five mile walks straight from the house, which was a bonus. The voucher suppled for 10% off at The White Bull was not recognised as it had changed hands.

14 of us stayed here to celebrate a 60th birthday. Fabulous house, facilities, surroundings. John was so helpful and welcoming.We hired the full spa for an afternoon session, it was brilliant and so worth the money. Would definitely come again.

We booked Oak Bank Farm to celebrate the 40th birthday of my husband and his twin sister. We were greeted with a beautiful house with all the amenities we needed and more. We enjoyed exclusive use of the spa on Saturday afternoon which we all agreed was beautiful. And on Saturday night we had some extra friends and family join us for a few hours to celebrate - RVH were brilliant in helping us plan local caterers / entertainment etc. All in all an excellent weekend. Thank you - we’ll be back….again!

We loved our stay at Oak Bank Farm and the new Hidden Lodge spa was a wonderful surprise extra (they only finished building it a month before our visit). The owners are very friendly and welcoming, the village pubs were great and we really enjoyed our walks nearby, especially up to the trig point, thank you! I’m sure we’ll come back again this year

We booked Oak Bank Farm for our family Xmas gathering and had an amazing time, 22nd to 27th December. The house was lovely & clean, the kitchen had everything you would need to cook for 14. Lots of space for everyone and additions of library, games in the cupboard and games room on the top floor. Would definitely recommend for a group gathering. Close to Ribchester village which has a couple of lovely pubs.

Had a fantastic 3 night stay at Oak Bank Farm. Property was luxurious, clean and everything worked perfectly. Really enjoyed the use of the hot tub and games room! Bedrooms were very comfortable and the living room perfect for party games. Must recommend the local area, with walks down the Ribble Valley, the White Bull pub in the village which provided excellent food and beer, and the snug wine bar and nearby cafe down the road. Perfect!

This was a girlie weekend away, fourteen of us and our second visit to Oak Bank Farm. Nothing could be faulted from arriving to departing, amazing visit, just as it was the year before. We would all highly recommend it, so much so that we've already booked our third stay next year.

On arrival property was all clean and prepared. Nice and warm too . Enough towels / bathrobes etc provided . Enough parking for our many guests and cars who came from different areas of the country.
Just a few recommendations.:
Freezer in main kitchen very iced up and needs defrosting . To try to allow some privacy at front kitchen windows - tried to close blinds !!! Not easy, very heavy and problematic !! Think needs an easier / trouble free option.
On arrival at 4- the hot tub was COLD - so we had to turn it up a lot to warm in preparation for guests to use early on . Had we not noticed it …may not have been warm enough ??

My son, daughter, my husband and I (three families) stayed in Oak Bank Farm prior and post my younger son’s wedding celebrations at Mitton Hall. He stayed with his groomsmen in Waddow cottage. The accommodation was perfect, plenty of space for four grandchildren to run around and for the adults to get ready. The hot tub was welcome and provided relaxation. We were able to have family meals together sitting at the long table in the open plan kitchen/dining area.

Bathrooms were stunning. Garden was spacious. There was a car charger which was brilliant as two of us have fully electric cars.

With fourteen people ranging in age from 70 to 5, the property proved to have valuable space to get away from it all and have some peace and quiet. I'd say this was a very significant part of what made the property so suitable for us. Also the very spacious kitchen and and eating area made for a relaxing time, with plenty of space to move around each other. The hot tub proved to be popular too.

We enjoyed a lovely week away with family (13 of us in total). The house was well equipped and comfortable. It was great having such a large dining table as it meant we could all eat together. I stayed in Oak Bank Farm with a group of friends from my walking group based in London who did not know the Ribble Valley. We had fabulous week. The house was extremely spacious and comfortable. Wonderful weather allowed us to make full use of the large well equipped kitchen to cook together, and eat outside every night. The bedrooms were large and comfortable and the outdoor setting was very green and quiet. In a hot week, it was a particular bonus to enjoy the hot tub after a day walking in the beautiful Ribble Valley.

Thank you for a fantastic stay. We had 13 staying for a hen party and were very comfortable. The owner showed us around when we arrived and the house was spotlessly clean. The kitchen had everything we needed for the weekend and we were able to get a supermarket delivery easily. The hot tub was lovely and maintained throughout. Very good communication in booking this venue with all my queries responded to very quickly - thank you!

Thank you for a brilliant stay at Oak Bank Farm. The property is really spacious with plenty of room for everyone. The property is in a good state of repair and was clean. The Ribble Valley Holiday Homes team were great and a joy to communicate with.
The suggested improvements to make the stay even better would be: provide and extra oven - one oven for 14 people makes cooking for the masses difficult; more hot water capacity; bigger TV in the lounge; full size pool table.
I would recommend this property to anyone planning a large family or friend get together.

Had a super christmas week, 11 of us, 2 children, 3 teenagers and 6 adults, in the fantastic house, that does sleep 14, very spacious. Very large kitchen, just thought the ovens were far too small, when we had massive turkey to cook and only just fit in the oven, I think 14 people would struggle, and needs new knives for carving. But plenty of crockery and serving dishes etc., The lounge very spacious, but the sofas are old and very uncomfortable. The bedrooms are spacious and comfy beds, our bathroom was small and like a wetroom wereby when taking a shower everything got wet, floor, toilet etc., but a quick wipe round and all was dry.The location is good with a short walk into the village and a couple of nice pubs. Apart from those small complaints everything else was very good

Due to an emergency our stay was changed to 2 cottages next door to each other
They were amazing - everything is spotless and very well equipped.
The open plan meant everyone can be together and enjoy a wonderful social time for my husband's 60th.
The only suggestion we have is the TV remote needs replacing as the 'ok' button is very temperamental.
We have stayed in a large amount of holiday homes and cottages, and we all agreed this was by far the best

What a stunning property this is. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, everyone just smiled! It's a fantastic location, beautiful setting. The hot tub is a fabulous bonus to this cottage. Very impressed with the heating throughout the property. We could not fault it. Wonderful comfortable beds, loads of space...13 of us stayed and never felt on top of each other. We had Chef in my Kitchen to come over to cook us a meal on Saturday night...highly recommended All in all a fantastic weekend, thank you!

Oak Bank Farm is beautiful, it is spacious indoors/out and privately set back. The house was used for a family hen party and was ideal for the occasion, as some people liked down time whilst others did not. The house catered for all. The home is finished to a high standard and feels very spacious and airy. The large kitchen island was very popular amongst ourselves for a morning cuppa and catch up.
The thing we felt let the property down was the management company. At the end of the stay, you are told you have to strip all beds/pillows and pack them into Ikea bags, as well as towels and bath robes. This is apparently due to Covid regulations. Many of us have stayed in self catering venues during and after Covid and never been asked to do this.
Whilst packing our belongings a guests shoe fell out the car and got left behind. The girls kindly rang us 45 mins into our return journey and offered to post the shoe.
A couple of days later we received an email from the management team asking for the address to send the shoe to, she confirmed there would be an admin charge on top of the postal fee. Postal fee, I absolutely agree to charge us, however when I questioned the admin fee, she advised this was to cover the time of an employee writing out the envelope and doing admin work to send the item back! The attitude in the emails was not great.
We had left a comment in their feedback book praising the house with a little suggestion of offering more toilet rolls, clean cloths, tea towels. On the back of the email thread for sending the shoe back, they brought up our feedback. The email came over as quite defensive advising this was all confirmed in the information pack before we arrive re toilet rolls. If they do not want feedback, I do not understand why they ask for it.
The house, I cannot fault, it was and truly is an amazing home. Ideal for big parties wanting to sit back, relax and spend some quality time together. It is just a shame the management team looking after the bookings, the maintenance of the home and after care are not the same calibre.

This is the 2nd time we’ve used ribble valley holidays and once again the house, the staff and surrounding area were fantastic. The house contains everything that you need for a big group. Kids spent hours in the hot tub which is regularly checked by the owner. Comfy beds for a good nights sleep as well. We’re planning a return visit for the 3rd year running.

This huge house is gorgeous. Every room was modern, meticulously clean and attractive, with beautiful furnishing. The living space downstairs was huge and perfect for a large group to spend time. The hot tub and garden were fabulous, we was the outside seating area (which comfortably seated 14 people). Very friendly and helpful team. Quiet and picturesque location. We loved our stay.

Where do I even begin! 14 of us stayed at Oak Bank farm for a hen weekend and we honestly had the best time. The house was everything we could have imagined. It was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a short or long stay. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into these holiday homes, we really did feel right at home as soon as we stepped through the doors.

The location is great as well, close enough to local amenities for shopping or Preston for a night out but away from the hustle and bustle in a lush countryside picturesque location. We went for afternoon tea at Mitton Hall which was just a 10 minute drive away.

I absolutely recommend staying here if you’re thinking about it just do it :)

Myself and a group of friends had the pleasure of staying in Oak Bank Farm for the weekend. The house is just stunning and set in a peaceful location without being too remote. Nothing was too much effort for the owners.

I was tasked with finding a house for a hen weekend, close to home & big enough for 14 people with a hot tub.

I stumbled across Oak Bank Farm & I’m so pleased I did, everything was so easy from booking it, everything that was included, the little welcome pack & all the information that was sent.

The house itself is lovely, with lots of bedrooms & bathrooms, ample parking & a lovely view.

We were a little noisy on the first night (sorry!) but the owners sent a very nicely worded, polite message asking us to quieten down, which we did.

I would highly recommend & I’ll definitely book this house again in the future!

Oak bank farm….we waited two years for our annual holiday together and we were so lucky to not only all still be here to take this trip together but to spend this trip here at Oak Bank Farm. From the minute we pulled into the drive, our 9 cars had ample room and felt secure parking right outside the front door. We unpacked and had a welcome package that included things to start us off on our holiday. This was such a caring touch and it truly showed how much the owners cared about the property. I believed members of our party meet the owners throughout the stay and they all remarked how lovely and genuine they were. Oak Banks facilities were amazing, the huge dining room table acted like our hub where we were able to create some life long memories and get a deeper understanding. All of our party enjoyed the hot tub, a welcome added bonus to the magic that oak bank farm holds. The patio furniture outside, ample room for the whole party especially with our first day being such great weather, it was nice to sit and bake in the sun. Ribble Valley was such a secret treasure for us to find and Oak Bank Farm truly made it special. I couldn’t have asked for anything better as this has been truly fantastic. The garden with the pond was an unexpected bonus as most of our party enjoyed watching the wildlife and even managed to see a newt. Oak bank farm was immaculate with two of our party previously working at Alton Towers Hotel, they were impressed and satisfied at how clean Oak Bank Farm was. This house truly has everything you need, we were a group of friends/couples and it accommodated us fantastically so. Thank you Oak Bank Farm and the team that work tireless to make it all possible.

We have just returned from an Easter break at Oak Bank Farm. We were an extended family of 14 and we all had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and well furnished except for the living room which lets the property down. The settees are very old and worn and not comfortable at all. My scores would have been all excellent except for this problem . Time for them to be replaced I suggest. We were lucky because the weather was in our favour and we were able to make use of the lovely new rattan outdoor furniture.

We have just returned from a weekend stay at Oak Bank Farm (13 ladies) and we have all had the best time! The house is lovely and spacious and the beds are super comfy. Just returned from a lovely weekend away at Oak Ban Farm. The house is lovely, clean and well maintained. The bedrooms rooms are very spacious. The addition of the hot tub makes it a winter treat. The bathrobes came in very handy. Thanks for helping us make memories we will keep forever.

We stayed at Oak Bank Farm in Ribchester, the house had the wow factor from the moment you pulled up.
There was ample parking on offer, a gorgeous staircase, beautiful large but cosy kitchen, a gorgeous grand piano that I had a lovely time playing and entertaining with throughout our stay.
The hot tub was under a gazebo type structure and overlooked the grounds and the pond, with the sun shining on it it was a lovely relaxing atmosphere.
I would definitely return in the future to this or one of the other destinations.
The customer service was excellent and they were able to help with some of my requests in a very timely manner.

We had a great stay at Oak Bank Farm! We are a group of 11 friends and we had plenty of space and were very comfortable. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed. There were some good places to eat close by and a small shop in the village for picking up essentials. Even though it rained our whole trip we had plenty to keep us entertained at the house.

We were blown away by this house and loved every moment we spent there. All the beds were full but the house never seemed cramped at all. Wonderful location and the hot tub is just the cherry on the cake. 100% would recommend this for a large group.

Lovely, spacious accommodation with fantastic views. We were lucky to have great weather and enjoyed exploring the local area.

The beds were really comfortable and any queries were dealt with quickly, by the friendly, helpful owners. I particularly loved the well stocked kitchen, which was great for eating in. Would have loved a bigger barbecue, but it was a minor thing!

All in all really recommend it as a place to stay.

A lovely weekend the house is lovely and very practical a great place for a long relaxing weekend. The hot tub in particular was a lovely treat for everyone. The sofa in the main lounge is overdue an overhaul but remains comfortable.
Games room great fun for all . Local pubs are friendly and food at Ribchester Arms fabulous! The Manager at the White Bull was very welcoming and friendly . We are looking to book again for February in one of the properties.

We had a great stay here. 14 people and still felt spacious. Nice big lounge huge kitchen dinner and a great size garden.
The hot tub is real quality and very clean.
Only thing I would recommend is that the WiFi is checked and updated.
Will be coming back with family after Christmas
