Our most quaint and charming property, with its unusual shaped windows and exposed low beams, was once the Gate Keeper’s Lodge. Roundhouse is detached and although still very close to the indoor pool and other amenities, is a slight distance away from the other cottages, offering its guests more privacy. Roundhouse is unusual, intriguing and probably the oldest building on the estate. You enter through a small porch with stable door into an attractive open plan lounge/dining room. At the far end of the room is a beautifully appointed Shaker style kitchen and a sea view from your kitchen window. Also on the ground floor is a luxurious bathroom with corner bath and integral power shower.

In keeping with a cottage of this period, there is a narrow staircase with low beams on to a landing (taller visitors will need to lower their heads) which leads to two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed and glorious views across the valley and to the sea; the second bedroom has bunks and is therefore more suitable for children. This bedroom will also accommodate a cot and therefore Roundhouse is ideal for a family of four or five. However, its secluded location and luxury bathroom make Round House really popular out of season as a romantic getaway cottage for two.

Adjacent to the cottage, Roundhouse has its own enclosed private garden with seating and BBQ for your exclusive use.

Dogs welcome

Please ignore the lack of 5 stars across the board. We purposely choose a small, really old characterful building amongst the huge variety offered, as it suits us now, with our little dog. It is really charming, cosy and well equipped. But mind your head if you are tall! The owners, Philip and Louise are wonderful hosts. They are friendly, considerate, creative and full of ideas. They arrange evenings in the bar and create a really friendly atmosphere, drinking cocktails and playing games. We have been coming to Broomhill Manor for nearly 40 years, at different times of year with our family, and now their families. We always have a fantastic time.

Just had a wonderful few days at Broomhill Manor. Lovely friendly welcome when we arrived from Louise and Philip, who showed us to our cottage. Lots of information and maps available on surrounding area. Very good location, close to beaches, great dog walks along the coastal path. We were extremely lucky with the weather which was beautiful.
Definitely something for every generation, so much so, we are coming back in a few weeks with the rest of the family!!
Thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay here and will absolutely be back. My kids and I fell in love with the Bude sea pool, and Phillip and Louise are perfect hosts - friendly and accommodating. Horse rides were a bonus as well as Hazel at the spa and home cooked delivered meals. We played pool, swam, hot tubbed, took long country walks and ate at local pubs. The grounds are gorgeous and extensive. We can’t wait to come back!

We have been coming to Broomhill for over 30 years with family and friends. It is a different experience now, with just the two of us, but we still love it. This is our second visit to the roundhouse. We love its quaint charm, views to the sea, and privacy. It doesn’t have the best garden but there are so many places to enjoy elsewhere in the grounds. A bonus, too, to park right next to the cottage.
Personally, I adore the outdoor pool. It is high on the list of my ‘happy places’. I even swam in the Bude sea pool, this year too. Why have I wasted so many years of that? Bude has fabulous beaches. It’s a unique place with lots of varied experiences to suit all. And nearby Sandymouth is a glorious beach, especially when the tide is out.
Back at Broomhill, we enjoyed an evening in the new cocktail bar. A great addition to the facilities there.
We really would recommend the round house, Broomhill and Bude to all and everyone! Just perfect!

We’ve just spent 2 glorious weeks at Broomhill Manor. On arrival we were given a warm welcome and cream teas. The set up was perfect for our needs with lots to do and space to relax. It never felt busy even though it was booked out. My girls loved the pools (both indoor and outdoor were kept beautifully warm), the horses and games room. My husband and I loved the freedom to let them go off and play on the grounds, the cocktail bar, spa treatments and ease of access to Bude and other nearby beaches (Widemouth for surfing and Sandymouth for beach days). The owners Louise and Philip (and their lovely daughter) were so friendly making you feel at home. The Round House is an old building so there are some idiosyncrasies like low doorways and wonky floors and the outside space was set apart from the house so we didn’t really make use of it, instead opting to sit in the communal green space. We will most definitely be going back.

I stayed at The Round House with my husband and our two children aged 2 and 7. The cottage is cosy and comfortable with a welcoming feel. My son is Autistic so having this property (which is slightly set back from the others) suited us. There is plenty for children to do, with a full playroom for little ones, sandpit, trampoline and lots of space to run around. The owners are really helpful and will sort out any issues promptly. The only small downside was the bar didn’t open until 7.30pm which was a little late for us really with our youngest but we made it work! It’s a fair walk to the beach with children but a very short drive. Thanks guys for a lovely stay!

Gorgeous little cottage with period features. Everything you could need inside the fully equipped kitchen, lovely big bath and very comfy beds and pillows. Lovely views out of the bedroom windows, very close to stables and pretty little garden with picnic bench and bbq. We received a warm welcome and a nice introduction to our cottage and the manors facilities on arrival. There are lovely scones, jam and clotted cream waiting for you and a couple of tea and coffee provisions with a small jug of milk to enjoy after your long journey. Everything in the cottage is clean and tidy, however, if you are tall you will need to duck under door frames etc and there are lots of cobwebs and spiders which younger ones may not like as we found out with our little one! The place is dog friendly and although we do not have a dog, you can smell the fact they have been inside the cottage, especially when you turn the hoover on! Our little one is terrified of dogs but Philip and Louise were very understanding in this respect and called Inca away whenever she came too close! The facilities and grounds are finished to a high standard and are well maintained. The reception has a vast selection of tourist information and leaflets on things to do which we found very useful, along with board games and other fun things to borrow! The terrace and bar with cocktails was a lovely addition, as is the honesty shop and games room. Philip and Louise are wonderful hosts and the Broomhill Manor grounds are beautiful and lovingly kept. There is nothing we would change, except maybe and nicer route for the horse riding as it was through an estate and not much scope to go any faster than a couple of trots and one canter. The horses are wonderful, very safe and pleasant as are the stable team. There are lots of lovely places to visit which are not too far away and we enjoyed the peace and tranquility once back in the cottage at the end of the day. We would definitely return and recommend.

The Round House is a lovely cosy cottage on the very pretty estate of Broomhill Manor. It was very clean and comfortable and in a great position. Bude town and beaches are about a 25 minute walk from the cottage and a 15 minute walk into Poughill for a great pub called the Preston Gate where we had some wonderful food. The owners, Philip and Louise were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend.

We enjoyed a lovely stay at the Roundhouse in June’23. Philip and Louise were very friendly and helpful, and the facilities have been improved since our last stay a few years ago. We enjoyed having drinks in the Terrace bar and meeting the other guests. We are coming back in August with some of the family.

Loved every minute of our stay. The location is picture perfect, walkable down to Bude itself as well as the nearby village with a lovely pub. Facilities are amazing. Something for everyone. Although we have been coming to Broomhill Manor for many many years, this was our first stay in the cute round house. Delightful property. Gorgeous view to the sea from the main bedroom. Slight shame that the garden for this cottage is over the ‘road’ and a bit public. Prefer to be within the site really. But better than nothing. The outdoor pool has been revamped. It was dreamy in the September sunshine. Really clean and wonderfully warm.
The new owners maintain the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Thanks!
Nearby Sandymouth beach is beautiful when the tide is out: with a pleasant cafe too. Life guard cover meant I felt safe enough to swim in the sea. Twice. So exhilarating!
Broomhill Manor is the perfect location for visiting Bude. With or without children. A beautiful environment. All sorts to do for everyone and an easy walk into Bude with all that is on offer there. Lots!
Bude seems to get more dog friendly every year, which is important to us. Being able to lunch in Wroes, with the dog at our feet was great. This year we caught a delightful arts and crafts market too.
We were really lucky with the weather and had a truly fabulous break.

A great stay at Brookmill manor in the Round House.
A wonderful collection of cottages with great facilities on site and a great location.
Round house was a sweet cottage with a tiny staircase. The house itself very quirky. Probably not ideal for taller guests due to low beams etc. but we loved it.
Comfy sofa and beds and slightly away from the other cottages too.
The hosts were just wonderful. Available but not in your face if you didn’t need them. Some great activities laid on on site if you wanted to take part - pizza night on the lawn and cocktails on the terrace.
A great stay and both we and our son (9) had an amazing time.
Thank you.

We booked Round House for a week's holiday with our two grandsons the first full week in August 2022, little did we know it would be the best week's weather ever!!

We arrived to a very friendly reception from the owners and found our beautiful, quirky cottage for the next week. Kai and Jacob were quick to Don their swim shorts and find the fabulous pool which they spent many happy hours in over the next week.

Great hosts, no onerous rules just happy to share their beautiful property which offers great amenities and freedom for both children and adults alike.

Pizza night on the lawn with Pimm's, cocktails, mocktails and lots more besides, pool, table tennis, just refreshingly relaxed. Oh not to mention the horse riding, tennis courts, gym, hot tubs. Can't recommend this highly enough and what lovely people to meet too. Thank you for a great week with our boys and hope to return very soon.

Fro the moment you enter Broomhill's private drive, you feel you are entering somewhere special. When you are met by your hosts, Philip and Louise, and guided to the Round House that feeling turns into reality. Nestled into a corner, the house lives up to its name -- curvaceous, intriguing from the outside and stylish, smart yet comfortable inside. This, combined with the fabulous facilities at Broomhill make it the perfect base from which to explore the beautiful north Cornish coastline.

We had a lovely stay at the Round House, Broomhill Manor.

It is in an exceptional setting, with beautiful grounds that are available for guests to use. There are many facilities for guests that are included in the price. Although the price was quite high we didn't mind paying for such a lovely stay. The cottage we stayed in could do with a bit of redecoration which i'm sure the new owners will get around to. The owners where very friendly and always took their time to speak.

It was a short walk to Bude and also the local pub for a drink or food which was great & reasonably priced.

This was our first visit to Broomhill Manor and it certainly will not be our last.

The arrival procedure was smooth and quick with Philip and Louise giving us a very warm welcome and directions to our cottage. All communications prior to our holiday was very clear and informative which helped a great deal.
Our cottage (Round House) was clean and ready for our arrival. We have 2 large well behaved dogs that absolutely loved the cottage as well us us.

The grounds of the manor are magnificent and very well maintained. We walked the grounds a few times a day throughout our stay and our dogs loved it. Other holiday makers told us they had made a picnic up had it at the tables located around various places in the grounds near the lovely ponds.

It was a quieter than normal week (with the schools going back) so we took advantage to use the swimming pool and sauna everyday more than the usual allocated 30 mins per cottage. Everything was safe and very Covid friendly. We managed to get a full body massage in as well. The bar was open for 3 evening which gave us the opportunity to meet other holiday makers and Philip and Louise. We had 3 lovely evenings of chat which was very enjoyable.

When walking around we looked at some of the other cottages in the Manor and have already booked for next May. There are 6 cottages available for dog owners and we booked one of them that included a Swedish hot tub in the back garden.

We are not blessed with children but we were amazed at some of the safe facilities available for families which looked high quality in very safe surroundings.

All in all it was a brilliant week which was also helped with the lovely weather and how close it was to getting our dogs to the beach at Widemouth Bay.

Many thanks for Philip and Louise for a great week and we look forward to catching up next May.

We stayed at Broomhill Manor at the beginning of August with our two daughters 8 and 10. Our reservations about a the British summer weather were half realised and the weather was not fantastic but this is where Broomhill Manor comes into its own. The facilities to keep the children entertained were second to none, we swam in the well appointed indoor pool with jacuzzi, sauna and gym, the out door pool is heated so even if the weather is not hot it’s still fun in the pool. The games room, horse riding and tennis court were all used and the kids had a ball. When the sun shines Cornwall’s beaches are world class and you can drive and walk to them from Broomhill. We stayed in a beautiful little cottage that was well equipped and comfortable, it had everything to properly self-cater for a family, it was clean and welcoming, with a complimentary cream tea for us all on arrival. Our hosts Philip and Louise were always available and always charming and helpful, suggesting restaurants, beaches and day trips. This is their first year at Broomhill and they have plans to add to and enhance the facilities whilst keeping the charm of this beautiful cottages and site intact.

If you want a holiday in the UK that can deliver, whatever the weather then I can’t recommend Broomhill Manor enough, definitely 5 stars.

We've taken two months to write this review as we wanted to be sure we did it the justice it deserved.

From the booking process to checking out, everything was perfect. Once booking, the owners sent us a wealth of information and were excellent at communicating with us up until the moment we checked in. Both were on hand to welcome us upon arrival and immediately made us feel like we were at home.

Roundhouse was an absolute dream. It was perfect for the two of us and we used the extra bedroom as our storage/closet! With this being said, it would also be fine for a family with two small children. The property was well stocked with all the kitchenware we'd need, so we stayed in a few times and made lunch/dinner.

The facilities on site were everything we wanted and more. Due to COVID-19, each property had a 1 hour slot for swimming use which was managed impeccably via a Facebook group, with the tennis courts managed by an on site booking form.

Philip and Louise were always on hand should we have any questions and their hospitality, friendliness and general attitude made us feel like Broomhill Manor was our second home. Broomhill Manor sells itself, however that additional personal touch makes it a cut above the rest and we would recommend it to anyone.

We had a really lovely stay in the Roundhouse at Broomhill Manor. The new owners, who had only taken over a couple of weeks before our arrival were extremely welcoming and very keen to make us feel comfortable.
The Roundhouse is a stand alone cottage, which is charming and retains lots of its original character. It is in need of decorating, the paint work needs refreshing, the curtains and soft furnishing need an update. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable, but the bunk beds were not really suitable for our older teenager, young children would be fine. The kitchen and bathroom surfaces, oven, microwave etc were all spotless as was the BBQ. The carpets were not clean around the edges and there were quite a few bugs. The swimming pool was lovely and due to covid regs we had it to ourselves for half an hour each day. The grounds are stunning and there are lot's of activities. You can walk to Bude in about 20 mins along country lanes. Overall, this is a beautiful place and with a few small improvements it will be amazing!

We absolutely love Bude and the North Cornwall coast. And the cottages at Broomhill Manor are not only lovely - they are well equipped, clean and ready to welcome you.
Even though we stayed there just before the second ‘lock-down’ in England, which was pretty stressful for Linda and Alan as they tried to work out what the new rules might mean, they did everything they could to make our stay comfortable - whether that was the warm welcome which included a complimentary cream tea and bottle of bubbles or the friendly (and socially distanced) bar service. The dogs loved it too - quiet lanes to walk down from our doorstep, amazing beaches and coastal walks close by and not forgetting the free doggy treats when we got there!
We really needed the break and a change of scenery and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to spend that time.

We had a wonderful stay for our 3rd time. Fantastic facilities, very confident in cleanliness (Covid protocols in place), warm welcome. Strongly recommend Broomhill manor, just wish we had booked for 2 weeks. The roundhouse has lots of character and its own little garden which is lovely. Stairs not suitable for anyone with mobility problems.

Once again we have had a fabulous break here at Broomhill. This was our sixth time here. We've stayed in the Round House and Sandpiper previously and like both very much, but with one child on a school trip there were just three of us and the dog and the Round House suited us really well. It's quiet but close to site amenities and we simply love the cosy cottage with it's log burner. Broomhill never disappoints - it's calm and peaceful with beautiful gardens and we really enjoy our daily walk to Crooklets beach and in and out of Bude. Must also mention the lovely horses and ponies - it really adds to our holiday to be able to ride and the stables and horses are thriving under Jo's management. No doubt we will be back again...…………….

We stayed in the Roundhouse for May half term and had a brilliant week. We loved having the indoor and outdoor pools on site, and our girls (3 and 5) made good use of the kids play room on a couple of the wetter days, whilst the outdoor play equipment kept them busy when we had our archery lesson. Staying at Broomhill was a great base for us to get out for day trips, including cycling the Camel trail to Padstow for fish and chips, visiting Clovelly, hitting Widemouth and Sandymouth beaches sandcastles and surfing (children lying on a bodyboard in shallow water!), and of course crabbing at Summerleaze. It was a packed week for us and Alan and Linda couldn’t have been more helpful; we’d definitely stay again and recommend Broomhill for anyone wanting a stay in Cornwall.

We stayed at the round house in mid May and couldn’t have asked for a better location for our first family holiday as a family of 4. Our two year old loved exploring in the games room and the outdoor sand pit. The trampoline was also a big hit. Having access to an indoor swimming pool was also really great as it meant we could all go for a swim together giving us something to do even if it had rained. The location was excellent, a quick drive into Bude for everything you might need, close to a variety of beaches so that we could visit a different one each day and most of them dog friendly. The short walk to the local pub was also great. We all felt extremely welcome and at home including the dog. We’ll definitely be returning.

The Round House was delightful. It was fully equipped with everything you could need. I was particularly impressed with all of the ‘baby gear’ we were provided with. It was great not to have to bring all of that with us for our 6 month old baby. Packed full of character, the cottage was cosy & provided us with a great base to relax in. I especially liked the private little garden for our personal use.
The facilities on site were great; a lovely indoor pool & lots for the kids to do. I also took advantage of the onsite stables and went for a ride which I thoroughly enjoyed. The outdoor pool was yet to open as it was early May but I could see that this was also a great facility. The grounds of Broomhill were beautiful & very well kept.
Bude & various beaches are within easy reach. I highly reccommend a stay at Broomhill Manor.

Our little family of 4 had a wonderful week in the Roundhouse. We were spoilt with a cream tea on arrival which went down really well and was certainly appreciated! The location of the cottage was ideal. Just a few minutes drive to Summerleaze if you need to take body boards etc, but if you're not taking lots to the beach it's an easy 20 minute stroll there. We loved the cottage itself, it had everything we needed during our stay. Our only very slight criticism is that we would have loved a sofa in the lounge rather than chairs for a bit more comfort of an evening. The facilities on site were fantastic. The laundry was really handy. The girls loved the pool and swam every day. I treated myself to a massage with Hazel, really recommend her! The tree in in Stratton itself was really lovely - authentic and historic. We were warmly welcomed everywhere we went. Alan & Linda looked after us and were always knowledgeable, warm and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Our stay at broomhill manor was excellent. Our cottage (round house) was cosy and clean. All activities and amenities were in close proximity to cottages so the children had easy access to all games and sports. We all had a brilliant time and are likely to return next year!

This is a lovely collection of cottages with superb gardens and grounds, good swimming pool, tennis court, games room etc on site and extremely helpful but not intrusive owners who live on site.
Its a real bonus having riding stables attached with such easy access.who cater for all levels of ability.

We had a fabulous stay with children aged 6 and 10. Loads to do in the area as well as all the lovely beaches. We tried archery and canoeing which were both excellent

Can't recommend highly enough

This was the ideal place for a holiday with a toddler. Weather wise we managed to pick the worst week of the Autumn for our break but thanks to the excellent facilities at Broomhill Manor we still had a lovely time and we were all kept entertained. Our daughter (15 months at the time of our stay) loved the pool and the toddler room. The lovely grounds at Broomhill meant that we could make the most of the short glimpses of sunshine we did have as we explored our surroundings and our daughter loved visiting the horses in their paddock.

The overall facilities i.e. swimming pools and steam room (for an addtional charge) were really good, however:
- The cottage was too small for 4 people and definitely not as described online, as there is not enough comfortable seating for 4 people 3x1 armchairs does not equal 4 comfortable seats for 4 people.
- The cottage was not private but more like living in a goldfish bowl as it was next to the main road to the stables, walking route to Bude and next to both carparks, so we spent most of time with the curtains closed as the only windows overlooked either the carparks or the road to ensure a little privacy.
- We could not use the garden as it was plagued with wasps and also in shade for the majority of the day.
- There was no washerdrier in the cottage itself but you have to use a a communal set up a walk away ( this for me would reduce the rating from a five star cottage to 3 stars as I do not wish to waste my holiday going to what is essentially a launderette)
- There was no hairdryer again a minimum requirement for a 4 or 5 star cottage,
- Only 2 toilet rolls and 2 dishwasher tablets were provided for a week for 4 people, what is the cost of a toilet roll or a dishwasher tablet, this seemed tight in the extreme noting the price of the cottage.
- Some areas within the cottage needed a lick of paint especially in the bathroom which had stains on the walls.
- We couldn't use the tennis court as the rule stipulated specialist tennis shoes, my boys were most disappointed.

The saving grace was the swimming pool and the weather

We have stayed in 4 and 5* cottages all over the country for over 15 years and feel that this was the most overpriced cottage noting the issues we found.

If some simple changes were made i.e. hairdyer, more loo paper/dishwasher tablets, a small settee, trees cut away so that you can use the garden and some more honest marketing re the lack of washing machine and real location of the cottage, or the cottage priced more realistically this would make a big difference.

Linda Winstanley replied more than 1 year ago
Our aim is to make sure our Guests thoroughly enjoy their holidays and we will always go the extra mile to achieve that; therefore it is always useful to receive a review that is contrary to all other guest reviews, as it helps us question the status quo and enables us to continually improve our guest experience. There are many avenues for feedback available during your stay at Broomhill Manor with the opportunity to address any issues while you are still here. Guests find that having the owners on site at all times is a real benefit as it enables immediate resolution of simple areas of dissatisfaction. Examples include needing extra toilet roils or dishwasher tabs, gaining advice on use of appropriate tennis footwear, or receiving help to locate where in the cottage you will find the hairdryer. Our manned reception, onsite staff and use of “fix it” cards means that someone is always on hand to answer any queries straight away. Having a full time maintenance and gardening team means we can rapidly rectify any maintenance issues as they arise, or deal with things that are not to a guests liking such as marked paintwork, or foliage in a garden that needs trimming back. There is an additional opportunity in the bar each evening, where guests can talk to us to about their queries or concerns, or suggest things that would improve their holiday experience and we are very responsive to Guest feedback. Our free of charge guest laundry provides washers, dryers and washing tabs and guests appreciate the powerful commercial dryer which dries a family set of beach towels in under 30 minutes. Set at the end of a private lane and over half a mile from any main road, Broomhill Manor is in an extremely peaceful and tranquil location; Round House is at the edge of the estate on a narrow private track which leads to our private stables and is a walking route to the beach or to the local village of Poughill 10 minutes’ walk away. All our cottages consistently achieve Visit England’s 4* Gold stringent rating criteria and Round House remains one of our most popular cottages with families and couples alike. The seating in Round House of 2 armchairs and a “love seat” (small settee) is marketed as suitable for 2 adults and 2 children and is consistent with its 4 Star Gold rating.

We enjoyed our week very much and loved staying in the Roundhouse, our 6year old grandson did the pony rides a few times and would have gone every day. We all did the archery and would have happily done another day if this was available. The pools were popular with all and the only negative was that the outdoor pool had children with large inflatables and took up a lot of room in the pool. Overall we would love to retun to this lovely place and the owners were marvellous, nothing too much trouble for them.

Broomhill is a very special place. From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. Alan and Linda gave us a warm welcome and we instantly felt at home. The facilities are excellent and our 17 month old enjoyed our morning and evening strolls round the estate, visiting the stables, playground, playroom and beautiful gardens.

The pool is lovely and I can highly recommend Hazel for a pampering treatment and massage.

We also ordered meals from Nicky which were beautiful, a fantastic idea to give you some time off from cooking on holiday - especially when you've got a little one and it's not so easy to eat out in the evenings.

The Roundhouse was cool and quirky. A cosy cottage with a ton of character. You can just about see the sea sat in bed with your tea in the mornings!
It had everything you need - and we did cook a few meals, so thoroughly tested the kitchen! It was brilliant to not have to pack the car full of baby gear and turning up knowing there was a stairgate in place meant we could relax while we unpacked!

The small garden opposite is lovely, we didn't get bbq weather in May but did sit out with a glass of wine a couple of times.

There is a bridle way right opposite which is great for the pram and getting little one off for a nap.
Fantastic location for exploring Cornwall too, we fell in love with Bude and spent quite a bit of time there, can recommend a slap up meal at Life's a Beach!

Broomhill was so peaceful and homely, we will certainly be going back one day. Thank you Alan and Linda for sharing your home with us!

Had a wonderful time! Peaceful, comfortable, well located and perfect for our little family - we have an 18 month old who had a great time, as there was always something to entertain him with - trampoline, pool or play room. Great fun relaxing and having BBQs in the evening as exhausted toddler slept off day's excitement. Looking forward to coming back.

Thanks!

We had a lovely week staying in Roundhouse Cottage at Broomhill in March. We paid a bargain price and had all the facilities nearly to ourselves so were well and truly spoilt!

The customer service was exemplary, the facilities were spot on (we have never stayed anywhere with such a lovely warm pool!), the cottage was small, but full of character and the area is lovely. It was great to be able to walk into Bude and therefore we hardly used the car for the week! Our only niggle was that there didn't seem to be enough hot water in the cottage to fill the lovely corner bath, but the shower was fab so it didn't really matter!

We would love to return, but not sure we can afford the school holiday prices and we might be pushing our luck to take another week off school!

Broomhill Manor has excellent facilities - a good pool, jacuzzi, bar etc plus indoor & outdoor play areas and a stables. It is well located, only a few minutes drive from Bude & its beaches. We stayed in the Round House, a lovely old cottage, although if you are tall like me you do need to watch your head! Alan & Linda keep everything in an excellent state, and on the couple of occasions we had minor problems they were dealt with very promptly with a minimum of fuss and bother. We are already thinking of going back next year.

Broomhill Manor is beautiful. Its an Alice in Wonderland for children. For adults you have lovely pools and spa. If your a family its a great break during school holidays. For singles and couples during term time you can loose yourself in the beautiful gardens, try horse riding (Helen very accommodating). You are literally minutes from lovely walks. Only a short drive mile and a half to Bude which is breath taking. Linda and Alan that live in the lovely Manor are so down to earth and accommodating and make you feel at home. All their cottages are all lovely. I stayed in the Round House very unique as of course its Round. The interior design of each one of their cottages is unique. Bude is Beautiful but Stratton is equally a place that you will "Wish was your Home". Whether you want to relax or be very busy Broomhill Manor has it all. You will feel like a special guest at Broomhill Manor as this is how Linda and Alan make you feel. The cottages have everything you will need to "Wish this was your Home". Enjoy.

A warm welcome awaits in beautiful landscaped surroundings, a perfect place to stay for a family. Our two young boys never tired from using the swimming pools, tennis court, games room, play areas and even had a go at horse riding. Plenty to do at the cottage and plenty to do in beautiful Bude - the beaches really are as pretty as they claim!
Thank you for making our annual holiday such a memorable one.

We stayed a week at the Roundhouse at Easter and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean and cheerful, well equipped and the log burner fire was a nice bonus. We love the touches that make arriving for a week so much more convenient, washing up liquid, toilet roll, soap etc. The welcoming cream tea goes down a great too! Broomhill is a great place to stay, the grounds are beautiful, and the kids are kept entertained by the tennis court. Swimming, trampoline & horse riding activities. We had some windy weather whilst we were there but the beaches nearby are stunning whatever the weather! We will be back again........

This was our second visit to Broomhill Manor and we are currently planning a third.
Peaceful and beautiful, well located and with excellent facilities..we couldn't ask for more.
Our two young children loved the pool and two dogs slept very well after several beach walks at Black Rock in glorious sunshine.
Thank you Broomhill Team and see you soon!
