Charming cottage with beautiful views over the River Tay and hills beyond. Sleeps 6 over 3 en-suite bedrooms and is dog friendly. Lovely garden with patio areas.

We used to have a timeshare in Aberfeldy and know the area well. It was a nice experience returning after many years of absence. The weather was very mixed, but we took advantage of three visits to The Birks Cinema, which is well worth attending. We were fortunate to be in Aberfeldy when they were screening a live performance of Tosca from Covent Garden Opera.

Dunolly cottage is in a good location with a beautiful view over the river, and in good weather time spent in the lovely garden will be a bonus.

There is parking for three cars, and a shed to store any sports equipment etc, which we didn't use. The kitchen is well resourced with everything you are likely to require. The house is very cosy when the heating comes on, and it was an advantage having all of the bedrooms ensuite.

There was a wee problem with the front door which was very stiff to open, but the owner had addressed that and was awaiting a tradesman to rectify the problem.

We will certai9nly consider returning to Dunolly some time in the future.

We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay at Dunolly Cottage, Aberfeldy in the first week of September. Beautifully clean and quiet and we appreciated the warmth too, as there was a chill in the air in the evenings. Lovely garden overlooking the mighty River Tay and really convenient for walking into town, where we found some nice cafes, excellent delis, went to the cinema and went putting. A great place for a holiday.

Dunolly Cottage is a lovely house in a excellent location.
The house is well equipped, clean, a good size for 6 people and very cosy.
It's just off the main road in Aberfeldy but is tucked away so it feels like you don't have anyone nearby.
The views over the river, especially from the garden and back of the house are pretty.
There are lots of different walks along the river, that are only a couple of minutes from the front door.
The park is about 5 minutes walk away and Aberfeldy town centre with it's shops and restaurants are also only about 10 minutes walk away.
The booking process was simple. Angela and Jenni are always helpful. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending booking a holiday with them to anyone.

My friends and I booked a week at Dunolly Cottage in Aberfeldy and were blown away by the view and location of the property! The patio and kitchen overlooks the River Tay and we enjoyed the fabulous weather and soaked up the views after days out in the hills. The cottage is fitted with all mod-cons and we enjoyed our stay there very much. Whilst from the outside it looks chocolate-box cottage, inside is spacious and relaxing.

We had another lovely stay in Dunolly Cottage with our dogs in February 2025. We previously stayed in 2022. The cottage is cosy and comfortable and has everything that you would need for a break away. It’s an ideal Cottage to take dogs to. The garden is enclosed and secure. There are lots of nice walks nearby. There is a porch where you can change shoes, get dried etc before going into the house. There is access to a large locked shed at the side of the house which would make the cottage a great base for a group of up to 6 cyclists.

Nice and convenient location, near enough to the local cafe and shops, and also besides the river for a country feel.

Good space for 6 persons and the kitchen area very bright with lots of windows and a good view.

Bedrooms are comfy, the upstairs bathroom sink a bit small but manageable.

If you're visiting Perthshire, can consider this location, as you can drive out to all the local destinations, yet be close to the Aberfeldy facilities
