We are very happy that we chose this holiday home. It’s a very clean, modern & bright refurbished chalet that has everything that you need for a comfortable stay. Somewhere that you can easily stay in at on a rainy day. Definitely going to return!
What a find! We stayed at High Barn for a family birthday celebration and had the most amazing time. The barn is beautiful with so many thoughtful details. We were welcomed with a lovely food basket and the dogs were welcomed with treats, blankets and toys. The games room was enjoyed throughout the weekend, as well as the hot tub overlooking the open fields. The top floor master suite is out of this world. We enjoyed the local area, walking on the beach, going to Dunes Cafe for breakfast and of course seeing the seals at Horsey Beach. We were sad to leave and cannot wait to return!
Barry and Michelle were wonderful hosts and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The chalet exceeeded our expectation as was just perfect from the cleaniness to the location. If you are looking for a high standard, peaceful getaway this is the place. Plenty of amenties within walkig distance to the site and Hembsy town was only 10 mins walk along the coastal path. We will defintely be back in the future 10/10.
A comfortable well appointed cottage with an enclosed garden neatly kept. Well positioned in the village with attentive owners who think of most everything.
A really perfect cabin, comfortable and cosy. Superb location right by the beach! Peaceful and calm! Winterton-on-sea has all we need - cafes, chippy, pub and shop! Seeing the seals on the beach was an event checked off our bucket list - very special to see xx We will defo be returning in the future x
We have just returned from our stay at April Cottage. We had the most wonderful time. The cottage itself and the location were just perfect. We highly recommend and will definitely be back.
The old stable is a fantastic place to stay in Norfolk. Super clean, garden is huge, and only minutes away from local beaches. The decor inside is very tastefully done, beds very comfortable, lounge and dining areas very spacious. Highly recommended
Spent five days at 1 Old Chapel Cottages, and we found the cottage to be very warm, comfortable and well equipped. We had our two, lively spaniels with us so it was great to have the dunes and beach so close by, and the village of Winterton has a decent shop, pub, cafe and a very good fish and chip shop. The cottage has only a small patio at the back and another at the front, enough to sit and have a coffee in but nowhere for the dogs to run around, but the dunes are very close by so that was not a major problem. Very good value, so long as you can manage without a larger garden.

Hall Farm Barn is beautifully appointed, with a nicely designed and furnished dog secure garden and parking area which enabled us all to relax and enjoy the peace of rural Norfolk. We had everything we could wish for - super comfortable beds, wonderful shower, fully equipped kitchen and relaxing sitting area, with extra touches such as dog water bowls and towels provided very much appreciated too. Our walk to and from the beach was perfect for both humans and dogs, with stop offs en route to buy home made jam, chutney and dog biscuits. 9 of us stayed for a surprise 50th birthday party and the White House was excellent for a large group. The house was finished immaculately and every attention to detail was visible. The gardens were beautiful and our host Diane was amazing. For a large group this is an excellent place to stay it was like being at home, very comfortable lots of seating for everyone. The bedrooms were divine and beds very comfy. I would recommend wholeheartedly a stay here you will not be disappointed. We had a wonderful stay at Martins nest We were greeted on arrival by Diane the owner who informed us about the cottage and garden and showed us around very welcoming lovely lady There was everything you needed to start your stay including milk and some delicious brownies which were very welcome The cottage is beautifully presented and has a comfortable bed and all home comforts Located well for a walk to the beach and a private garden to relax in which we did thank you for a restful visit see you next year!
Just returned from a lovely holiday in Winterton and our stay at Cleveland house made it extra special. Everyone enjoyed it and the house has all the amenities you would need. We loved the fact it was so peaceful but you could also pop to the pub to your left and the beach on your right. Would definitely stay again.
Rosehearty is a lovely cottage situated in a super location with panoramic views of the dunes and sea. The area is quiet, which makes for a great relaxing break. If you want a little more entertainment their are resorts close by. Such as Hemsby, Caister and of course Yarmouth. We have been taking cottage holidays for a number of years and Rosehearty is one of the best. The cottage is fully equipped with plenty of books, dvd's etc to entertain should the weather turn. And the view from the open plan living area is fantastic. A great holiday destination.
Robins Rest is small but has absolutely everything you need. It is exceptionally clean and everything has been well thought out to make your stay more comfortable. The welcome pack is an added bonus. I wish we’d have gone earlier in the year when we could have enjoyed sitting out in the garden in the evening. It’s a quiet relaxing location with beaches a short distance away and a National Trust sight just down the road. Dunes cafe is a great place to stop dog friendly and lovely food.
Amity is a fab house to visit for a relaxing break It's central location made it perfect for us well maintained accommodation with all home from home comforts the off road parking is safe and secure &the enclosed garden perfect for dogs.
Lovely bungalow, hi spec finish & decor. Unusual to get a hi spec self catering home that allows dogs. Very nice sized garden & plenty of on site parking space for 3 cars, which is hard to come by with some other holiday homes in Winterton. Very good property & holiday guide issued by Winterton Cottages in advance that was really helpful & a very nice welcome pack on arrival from owners Amanda & Stan.
Sanderlings is bright and spacious. We immediately felt comfortable. The location is perfect and the friends we were meeting up with were envious of our accommodation
Fantastic house in a quiet location - but walkable to beach and pub. The house itself was spotless and ideally suited to 2 friends - with room for us to have our own space when needed. Enclosed terrace at the back - bedrooms open directly onto this - great for the dog - also had a hose connected for washing him down after walk. I would say from the dog's perspective this was the only negative! Great support from the office when we contacted them. Not related to the property but EV charging was slightly tricky. What an amazing place to stay. Light, airy, roomy, clean, and well- equipped. I could go on. We stayed with our 2 dogs and could not have felt more welcome and at home. The addition of a secure dog paddock was amazing, and all of the extra touches specifically for our dogs made the Carpenters shop, by far, the best dog friendly property we have ever stayed in. We will definitely be back and have already recommended it to all of our friends.
Lovely cottage, spotlessly clean. Despite being very small the kitchen had everything I needed, lots of utensils and pans should you want to cook whilst you’re away. The sofas are comfortable and more importantly so is the bed! It’s so close to the dunes it only takes 2 minutes to walk there and the village is perfect if you don’t want to do much, excellent pub, fish & chip shop, cafe and village shop.
Eva’s lookout is comfortable,cosy and well equipped for your stay away .It has everything you need to be able to cook should you wish to . The views from the living room and balcony are absolutely stunning and only a short walk to the beach and plenty of seals curious as to what you are doing.

Just go to back from a week stay at Field Barn Happisburgh. From booking it to checking out our whole experience was 5 Star. The accommodation was amazing and on arrival had the Wow factor throughout. Attention to detail in each room was fab and the garden was fantastic for our spaniel (very secure ) . Having the hot tub to relax in the evening was superb and we enjoyed using the barbecue. We were very blessed with the weather but great base to explore North Norfolk and enjoy the beautiful beaches. Clean, comfortable and tucked out of the way. We have stayed several times now and it is always a delight. Well equipped and feels like home from home.
Our family including 2 labs enjoyed a wonderful weekend at Cobblers End. The cottage was very clean and modern but cosy with a wood burner and throws. The garden was pretty and secure. The location was brilliantly 5 mins from the beach and eateries. Even a local shop for forgotten shampoo! We would definitely book again.
For a holiday that you want to park you car up and not use again until you leave, this is perfect place to stay 2 minutes and you are on the Dunes which you can walk for miles. The village has everything you need Pub, Shop, Post Office/Tea Room and Fish & Chip shop, Beachcomber a lovely equipped property with everything that you need for your stay this is the 3rd time we have stayed here and we will be booking again.
The accommodation is very comfortable and spacious, well-equipped and totally safe and practical for your dog. The location is perfect - dune walks nearby and the beautiful beach and clear sea just beyond that. The area is so quiet and peaceful - even the seagulls were quiet. We had a wonderful time - especially as I was recovering from surgery.
We love coming to Beachview. Always clean and comfortable although I think the sofa needs replacing. Onsuite bathroom we did not use on this stay as it smells very musty. Everything is was amazing. Would like to see discounts for regular guests the only reason im not booking for Easter but looking forward for July
Stylish cottage, spotlessly clean and providing everything needed for a comfortable stay. Excellent bathrooms with powerful showers. As others have observed, the staircase to the second bedroom might be a bit steep for some but the arrangements were perfect for us as a couple. An easy walk to the centre of the village and the beach.
The property is very clean and new looking. On arrival we were greeted with a fabulous welcome basket. The attention to detail is very impressive at this property from the dog cupboard which included medicines to the binoculars to view the fantastic sea view. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need. Outside is great for relaxing and enjoying the views with plenty of comfy seating areas
Stayed for 3 nights in late October. We found the bungalow pleasant and reasonably kitted out. The location is perfect - 2 mins from the local pub, 5 mins from the shop, cafe and and play park and a 15 walk to the beach. We had 2 cars but only off road parking for 1. We had 3 young children in our party but unlike other Winterton rentals we've used, there were no children's books, toys, games, etc. However, we had a lovely stay and will return to Sunny View next year.

Mariners Way had everything needed and the standard of accommodation was excellent. The location was ideal in a quiet spot a short walk from the beach, the dunes, shops and pub. Our two springers also loved it.
We had a brilliant week in The Net House. Very comfortable accommodation and everything you need is within walking distance; shop, pub, fish&chips, post office and the beach! Excellent walks straight from the house with access to the Norfolk costal path.

We had a really lovely break at Rose Cottage. The cottage is very comfortable and everything we needed was supplied. The location is excellent. This is our 4th visit to Winterton but our first time at Rose Cottage and no doubt we’ll be back again next year.
Lovely comfortable, clean house, locals were friendly ,good pub a short walk away ,short walk to the beach , what more do you need . Highly recommended
The cottage needs updating, especially the bathroom and kitchen. Needs a new shower and kitchen floor
A sea view was very important to me and every thing in the chalet was very clean and tidy. I was unable to get down to the beach do to age.
We throughly enjoyed our recent stay at The Winnie it had everything we could have needed (and more) for a short break away with our two black labs. I loved the decor and all the various lamps making it feel very cosy and it smelt so nice when you first came in, we ended up sleeping in the back bedroom as that bed was much firmer. The location is just perfect for the beach and dunes walks, also close to the pub Fishermans Return which was really good, delicious fish pie. We would love to return next year

We had a lovely stay with our dogs, Owen was very helpful when contacted. We saw seals at Horsey beach which was amazing. Our dogs loved the beach near the cottage and jumping in the sea! The cottage was very comfortable with great decor, the bed was super comfy too!
