Perfect size cottage for us a family of 5 and one large dog. The kitchen had everything you need if you want to cook at home. The bathrooms were all really clean. Beds were comfy too. Ideal location to the little shop, pub, fish and chip shop and café. Then a 5 minute walk to the beach which is just ideal with children.
Excellent cottage, well maintained and very comfortable. Perfect location and close proximity to the dunes and beach. Would definitely book again!
First thing we noticed was the beautiful smell, in every room, even all of the linen! The chalet is decorated perfectly with lots of thought. Being on the Hermanus site it had a great outdoor area which is always sheltered from any coastal breeze. Two minute walk to the amazing dunes and scenery. The owner was lovely and very accommodating. I also have to add the bed in the back room was super firm and I was so comfortable I slept from night one! Will definitely be back ❤️
We had a great weekend at Natterjack cottage. It was great parking the car up on Friday afternoon and being able to walk everywhere. That was one of the reasons for picking the location. The cottage itself is superb. The owners have done a fantastic job of really making it a "home from home." The attention to detail and all the extra touches make it a really comfortable and relaxing stay. We look forward to returning very soon!

It was everything we wished for, especially the dining kitchen. It was also lovely to sit out in the well kept garden. The village is quiet with a short, pleasant walk to the beach where there is a car park. The Fishermans Return PH serves lovely meals and there is a post office with Poppys' tearooms and a convenience store. We hope to return.
We love Diane and her property:0) Diane the owner was welcomed, friendly and kind. I can only wish that everyone would be so awesome, welcomed and make the personal connection as Daiane did. From a point of arrival to the end we felt like we are at home. An amazing and relaxing stay. The bonus was the large garden, there was plenty of space for our two large dogs to run around and play football. Thank you for making our mini holiday special:0)

We had the most lovely time at The Tiddler! Whilst we are familiar with the location as well as the Hermanus site, this was our first visit to The Tiddler and we were not disappointed! The accommodation has everything you could need and more! Fresh milk and cookies on arrival as well as treats for our two furry terrors were thoughtful and appreciated touches! We loved all the sea-themed decorative touches as well as the Winterton history in the maps and postcards. We had a fabulous few days in your beautiful cosy cottage . It was in a great location to access the dunes, we loved seeing the seals , very handy for the little shop and the yummy fish & chip shop too. The cottage itself was very clean and comfy for the 3 of us and had everything we needed and more . We loved the wood burner when we returned from a cold walk on the beach and the boot/ utility room outside was perfect for sorting our two dogs out and getting out of muddy / wet wellies at the end of the day. Thankyou for letting us stay , we wouldn’t hesitate in staying again .
Been several times and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It’s just perfect for us and our dog, he loves the big garden and the field behind where he walks off lead daily
Booked within a couple of days which turned out to be such a surprising find . Just where we wanted to be,somewhere on the Norfolk Coast near North Walsham. Ideal for us and loved the walks on the lovely sandy beaches . Hall Farm Barn set in amongst private and secluded properties.Superb barn conversion well equipped with all you need to make your stay memorable.Dog friendly it is secure back and front ,with a nice seating area,over looking farm fields making it a nice private back garden . Blumer cottage was everything it claimed to be. Really comfortable, spotlessly clean and perfectly placed to explore Winterton. A short walk from the pub, the dunes and amenities. Sharon was a responsive host, gave clear instructions for check in and out. We really enjoyed our stay and will be booking again.
We would highly recommend this property for couples and families alike. It’s very well equipped, with all modern appliances and furnishings. Secure garden with access to the dunes and beach was ideal for us having our golden retriever with us. He loved it as much as we did. Amazing sea views and the sunrise and sunsets were stunning. Pubs and shops within easy walking distance. The property is also a good base for all other resorts to visit as well as Norwich. We will definitely return in the future.
Wow, such a fabulous place to stay. Every detail has been thought of from the hot outside dog shower, to the dog tags and treats, dog first aid kit, Tupperware box to store tics, dog towels…. Not to mention all the human comforts too! Stunning views, super comfortable, brilliant location, lots of info on the local area and human treats too! Thank you, we loved every moment.
Lovely cottage in a perfect position. My only concern was the Stairs which were very steep and Shallow treads.
The house was lovely as well as the gardens. We also had great weather throughout our stay. We will definitely return with our 2 dogs. Enjoyed every minute!

Absolutely loved Beachcomber, it's a beautiful cottage in a wonderful location. All that Winterton on sea has to offer is within walking distance, we didn't need to use the car at all during our stay. The cottage is very dog friendly with throws for the furniture, bowls and even spare leads provided. Out two pups loved sitting on the stairs and peering through the bannisters watching mummy prepare dinner! We had a great relaxing week at The Cranny. Idlyic looking cottage and comfortable. Beach and dunes just a short few mins away and our dogs loved it. No complaints everything was perfect. Highly recommend if you are looking to be close to sea
Amazing property, our dogs loved walking along the dunes and onto the beautiful sandy beach directly from the garden , private parking comfy beds, nice showers and a well equipped kitchen along with board games, binoculares and playing cards made this bungalow perfect, the view out to sea is priceless. The local pub and village is dog friendly. We highly recommend Rosehearty and hope to return .

We had a great stay at Field Barn. There was everything you could need in the whole property and a kitchen that had everything you could need even a cake mixer! The underfloor heating made the property feel very cosy.

A great cottage with a large secure garden and parking for your car. Excellent location in Winterton with all aminities near.
Conveniently located cottage near to shop, pub, chip shop, cafe and sand dunes. Comfortable bed, very quiet, no disturbances at night. Well equipped kitchen. Smart TV and WiFi. Dog shower in garden (with hot water). Stayed for 5 days in April, our dog loved the closeness of the sand dunes and beach for walks. We liked the quiet location and convenient off street parking. Will stay here again if possible.
Lovely cottage in the heart of Winterton on sea. Perfect for coffee and cake or a full English at Poppys cafe or walking our Poppy on the beach and sand dunes. Just perfect!
Everything about this trip was outstanding - the customer service from Winterton Cottages at the point of booking where Rachel couldn't have been more helpful giving me so much information. The cottage was outstanding, had absolutely everything we could have needed (we will be packing much less next visit!) and a lovely welcome basket of treats on arrival too. Lovely cottage, had everything you could need. Situated in a peaceful location with a south facing sun trap of a garden that we were able to enjoy as we had sunshine every day of our stay. Enjoyed daily walks on the beach and dunes. The app was really useful and Rachel was only a message or phone call away if needed. Thank you for the welcome pack which had some lovely treats for us and our dog. We would definitely book again.
A beautiful house in a great location a few minutes walk to the village and the amazing beach.My only criticism would be the lounge is a bit on the small side for 6 adults but otherwise no issues. The welcome information sent before we arrived was really useful and a nice touch. The garden is really enclosed so the dogs were quite safe roaming around. Overall a great holiday thankyou
The barn is lovely although we were expecting it to be a bit more rural than it was. We found some walks close by but discovered that a lot of the broads are not dog friendly because they are nature reserves. Acle Bridge walk, a few miles away from the barn was the best river walk we had. The garden is not fully secure if you have an inquisitive dog and was a bit bare. A small welcome pack of tea/coffee and milk is provided. We would have explored more and farther afield but were only there two nights. We had a lovely stay at Sea Holly Cottage. Loved the location and the amenities all within walking distance. The pub opposite is friendly with good pub food. Local shop has everything you need. The village had the added bonus of a fish and chip shop and lovely little tearoom. We took our dog who loved it! Only a 5 minute walk to the beach and sand dunes so great for long dog walks. Highly recommend the cafe at the sea front, amazing cakes and hot chocolate! We venture to the Nelsons Head for lunch one of the day’s and wasn’t disappointed. Great home cooked pub grub.
