What more can you say. 2nd time here and coming back in august. Absolutely spotless. Every thing you need is supplied and Mandy and Jonathan are the perfect hosts. Nothing too much trouble. The fish and chips are the best in the village and the pub soo friendly. Beach and dunes 10 min walk and is lovely. U can get a drink and a bite to eat at the beach and also toilets. Such a friendly place. Roll on august

Mardle was spotless! and equiped with everything you need for a perfect stay. It's nice to see the photos of the interior are exactly what you find when you open the door to this lovely home, believe me, we have had 20 years of holidays on Sundowner and some photos of previous lets have not been the same as advertised. We love Diane and her property:0) Diane the owner was welcomed, friendly and kind. I can only wish that everyone would be so awesome, welcomed and make the personal connection as Daiane did. From a point of arrival to the end we felt like we are at home. An amazing and relaxing stay. We've stayed on the Hermanus site before but not at this property so we thought we knew what to expect, but this exceeded all our expectations. It was much bigger than we anticipated and beautifully maintained and decorated with everything we could have wanted for a perfect mini break. There was bread and milk waiting for us on arrival along with fresh flowers and strawberries, a very welcome touch. The bed and sofas were comfortable, there was plenty of hot water and we found a fan in the cupboard which, considering it was the hottest week of the year so far, was invaluable. Pebblelight is in a perfect location, I have stayed before - so know that I can park up on the private drive and not use the car to get around Winterton. Lorraine has provided everything for a home-from-home feeling; from comfortable beds to a well equipped kitchen. The garden table and chairs were a new addition this year, and much used on our stay! Pebblelight is just a short stroll over the sand dunes to the beach. And walking back, the dog friendly Poppys tearoom is worth a visit. Perfect accommodation for grandparents, daughters and families. Prompt attention when plumbing issue.
This is by far one of my favourite holiday lets. The location is perfect as situated on a quite private road but only a short walk to Hemsby and Winterton-on-the -Sea. The propery literally has everything you could ask for and the views from the garden ... well all I can say is WOW!! If you are looking for a quiet location with amenties close by and access to the beach I cannot recommed this place enough. We will certainly be going back for future holidays 10/10.

Hall farm barn is a home away from home the owners have thought of everything for a comfortable stay. Two ensuites for two couples was ideal and an additional toilet made things extra comfortable. Outside space was ideal for breakfast and evening drinks. We didn't cook as we ate out most evenings so didn't use any of the three ovens provided. But everything you need was thought of and provided.
Having spent the last 20 or so years frequently staying in Winterton using Holiday lets and Airbnb's this is probably the best property we have stayed in. For a 2 bed property it is spacious, comfortable and very homely. The place was spotless and attention to detail for what visitors need was spot on. They also leave all those little things you tend to forget such as salt, pepper all condiments, cleaning products etc they many lets don't. The owner was super helpful and kind. We have already booked to come back.
Wow, such a fabulous place to stay. Every detail has been thought of from the hot outside dog shower, to the dog tags and treats, dog first aid kit, Tupperware box to store tics, dog towels…. Not to mention all the human comforts too! Stunning views, super comfortable, brilliant location, lots of info on the local area and human treats too! Thank you, we loved every moment.
This house has breathtaking views from the top floor! The house was nicely decorated and comfortable during our stay. It was close to everything we wanted to do as well. Would recommend this to someone else and would stay here again.
Spot on for us. Very clean and well equipped. Beach, convenience store, pub and cafe all close and excellent standard. Highly recommended!
We were very happy with our stay. Everything worked properly, the place was clean and well provisioned. The beds were comfortable and the showers excellent. The area guidance notes provided were very useful. I can only suggest two improvements. 1. The location of the key safe makes it very hard to read the very feint digits to get it open. It really needs to be repositioned and preferably renewed as well. 2. Visibility of the road when driving off the parking area is very limited indeed. A convex mirror opposite would solve the problem.

Winterton is one of our favourite places to relax and Tremeer was the perfect place to help us do that. From the text to say we could occupy the property earlier than stated, the comfortable facilities and lovely garden for our pooch / humans to chill in. 4th stay at Beachcomber and another booked for June. As always the cottage was well presented & is perfect for a break with the family & dog. We especially like the proximity to the dunes & village amenities with the fish & chip shop, local shop & pub. We shall definitely look to book again for later in the year.
Very happy with my stay at the property. The description was accurate. The location was super. All the amenities in the village were just what you wanted. You could not ask for more for a beach holiday.
What an absolute joy it was to stay at Rosehearty , I have stayed at a great many holiday homes over the years but this is simply the best one yet. In the kitchen I had everything I could have needed, when cooking & I reached for something I found it - wonderful. There was enough room available for my shopping, a great big fridge/freezer. The living space worked well for our family, it was well laid out & comfortable, the views simply stunning. I enjoyed my time at OCB; the place is clean and furnished to a high standard, with everything a visitor might need for a pleasant stay. Three slight concerns could be: i) I hadn't understood, from the photos or the description of the property, that the space for dogs is not huge. It is safe and secure, for sure, but the rear, paved area is not brilliant for dogs, in all honesty. The front, grassed area is pleasant, secure and well-maintained, but fairly small. ii) The non-master bedroom, in which I stayed, is in the roof of the barn. We had an amazing week at Sunny View, helped by the wall to wall sunshine. The bungalow is in an amazing location close to everything Winterton has to offer. So the inside - really comfortable, everything you need for a week away and very nicely furnished and decorated. Outside- wow what a garden completely secure wrap around garden, our dogs loved it , both sun and shade to suit everyone, only thing missing for us was a parasol around the table area, that would have been handy in the very hot weather we experienced. Would highly recommend and we would love to come back.
Just go to back from a week stay at Field Barn Happisburgh. From booking it to checking out our whole experience was 5 Star. The accommodation was amazing and on arrival had the Wow factor throughout. Attention to detail in each room was fab and the garden was fantastic for our spaniel (very secure ) . Having the hot tub to relax in the evening was superb and we enjoyed using the barbecue. We were very blessed with the weather but great base to explore North Norfolk and enjoy the beautiful beaches. The carpenters house was a great find. So well equipped and such a nice place for our dogs. They loved the paddock and exploring the long grass.
Lovely bungalow with very comfortable beds. Clean apart from cobwebs and spider on one of the en-suite bathroom windows. The directions given to the beach in the welcome book is not the shortest route, which we found out by a local a much quicker way which was better for our senior dogs. A higher fence at the back would have been better as we couldn’t sit in the back garden much due to people and vehicles at the back. We did enjoy our stay and really appreciated the welcome pack.
The cottage is centrally located in the village, convenient for the post office, cafe and chip shop just across the road. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our week stay. Located in the most beautiful village and only 5 minutes walk from the beach. We would recommend and would stay again.
We've been staying in different cottages in winterton-on-sea for the last 10 years once if not twice a year and The Old Village Shop is probably the best we've stayed in it was clean, comfortable and in a good location. Only downside was the garden furniture had been damaged the week before we arrived and no replacement had been sourced before our arrival, but the owners had texted to tell me. We will definitely return.
Winterton cottageis located in the centre of the village a few minutes walk away from the sandy beach and fantastic coastal paths running through the sand dunes. The cottage had everything you would require including towels for your dog and outside wash down. As we were there for only 3 days we explored the surrounding area as much as we could with most attractions within 20 minutes. We stayed for a long weekend with family including a toddler and a dog. The accommodation was perfect. Great facilities, perfect location. Beach is fantastic and the walks nearby were lovely. I had a few questions before our stay and the customer service was great, very helpful. Information pack was very useful. House was immaculate, and very clean, with the exception of the kitchen floor which was pretty filthy and left us with very pretty disgusting feet. Very quiet, comfortable and peaceful location / accommodation. A great place to unwind and explore the beauty of the Norfolk broads and beaches. WiFi a tad erratic at times.
Marram sands is the perfect place for the Beach and walking to Hemsby. The accommodation is comfortable and the jukebox is fun. It was so good we have booked again.
We booked a short break in Winnie - I have been to Winterton before but not stayed in a chalet. The location is fabulous - lovely views across open fields and only a couple of minutes walk to the sand dunes and across to the very quiet beach. The chalet itself is larger than we thought it would be and beautifully decorated. It was easy with the dog as there is plenty of open space outside. Beds very comfortable and loads of cooking utensils. Village pub and shop within a 5 minute stroll from the chalet. The Net House is in a great position for hassle free access to the beach and village amenities. Our dog is frightened of traffic so we normally have to drive to places even is just a couple of hundred yards away. However at Winterton we were able to walk everywhere, a first. Don't use satnav to find The Net House when in village, look at a map first. Beach and sand dunes were excellent. Winterton has a great pub, fish and chips shop and cafe ( in post office). Everywhere is ultra dog friendly. Want to go back ASAP.
Mariners Way is a very special holiday home, it is extremely comfortable in every way, the lounge has two sofas plenty of cushions, very good TV and a log burner for the colder months . Both bedrooms have very comfortable beds , wardrobes and plenty of other storage. Bathroom has a large walk in shower and an extra toilet in the property is a bonus. The kitchen is superbly equipped, you have dining options, the dining room, the conservatory and outside too . We had a lovely few days at Trinity Barn. The information provided before we set off was very useful. We received a text message from the owners when were travelling to confirm that the barn was ready for us, which was a nice touch. The barn itself is stunning, it has been decorated to a very high standard and is light and airy. The owners have thought of everything so the kitchen is very well stocked. Our 5th time here , we keep returning because of the location- it’s stunning! If dogs could choose their own holiday this would be it! The chalet is very well equipped and we want for nothing.

A comfortable well appointed cottage within easy walking distance of the beach. The specification throughout was very good although we did have major problems with the tv. I was able to have several direct e-mails with the owner and although this wasn't resolved during our stay it didn't spoil our holiday. We would certainly return which is always the 'acid test' of satisfaction.
Lack of communication left us not knowing how to get in. Telephone signal was bad, so I didn't receive the late communication until I had stopped for a rest on our way back home. My 87 yr old Mum was traumatized, as was I. We spent a lot of money and got no holiday. I haven't even had a reply to an email I sent. We now have to do without a holiday this year. Thanks for nothing Winterton cottages
