Perfect location, lovely apartment, good shop literally over the road for anything you need, a few minutes walk to great beach and coastal path etc, nice pub 5 minutes walk, coffee and breakfast over the road as well. Reclining sofa is a bonus and very comfortable. Everything else good too and can’t think of any negatives.
Great little chalet done up to a high standard with everything you could possibly need supplied for a stay. Beach and shops all within walking distance Would definitely stay again
Everything about the White House was excellent. The large garden is amazing and the first thing you see as you open the gate. The summerhouse is a lovely place to sit and read (it also contains outdoor games if the weather allows). The conservatory leads to a well equipped kitchen - this is one of two as the ground floor bedroom is a self contained suite off the kitchen with a small kitchen and shower leading to a well setup bedroom with French doors to the garden (and one of the three patio areas). We love Winterton and have been coming for years. However, this was our introduction to Bosuns cottage and it has now become our go to place. The thatched cottage has lots of charm and has been refurbished internally to create a spacious and practical space. Fit out is to a high standard which is modern yet compliments the charm of the cottage. The owners were very helpful and provide everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The Tiddler is nicely placed in Winterton on sea for easy access to the village, sand dunes & beach. Located behind the old Winterton Lighthouse and access to the Hermanus Holiday park. You have the option to use the park facilities.which include a heated outdoor swimming pool, ( summer only) bar & restaurant. Off site there is within the village a good pub, shop,tearoom & fish & chips shops as well as the Seal View Cafe at the Winterton beach car park. We absolutely loved our stay at The Old Stable. It was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed and more. Brilliant large enclosed garden and a paddock where our dog could run about. Location is close to the coast and to amenities but quiet and peaceful, Off road parking too. We could not fault it, what a great property!
Natterjack Cottage is by far one of the best self-catering properties we have ever stayed in. Literally everything you could possibly think of was in the cottage we didn't want for anything. The location is excellent just a short walk to the beach and it's so peaceful you could hear a pin drop at night. We will definitely be going back

Martin's Nest worked very well for the two of us plus our Golden Retriever. The studio is very well equipped and we did not find anything we needed missing. Diane was her usual exemplary host. This was our first time in Martin's Nest after staying in the neighbouring White House (which is truly lovely). The orientation of the studio in terms of sunlight was excellent, some early morning and then lovely later afternoon into the evening - this helped with the heatwave and direct sunlight. Lovely barn conversion which has been converted to a very high standard overlooking the Norfolk countryside, very peaceful and quiet. Countryside walks on the doorstep and walking distance to Happisburgh beach. A perfect base for exploring the local area with Cromer, Sheringham, Norwich and Great Yarmouth all in short driving distance.
Really enjoyed Robins Rest. Spotlessly clean and everything you would need. We enjoyed the garden and summerhouse and Banjo enjoyed the paddock walk and my husband made use of the clubs and golf balls. It was as pictured. Convenient parking too.
We loved our time at Rosehearty. However we were very disappointed the access to the dunes/beach was so steep. This should be reflected in the description in our opinion.
Had a great week at High Barn. Enjoyed the layout of the barn and hot tub/games room. Great it is doggy friendly . Quiet location but easy access to beautiful beaches and attractions. We will be visiting again thank you
This is the first time we have stayed at Larners Lodge but not the first time in Winterton. The cottage is well located in the village, a short walk from the beach, pub and shop and in a quiet cul-de-sac. The cottage is well laid out, comfortably furnished and has all the amenities we required together with a secluded and secure back garden and friendly neighbours. I would definitely recommend Larners Lodge and will certainly return.
This was our first stay at the carpenters shop and we was not disappointed, There was six Adults and Nine dogs and the the carpenters shop was excellent for our needs the dogs really enjoyed the paddock for extra space to run in and knowing it was secure and exclusive for us only was brilliant, inside the house was perfect it is a beautiful place and all the extra decor adds to its character the lift to the upper floor was welcome for one off our group who is recovering from a operation this cottage is by farone off the best we have been to .
Beautiful house, clean, very comfy, modern, well equipped and in a perfect central village location.
Very comfortable, well thought out, near to beach, pub, cafe and shop. Very quiet area. The bungalow is well presented has everything you need for a comfortable stay, back garden enclosed, front garden had decking area which is also enclosed. We stayed with 2 dogs had a great time, the garden has no grass so our dogs did struggle a little as they are use to grass when toileting.

Very well equipped property, every you need, great views, lovely garden, right on beach, and good for dog walking.
There is only one problem with the Cranny and it is our problem, not of the Cranny. We are getting old and we find we cannot cope so well these days. The gravel at the front of the combined driveway is a problem for those of us using Strollers, Walking Sticks or Scooters with smaller wheels. Other than that, the garden is beautiful and very private. The garden is also very secure for your dog, well Honey, our Cockapoo never found an escape route and relished the fredom it gave her. I had a pleasant few days in Winterton-on-sea again this September. I was blessed with good weather for the time of year, I didn’t actually have to wear my wellies. Winterton is a very friendly safe place to stay, we first came 13 years ago with our field spaniel Cody who we took on when my daughter-in-law Sarah passed away with breast cancer. I come back every year about the same time of year, my husband passed away in 2020 and Cody passed away not long after, but I still go back because it holds special memories and I feel very safe and welcome there.
As always nothing to complain about this lovely place, ideally situated in the centre of Winterton easy access to dunes & beach.
We stayed recently and were delighted with the accommodation, real home from home, decorated and kept to a very high standard - we will definitely be back! Would be nice if a welcome pack was provided…..and we wondered if the outdoor seating and bbq for dining and family time would be different in the summer months - as the view is spectacular and if we brought the family it would be important. Lastly no instructions for the heating were provided - might be good? Definitely 10/10! Thank you
We had a lovely week at Trinity Barn, 4 adults and 2 dogs. The barn was spotless and well cared for, it was home from home. There were nice touches like tea, coffee, sugar. Kitchen roll, toilet rolls etc. The garden was totally secure for our 2 dogs which was great as we could just leave the door open and they could wander in and out as they pleased. Well equipped cottage with plenty of space for all the family and two dogs. Lovely walks along the dunes and further inland. The children loved the swimming especially when the seals popped up to join them. Our second visit to Sunny View as it gave us everything we needed for the family.

Our stay at Tremeer was fantastic. We have been visiting Winterton on a regular basis since 1981,and this Holiday let was one of the best we have ever booked. Will definitely book again in the future and would highly recommend.
This was our second stay in Winterton, and the first at Cleveland House. The location was excellent, just a stones throw away from fabulous unspoilt walks by the beach and in the dunes - our pointer Dora loves it too! Although limited availability meant we only had 2 nights, we were able to make the most of the Friday, parking by the beach, enjoying a walk and an early lunch at the excellent Fisherman’s Return pub just a few minutes away. 3rd time we have stayed at the village shop. Always find it comfortable. Still issue with larger bathroom feeling chilly in the morning.s. Found it quite expensive this time as it sleeps 6 but only two of us maybe offering a slight reduced price worth considering.
Eva's is a stunning and very comfortable place to stay, beds are excellent and the Quooker tap is a game changer, so easy and that's what you want on Holiday. The location speaks for itself.
Lovely and comfortable nicely decorated for a holiday home great pictures and everything you need it’s home from home and would definitely go back hopefully one day. The only reason for the score of 4 was the kitchen wasn’t as clean as I would of liked needed to clean the fridge but of coarse this could have been from other people but should have been checked and kettle needed a descale but all utensils mugs plates etc were spotless and didn’t need customer service as everything was excellent thankyou for a great property. Lovely cottage with a great sea view. Great garden for us and the dogs. Muntjac deer came to peer at us through the gate 3 consecutive days. Sea view had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Lots to visit around the area and of course great beaches. This was our second stay here and would stay again. .
Felt at home the moment we arrived. Net House is very nicely decorated and furnished . Plenty of room in kitchen cupboards for our supplies that we brought with us. Fridge clean a big plus. We found everything we needed in the way of kitchen equipment. Living room very comfortable with lovely sofa throws. Bedroom spacious and we slept well . Cobbles End is within easy walking distance of the pub, shops and beach at Winterton and only a short drive or lovely walk from Horsey Gap where there is a colony of seals. The bungalow is well equipped for a self catering stay and is more than adequate for a party of four plus dog. The garden is attractive and enclosed.
Perfect location and well equipped chalet but was let down by a few little things. The cups and plates in the cupboards were stained and had obviously not been cleaned properly by the previous tenants. Maybe a dishwasher would be a good investment ? The TV signal was poor and most programmes we viewed were turned off as the picture and sound kept breaking up. Finally, the shower was very poor with not much more than a trickle making it very difficult to even get wet, easily the worst we have come across. Rectify these issues and Winnie would be absolutely perfect.
We had a lovely stay. Sarah, the owner, was kind enough to let us know that we could go in at 3pm rather than 4 the official time. The location is perfect and so central. We will definitely return.

First time in this accommodation at Hemsby. Very comfortable. Particularly enjoyed the private garden and plenty of seating options. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable. The bathrooms were very clean and fresh. Plenty of crockery. Lots of containers/dishes. Juke box a great novelty. Plenty of parking. Two towels plus face cloth per guest - although the bath towels were rather small. Generous sized fridge/freezer. We just love this chalet. The sea view is amazing and as there is nothing between the chalet and the valley, you can imagine that you are the only people there! We have stayed there before and this time it was as good as ever. There was a problem with the cleaning and some surfaces obviously hadn't been cleaned for a long time. I alerted the owner about this and she is going to look into it.
The house was in a lovely private location. It was very well equipped, they had thought of everything .The cooker, fridge, freezer and BBQ were beautifully clean.The beds and bedding were great quality and comfortable, excellent shower. We were a party of 6 adults and a 2yr old and it was a bit of a squeeze in the bedrooms, the middle one particularly. Very little hanging space or storage in any of he rooms so had to keep the suitcases on the landing and get the clothes out of them. Excellent cottage to experience the dunes straight out of the back door, short walk to the beach and coastal path and seal view cafe. The cottage is very old and has obviously had a lot of attention to detail to bring it up to the standard required for a very comfortable holiday let. Just needs a little more tlc outside,it was lovely to soak up the sunshine in a lovely secluded secure dog friendly front garden. The house is big it was also not clean, the kitchen being very grubby. Furniture is uncomfortable, especially shabby settee in conservatory. Only 5 knives supplied for 6 person house! Kitchen needs a deep clean & general furniture update
Absolutely loved Sea Holly cottage. Beautifully decorated, gorgeous rooms and the roll-top bath was wonderful. We will definitely return and I can’t recommend it highly enough
