Captains Cottage is a traditional 'chocolate box' thatched cottage in the heart of Winterton on Sea. It has a sunny enclosed garden and is just five minutes walk from the beach. Captains Cottage sleeps six guests in three bedrooms and three bathrooms, with one small/medium dog welcome free of charge.

We had a lovely week staying at Captains Cottage. It was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The location is great as only a short walk to the beach.

Excellent location - less than 5 minutes to the beach and even less to the local store, fish and shop and even closer to the pub! Very attractive looking property. Very well equipped with good showers, towels, lots of throws if needed with the dog, lovely dining space. The owner is very responsive.

V minor comments: The cottage didn't appear to have a name outside on the house so was slightly tricky to locate but a friendly local confirmed we were at the right place. The under counter fridge is too small for a week if you get a full week's food and eat in mostly so would recommend 2 deliveries.

We enjoyed our stay so much we are going back in the winter to see the sealpups on the beach - booked already

Superb cottage in a beautiful location and equipped well. Stayed in village a few times and this cottage is great. Be aware that there is a step down into ground floor bedroom and again into ensuite. The kitchen is also down 2 steps. Not an issue for us but just to be aware. Owner was excellent on resolving a minor issue within the day. A great place would highly recommend.
