Rose Cottage has the benefit of being right in the centre of Winterton-on-Sea village opposite the Post Office, yet less than a five minute stroll from the beach. This comfortable cottage sleeps up to four guests in two bedrooms with one bathroom, and welcomes three dogs free of charge.

We have stayed in Winterton on Sea a couple of times, first time at Rose Cottage and this is the best one so far. Great cottage, great location, very clean and well maintained. Lots of lovely walks, great pub just round the corner, along with Poppies Cafe just over the road. Can’t really ask for more for this type of holiday. Thanks

We stayed at the Rose Cottage during Christmas and we really enjoyed our time. The place was tastefully decorated with Christmas decorations, that made our stay even more pleasant. The fire place on a winter evenings was delightful. Location is superb. We were visiting with our dog and it only took us 5 min to walk to the beach to admire the dunes and hundreds of seals on the sandy beach. The cottage had all the amenities needed to make our self catering stay easy. Remember to bring all teas, coffee, salt etc. with you, as it is not provided (we were aware of that, so came prepared and it was no issue). The coffee shop is so close and serving delicious breakfasts. Pub and convenience store also 2min walk away. Overall great little place, we would love to come back to in the future.

Love this cottage right in the centre of the village. A perfect size for 2. Tastefully decorated, cosy and warm. We had a lovely 3 nights in Winterton and enjoyed the last bit of seal spotting for this year.
I will definitely come back to Rose Cottage.

We stayed 4 nights in Rose Cottage in mid December. The cottage is perfectly located right in the centre of the village, straight opposite Poppy's Tearoom.
The decor is lovely and traditional and the bedrooms had top quality bedding, for really really comfy sleeps.
The floors are tiled downstairs which was good for our dogs. The only drawback in the outside space was no proper secure garden for the dogs so they could only go out there on leads. It didn't matter to us as we just enjoyed many walks. It was seal pupping time whilst we were there which is an incredible spectacle I would encourage everyone to see. I am returning to Rose Cottage for New Year, so it's a hit with me.

We spent 5 days in Rose Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed the getaway. We have stayed in and around Winterton a few times and welcomed staying somewhere different to get an alternative perspective. The cottage is situated right in the centre of this quiet and pleasant village, a short walk to the beach for lovely long walks, and even shorter walks to the local amenities (shops and local pub).
The cottage provides all you need for a pleasant short stay with well appointed bedrooms, a sizeable bathroom and a comfortable living area. The kitchen is perfectly serviceable - and we were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine and biscuits.
A great base for a much needed holiday.

Perfect location for a walk to the beach to see the seals. Cottage was cosy and warm and the smart to came in very handy as it rained for most of our stay.
