The Old Village Shop is a three bedroom end terrace cottage just two minutes walk from the dunes, with two bathrooms and a sunny enclosed garden. As it was once the village shop, it has a slightly quirky layout with two staircases. Three dogs are welcome at no additional charge.

A lovely cottage in a great location to explore Norfolk or enjoy the dunes, which are a 2 minute walk. A nice local pub that is always welcoming. This is our 4th visit to the Old Village Shop so, that should say it all. Looking forward to the next one.

This was our second visit to Winterton, but the first time staying in The Old Village Shop.
The house was comfortable and warm, and the kitchen well equipped. I was pleased to find plenty of mugs, crockery and cutlery.
We were aware of the quirky layout and it was fine for us, but be aware the second staircase at the back of the house is steep and narrow. There was plenty of room on the large sofa for 5 of us to watch TV. There was also a selection of games, puzzles, books and DVDs in the house.
We chose the house partly because it had a parking space, but there was on street parking available too.
We used the village shop and had a delicious takeaway from the fish & chip shop.
It was an easy drive into Great Yarmouth for a bit of seaside fun and we also walked along the dunes into Hemsby.
Winterton is a brilliant location for easy access to the beach and sand dunes, all within a few minutes walk.
Loved the village as much as we did on our first visit in 2022 and will definitely return.

This is a really lovey cottage to stay in. Very comfortable and has a well equipped kitchen. A stones throw away from the dunes to the beach. A lovely basket of treats was left on the table for us. Would highly recommend staying here.

The Old Village Shop provided a perfect base to explore the wonderful beach & sand dunes. The village store, Pub & chip shop are all a very short walk away. The accommodation was homely, spacious, clean & warm. It worked perfectly for us with our dog. We would highly recommend it & we would love to go again.

This was our second stay in the old Village Shop, Ideally situated for the Dunes and the beach to walk Dogs and everything you need is in the village. Property is clean and comfortable with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing time.

Lovey place to stay,
Kitchen a bit tiny especially when you have dogs.
Parking only just managed to get car on drive, especially with cars parked across the road.
