Fourth time staying in the cottages. Love the area as dog friendly, lots of places to eat and visit. Husband had his best fishing.
The cottage was so clean, well equipped and cozy. At dawn and dusk the geese flew over, the ducks landed and the trees were full of bird song. Cottage was warm and welcoming. As I left I spoke with lovely woman who showed me inside of adjacent cottage for possible booking next spring. It's very lovely too. And she does an amazing job. Highly recommend staying on Kinnaird.
Second visit to this lovely wee cottage and i hope we get back again ,every thing you could need .perfect spot for relaxing.
Could not imagine a better cottage for us in Perthshire! Have stayed in J Scott for years in every season and always enjoyed our week there - location, walks, hunting, fishing - great management team - who could ask for more!
This was our 4th stay at Castle Peroch so we obviously like the place. Outstanding location high above the valley and nice walking tracks just outside the door. Very comfortable upstairs bedroom with spacious bath and downstairs sitting area with working fireplace with lots of wood provided. Although there is another small bedroom upstairs, the cottage is really most appropriate for a couple. Spacious kitchen and dining area. Positives: Lovely location, very commodious, Negatives: Mattresses were very soft, one shower did not mix hot and cold water, one toilet very loud when flushed, skimpy duvets, kitchen not well supplied - minimal flatware, only salt and pepper unlike other self-catering places we've stayed in the British Isles, not near any villages for supplies so that a car is a must.
