Located in a small, popular residential Close to the West of East Wittering village centre and just 300m from the beach. West Wittering is famous for its stunningly beautiful landscape and Blue Flag sandy beach, which attracts visitors from all over the UK and beyond. It is a favourite destination for wind surfers, but equally families love to "get away from it all" by visiting the lovely child-friendly sand dunes. The beach has excellent facilities, including a cafe and ample parking and there is plenty of space for barbecues etc. This modern family home is a 5- 10 minute walk from West Wittering village and the beach.

With accomodation split across two floors 9 Ella Close has one 5’ king size double bed and a twin room on the first floor and a 5’ king size double bed and a twin room on the ground floor, making this the perfect holiday home for families staying holidaying together.

There is plenty of parking with two driveways and a large garden to the back of the property

We have been renting from Bailey's for 8 years now & we get nothing but the best service. Bailey's are always helpful, friendly & will always go out of their way for you.

Ella Close, we rented in February 2024. Apart from needing a lick of paint throughout (it look like someone started a whitewash undercoat, but never completed with the final coat) the property is truly lovely. It is spacious, huge bathroom upstairs & a bath, I could almost swim in ;-)

In our opinion, the beds were comfy, it has a well equipped kitchen, comfy lounge & good size TV. We will certainly rent this property again in the future.

Since the conversion of the loft space, Ella now provides a large 4 bedroom property however, the lounge does not seat 8 people and feels 'unloved'. There is the old tv unit underneath the, (now wall mounted) T.V. - not sure why. There is a mis-match of tables and not, in my opinion, a warm cozy space!
Despite the fact that I believe the conversion was carried out a few years ago, it is unfinished, with second coats of paint required, missing pieces of architrave and just a general feeling of needing some TLC!
The location is great for the East Wittering shops and the beach but we were disappointed by the sound of the traffic from the main road, which abuts the rear garden. This could be particularly heard in the master bedroom and the lounge. (We come from a cul-de-sac, which may be why we noticed it).
I feel that the bedroom space outweighs the living space. The kitchen is small and could not cope with more than two people trying to prepare a meal. I have already mentioned the seating in the lounge.
With some TLC and thoughtful furniture, the property could work for 8 people but as it currently stands, it worked well for my family of 5.

We’d an excellent week at Ella Close. House great for us all - spacious, well equipped and comfortable. 3 generations of us so teens binge watched TV and we chatted and played cards in the dining room. Cooker hood didn’t work and Baileys sent someone with half a hour. No one liked the foam mattress on the king bed upstairs (made you too hot) so the youngest, who didn’t care had a king size bed for the week! Weather not great but still in the sea 5 days out of 6! Only went to west wittering beach once - we walked and used local beach the rest. 5 minutes to leave that beach and be in the shower and it’s a great beach. Each morning a squirrel carrying its baby crossed the garden which was wonderful to see. House bigger looking than photos online. We’d come back here anytime,

The heating did not work so as the weather was dire and we had 4 small children it was not ideal. We had lots wet things as it rained a lot.
There was no outside table( except a tiny one to fit 2 people)so on the two sunny days we had to eat on our laps.
It is not a cosy house but did have lots of space.

We do understand you weren't happy, as the issue with the boiler coupled with the rain and the cool weather which meant you were indoors rather than outdoors clearly was not ideal. our first time in Ella close but have rented from Baileys for a number of years,this was the perfect place to stay,very comfy and felt like a home from home,the location is perfect and the close is very well placed to use the buses.we all loved it,10 out of 10 from us.

My daughter submitted comments relating to 9 Ella Close to Bailey's estate agent when returning the house keys. I cannot comment on the property as my husband and I were unable to stay at this property with members of our family, because he had only just been discharged from hospital, being an in patient for 9 weeks.

We are currently unable to make plans for summer 2022 because of his continuing ill health. Averil Baulch

Property was very comfortable, spacious, relaxing and private. Great for children and good location. Sofas & beds good.
Kitchen well equipped and great dining area. Lovely gardens, very quiet. Decor a little dated. However we enjoyed our stay and would book again.

The location of Ella Close is fantastic - a short walk to the beach and to the Centre of the village. The house is a bit tired. The beds were comfortable and the linen clean. The sitting room is a bit dingy and not a very nice place to sit in an evening. It was good to have the hatch between the kitchen and dining room - and the dining room was a nicer place to socialize. The kitchen was well kitted out and everything was working. There is no bath, but there was plenty of hot water for a shower. The front door locking mechanism isn’t great - its very easy to lock yourself out of the house - which we did!
