East Winds is a fantastic place to stay. The property itself is modern, comfortable, well laid out, and has a bathroom for each of the three bedrooms. It’s also in a great location - just a few mins from the beach and the shops. We’d definitely stay here again.
Well equipped spacious modern house close to beach and good Tesco local made for easy 3 generational holiday.
This if the fourth time we have stayed in Fairhaven. We love it and it really feels like a home from home. The location is fabulous. We particularly enjoy being so close to the beach, the garden is great for children's games and we played cricket and rounders on the green sward. It’s so convenient for the shops and cafes too. Highly recommended.
Our stay at high tide was wonderful. The views from the apartment were amazing. Wall to wall sea views. The apartment was beautifully decorated & he beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped for all needs. The only disappointment was the building work that was being carried out during our stay. Which did wake us up early some mornings & on our last day we had an hours drilling above us which was very unpleasant. I had my 89 year old mum with me so it was not always easy to just get out & escape the noise.
Second stay at this particular house, but have stayed through Baileys at a number of properties now in the area, and will continue to do so. We love West wittering and find holiday letting through Baileys so very good and simple to do. Very reliable and consistently welcoming. This house was the best yet. It had everything for a perfect stay, and the weather was Amazing too. So thank you very much. Judy.
The Snug was close to the shops and the Beach, which suited us perfect. It had a nice little garden, with sun chairs and a sunshade.
Stayed at Kestrel for a week and it was the best accommodation we ever stayed in. There is everything you need for a fantastic holiday, ( full size wine fridge ). The best thing is the pirate ship in the garden for the kids but they also have lots of games, puzzles etc. You can't get bored. The owner really thought of everything. The beach is less than 5 min away , shop is just around the corner so is the fish and chips and a Chinese . I'm definitely going back there, already enquiring for next year.
This was our first stay at Seagate and were very impressed with the whole package- would recommend to friends/family. Would like to ask what were the make of the single beds as suffer from bad back and found them very comfortable
TV volume linked to speakers and not easy to work out how to use it. Not all channels are loaded onto TV as catch up. You need to use your phone and channel thorough TV, which is complicated, though very helpful man at Baileys came round and showed me how to do this. More tumbler glasses needed in kitchen; also ideally plastic cups. Otherwise well equipped.
This is the first time we have rented this property although we have dealt with others in the past through Baileys. We were told we would love it and we did. The house and garden were lovely and dog friendly. Our grandchildren, daughter and husband and our son and his wife thought the same, we were celebrating our daughter's 40th birthday. It was a book lovers and musical haven with thousands of CDs and a great selection of books. The weather was mixed but it didn't stop us all getting on the beach and some even taking a swim in the sea, the only thing that no one has control over. Th...more
This was our third stay at this amazing house right on the beach & close to the shops & restaurants. This is a beautiful property in a beautiful location & we can’t wait for our next visit this year. Thank you once again to Baileys where the staff are always very helpful & friendly.
Such a lovely location and a beautiful cottage. Lots would have been good but they were easy enough to source.
This year was our second stay at Sea Haven, a spacious and well presented property. It has all the facilities we required and 3 bathrooms, one of which is a walk in shower. There is a small to medium sized enclosed garden which was great for my two dogs. I found it very peaceful sitting in the garden, hardly any noise, except for occasional voices of neighbours. So different from my garden in London with noisy neighbours. The property is just a few minutes walk to the beach and I really enjoyed early morning walks with the dogs on a nearly deserted beach. There is a large sandy beach w...more
A perfectly nice home, well furnished, with all the facilities for a family week away. Good location for the West Wittering beach.
Great house, great location, wonderful family time, very special and we all hope to return in 2023 for another week
Lovely bungalow and suited us as it was close to the sea and to the village centre. Mediterranean style garden.
Third time we have stayed at 4 Elms. The house is nice and spacious, with everything you need. The house has had an extension, which I think is still to be finished. The drive fits two cars easy, and probably squeeze a third of needed. The rear enclosed garden is great if you have children, giving plenty of room for them to play, whilst being safe. The garden is well kept. The famous west wittering sandy beach is about a mile, and easy to walk rather than using the car. Bikes can be left in the garden, but unfortunately out in the elements, so if it rains, they will get wet. All in all, gre...more
My stay was so relaxing the sea views are amazing the property is beautiful, and I got up at 5.30 am every morning and sat with a cup of tea looking at the sea , it was the best holiday I’ve ever had , the weather was sunny every day thanks all the best Nigel
Hard to find a better location by the sea. We had an amazing time. We love the local food shops of East Wittering and the beach is unbeatable. Helpful feedback would be needs more chopping boards a fridge up near the roof terrace better/ more comfortable pillows sharp knives
First impressions are excellent! Brilliant location for the beach (literally a 2 min walk) and only 10 mins into East Wittering. Lovely quiet road and plenty of parking. Be warned it is a tight corner to get into the drive through the gates but once in lots of space. The property is well kept, upstairs bedroom (we didn’t use it but went up for a nosey!) is spacious and has a lovely en-suite with bath. Simple decoration and looked in good order. The two bedrooms downstairs are good, the child’s bedroom is a squeeze and if using the upstairs bedroom you would need to walk through the child...more
We had a great week at Aura Favoni. The location is perfect, being so close to the creek. The house has all the essentials and it is presented very clean. We will book again but we would ask that the owners provide some garden furniture. We had to borrow tables and chairs from family and friends in order to eat outside.
A lovely house for a family get together. So close to the beach plus a safe garden for the children and dogs. Thank you!
Excellent accommodation with everything you need to make your holiday a perfect one. Location to the beach, restaurants and shops are all close by. The beds are very comfortable and lounge furniture also. A pleasant stay all round.
Very clean, comfortable flat with amazing views across to the Isle of Wight. Also, all the amenities of East Wittering within walking distance. We will definitely be returning.
Doplphins is in a superb position it is spacious with a large garden. The service we received from Baileys Estate Agents was prompt and they were very helpful. We had a problem with a blocked kitchen sink, unfortunately this could not be resolved by the end of our holiday.
A lovely little bungalow, perfectly situated within walking distance of a dog friedly beach. Nice sized secure and private garden. The bungalow was clean and comfortable however patio window was dirty from previous dogs paws. The bungalow is in need of decoration as it is a little tired. The dishwasher top basket is broken and falls of when full.
The only downside was the bed in the master bedroom. Sharp corners on frame and kept bruising legs. Very low and flimsy mattress. TV unnecessary - would rather have had extra space for a luggage stand ! Sadly the uncomfortable bed alone would stop us booking again.
Amazing week, excellent apartment, had all amenities, beautiful views,. Will definitely return to 5 Seagate Would recommend 100 percent. David Spouncer.
This was our third stay at Saltwater and once again it did not disappoint. Such a great location with fantastic views from the balcony. We really loved the improvements made to the garden. It is such an ideal property for a large family and the kitchen, in particular, is very well equipped. This year we had a small problem with a light and Bailey’s rectified this very quickly. We very much look forward to visiting again next year.
Another beautiful week, even if the weather was not at its best. First stay at Tofts, so conveniently located next to the sea front. The house is beautifully appointed, with the double luxury of having a bedroom on the ground floor, and a bathroom per bedroom. Will come again!
A lovely comfortable first floor flat with great views of the beach and within close walking distance of East Wittering village with all its wonderful shops and eateries.
We have been trying to book a weeks holiday at Coastguard Cottages for 2-3 years because they are in a perfect location for both coast and country with East Head a 10minute walk in this area of outstanding natural beauty. The cottage itself was traditionally furnished but with all of the ‘mod cons’ you need. The cottage garden is a lovely quiet area to sit and chat in the evening over a glass of wine. The only drawbacks are that the toilet/bathroom is downstairs and the shower is hand held over the bath which makes it difficult for anyone with mobility problems. I would also recommend guests t...more
Lovely bungalow that we've stayed at many times. New lounge suite not comfortable......previous suite was soo good. Disappointed we had to change our own beds after week one.
I have already listed for Bailey's the broken and worn items that need replacing (e.g. leaking kettle). Kitchen cupboards/drawers are stocked to overflowing so that so many utensils cannot possibly be checked for being cleaned to a high standard. I would recommend this property once it has had a makeover.
Warm, dry, safe, light, clean and close to beach, lift access and outstanding views. Car parking (usually) and handy shops only ten minutes walk.
Wonderful house in an amazing location. Nicely decorated and very spacious. Would definitely recommend and book again.
Bijou! Beautifully clean. Lovely little welcome pack. Shame the bathroom is next to the kitchen area and not in the bedroom. The sofa is extremely uncomfortable. The wooden frame has no padding left and we resorted to using the garden chairs from the balcony. Something outside to attach the bins to would be helpful too.
Just adding to the above review, the Property needs proper curtains to the front bedroom. and some updates.
Location is perfect for beach lovers and walkers a like. Very close to the beach and the footpath to West Wittering beach. Lots of parking , unfortunately the flower bed was a little over grown but we managed to park a couple of cars no problem. Also extra parking to the front..Large garden to front and back. Loved watching the bunny rabbits in the back garden at breakfast time.View to the back great as uninterrupted views over the fields. Upstairs sink needs a little TLC, Baileys informed. 3 Adults and we all had a great time.
1 Gee Gee is a two bed bungalow literally 3mins to the sea front and a 10min walk to the local shops and restaurants. It has it's own little sun trap garden with washing line and garden furniture, a conservatory with table and chairs can be used as a dining room if the weather gets threatening. Plenty of storage space and nicely appointed kitchen makes holidaying perfect. Looking forward to coming back next year.
The property was ideally placed for beach and town. Although dated we had everything we needed and the property was generally clean and tidy. Be aware there is only really parking for 1 car. The one main gripe would be the shower ! it just didnt work, coming back from the beach with 4 people wanting a shower and having to wait for a bath was no good. The property would also benefit from better garden furniture(table & chairs). Having said all that we thoroughly enjoyed the stay.
My daughter submitted comments relating to 9 Ella Close to Bailey's estate agent when returning the house keys. I cannot comment on the property as my husband and I were unable to stay at this property with members of our family, because he had only just been discharged from hospital, being an in patient for 9 weeks. We are currently unable to make plans for summer 2022 because of his continuing ill health. Averil Baulch
We had the most incredible week by the sea in Highlow Cottage. What a fantastic spot! It was very hard to leave. We all agreed, if we could live anywhere in the UK it would be here. So many happy memories. Thank you!
The view is quite simply magnificent. No one will be disappointed at all on that score. The bungalow is ideal for those with restricted mobility being all on one level once inside and with a good handrail to the entrance of the property. Alas there is no handrail at the back which would be a boon especially as the steps and ground around them are hard concrete. The property is quite run down and although one can understand that the rental price to some extent reflects that, especially in comparison with other properties, it is still a considerable amount of money that one is paying. For tha...more
We were somewhat disappointed with the property. It was very basic - more shabby than shabby-chic. It was not very well equipped. There were no information leaflets about places to go to in the area, or any maps (was this due to Covid?). For us, as "oldies", the settees and bed were far too low. The flush on the toilet broke during our stay, but we phoned Baileys and it was promptly repaired. Both the front and back gardens were overgrown with weeds. We could not sit out in the back garden. We have rented many holiday cottages over the years, and for the money we paid, we had expecte...more
