We really enjoyed our week in Riverside House. The location was fabulous overlooking the river and town of Arundel. The house provided a very high standard of accommodation with a stunning master bedroom suite. The playroom was a bonus providing great entertainment for our 2 small grandchildren and the adults enjoyed the badminton net and equipment in the good-sized garden. Communication with the owner was excellent before and during our stay.
The Snug is an excellent holiday property in a convenient and peaceful location. Every need has been provided for. Spotlessly clean, airy, modern and tastefully furnished. We will return.
Our second Christmas at Fairhaven and another lovely stay. The kitchen is well equipped to cook a Christmas dinner for 8 people and there's more than enough crockery and cutlery. The boot room is a thing of envy for any dog owner. To be able to leave wet coats and boots there was great. The furniture upstairs is dated and not very comfortable and the sofa downstairs, although very comfortable is not big enough for 8. The remotes for the two televisions are frustrating but we played lots of games instead. There is no tumble dryer but plenty of airers for drying clothes, the two open fires ...more
We always book with Baileys because we know it will be top quality, Seasalt did not disappoint it is such a beautiful house that felt like home when you walked in. Everything you needed was there although we didn't use the oven or dishwasher it's nice to know they're there if you wanted too. We recommend Seasalt for a lovely holiday, plus Netflix and wifi are excellent.
On the beach in the sunshine a bit of fossiling if the tides are right. Great location and views. Close to eating places and the Sandy Wittering beach a 5 min drive away
Whilst we live locally on a holiday park, we need somewhere to stay for around 16 nights every February. Having seen this property on Bailey's website, it looked perfect. We are so pleased we did book East Winds, it was exactly as it looked on the website and the location was ideal for us, including our disabled mother, so having the downstairs double bedroom with the bathroom with walk in shower just more or less opposite the bedroom, was perfect for her. There are two further bedrooms upstairs with one en-suite & the other has the main bathroom on the landing. Both bathrooms included walk...more
Three generations got to enjoy this lovely house. The house is beautifully done with everything you could need and more for a family holiday. My granddaughter loved all the toys inside and out. Would not hesitate to recommend the house and really hope to be back again next year for our annual week in the Witterings
The flat is in an excellent location with great sea views. Lots to do locally, walking etc. The lounge furniture, we feel is too large for the room, particularly the round chair.
Great house, great location - on the beach yet also a 2 min walk to east Wittering. Well appointed and comfortable beds.
Such a lovely location and a beautiful cottage. Lots would have been good but they were easy enough to source.
Great location, nice and quiet, and very well maintained and presented. If you book I would recommend going directly via the agent (Bailey's) as they are extremely helpful and based locally in the village.
Great, location, amenities, 2 mins to beach . 5 to shops on foot . Comfortable, well equipped, great stay . Highly recommend Baileys and the property. Thank you
Great house, great location, wonderful family time, very special and we all hope to return in 2023 for another week
This is a very homely property which we visited some time ago and were pleased to use as a base to meet up again recently. Our stay was very relaxing and we were really pleased with the instant response from Baileys to attend to a small problem on arrival, thank you to Ruairi and Freddy too.
Third time we have stayed at 4 Elms. The house is nice and spacious, with everything you need. The house has had an extension, which I think is still to be finished. The drive fits two cars easy, and probably squeeze a third of needed. The rear enclosed garden is great if you have children, giving plenty of room for them to play, whilst being safe. The garden is well kept. The famous west wittering sandy beach is about a mile, and easy to walk rather than using the car. Bikes can be left in the garden, but unfortunately out in the elements, so if it rains, they will get wet. All in all, gre...more
Second visit to this property and it won't be the last! Tastefully furnished with everything you could need, in a wonderful location right on the beach and a short walk to all the village amenities.
We go to Marineside regularly when we are visiting family in the area. We always love it and have a relaxing time whatever time of the year. It’s position, facing right on to the beach, is perfect. We had a storm this time and we enjoyed watching the drama of the waves. Unfortunately, the gales and rain blew rain water under the front window causing puddles in the living room. Otherwise it was a lovely, relaxing break.
ideal setup for a large family holiday ,with five grandchildren. very well appointed and comfortable house
Loved this house! It's ideally located and very well laid out for our large family of all ages (18 mths - 65 years). The open plan living, dining, kitchen worked perfectly as it allowed for us all to socially flow together all weekend. There were also great little extras such as a Nespresso machine which all added to the experience. It's a shame that the bedrooms only have double beds rather than kingsize ones, especially given the ample space in all the bedrooms. With the men in our family averaging around 6ft, bedtime wasn't as comfortable as it could have been. An additional fridge woul...more
First impressions are excellent! Brilliant location for the beach (literally a 2 min walk) and only 10 mins into East Wittering. Lovely quiet road and plenty of parking. Be warned it is a tight corner to get into the drive through the gates but once in lots of space. The property is well kept, upstairs bedroom (we didn’t use it but went up for a nosey!) is spacious and has a lovely en-suite with bath. Simple decoration and looked in good order. The two bedrooms downstairs are good, the child’s bedroom is a squeeze and if using the upstairs bedroom you would need to walk through the child...more
We had a great week at Aura Favoni. The location is perfect, being so close to the creek. The house has all the essentials and it is presented very clean. We will book again but we would ask that the owners provide some garden furniture. We had to borrow tables and chairs from family and friends in order to eat outside.
We really enjoyed our short break in this cosy bungalow, it has everything you need and the beds were really comfortable. Pretty close to the beach if you don’t mind a little walk. Much better value than East Wittering which is way overpriced nowadays. We will definitely be back!
Another brilliant weekend with friends, really hope to be back again next year and hopefully with the same amazing weather
The only downside was the bed in the master bedroom. Sharp corners on frame and kept bruising legs. Very low and flimsy mattress. TV unnecessary - would rather have had extra space for a luggage stand ! Sadly the uncomfortable bed alone would stop us booking again.
Our second visit to Tofts. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. Location is perfect for accessing the beach and village. We hope to be back again next year.
It is a warm and comfortable flat with a lovely view of the sea out of the window. It is very spacious. The only things I would like to make things even better are some new comfortable dining chairs, as the existing ones are not very comfortable. The shower also needs updating, as it is very difficult to get the right temperature, and a lot of water is wasted in trying to!
Lovely property and perfect for our family. 3rd visit to this lovely home and will book next year. Cleaning could be improved in areas but apart from that excellent stay
Loved this cottage - which we last rented over 30 years ago! Very comfortable and well equipped - although everything tucked away in cupboards so you do have to explore to find things. Almost everything you could need is there. Perfect for the children who love bunks and a lovely front bedroom for the grown ups. Intervening bedroom is linked to the children's room - fine for occasional visitor such as other family. The layout is clear on the website. Important to accept there is a single bathroom with no full shower downstairs - and the stairs are perhaps not for the very old or very young. Lo...more
Nice property with lovely views. The kitchen equipment was a bit sparse to say the least and the beds, bedding and curtains in the twin room were a bit 'tired'.
TipTop is ideally placed for both the sea and walking. The perfect base for an outdoor and/or relaxing holiday
Wonderful house in an amazing location. Nicely decorated and very spacious. Would definitely recommend and book again.
After having to cancel a short break to St Malo with a friend due to a health problem my friend developed, I was in need of a break as I care for my husband who has Alzheimer’s. My daughter offered to look after her father while my son said he’d accompany me. Having spent several childhood holidays in Wittering and later taking my children there I decided to make Wittering my base and through Baileys I chose 46 Seagate Court. The flat is beautifully situated and well appointed. The views are fantastic and it was so nice to just potter on to the beach. Just a few suggestions......the lighting i...more
Bijou! Beautifully clean. Lovely little welcome pack. Shame the bathroom is next to the kitchen area and not in the bedroom. The sofa is extremely uncomfortable. The wooden frame has no padding left and we resorted to using the garden chairs from the balcony. Something outside to attach the bins to would be helpful too.
Nice clean 4 bedroom house in a nice area with 2 Nice bathroom and big garden we had a amazing stay.
Stayed at No11 several times, and the only thing that let it down, was it looked tired But the owners have redecorated, replaced the blinds and had a general refresh, and now it is a 10/10 Views are awesome, property is clean, location is great, defiantly worth the money We have stayed during the Easter, Summer and October school holidays, and always been enjoyable and relaxing Breakfast at The Boulevard is recommended, as is food from the New Lee Raj
Front garden just needs a bit of tidying because of first impression. But inside was lovely. All items needed for stay was catered for.
We thoroughly enjoyed our short break at this property. Being situated a mere 2 minutes from the beach was ideal for us, and we preferred being at a distance from the traffic in the village centre. The accommodation is basic, but adequate.
Only 1 shower and it is very weak on water pressure, so takes ages to wash. Washing machine stinks and needs a good clean. Kitchen tap spurts out hot water so soaks everywhere. Bedrooms need better blinds or curtains We've stayed here previously and made these suggestions but nothing gets updated by the owner, comments in the paper feedback folder at the house all have these comments going back years ! Come on Baileys ask the owners to upgrade ! Plus is big garden and location on outskirts of town and super close to beach.....but that's definitely what you're paying for.
The property was ideally placed for beach and town. Although dated we had everything we needed and the property was generally clean and tidy. Be aware there is only really parking for 1 car. The one main gripe would be the shower ! it just didnt work, coming back from the beach with 4 people wanting a shower and having to wait for a bath was no good. The property would also benefit from better garden furniture(table & chairs). Having said all that we thoroughly enjoyed the stay.
House was just right for a family, close to all amenities. Beds very comfortable and all mod cons appreciated.
