Lanka Court is an ideal property, home from home. My sons hired Lanka Court, it was ideal for them close to shops and restaurants, and they had superb weather. Thank you Baileys for your help. Sheila Mitchell & family
We've now stayed at Fairhaven for 3 consecutive years, that sums it up as regards a review. If you come back 2 times there is not much greater endorsement of a Holiday Let, (and the people that manage it : thanks staff @ Baileys !!). Overall apart from 3 stays at Fairhaven we also visited East Wittering, (staying at another Baileys run Holiday Let), in 2012, and 2013), which is also a more general endorsement, for East Wittering, as a place to spend a holiday. One final recommendation, we are looking to return next year !!
Turritella is a fabulous place to stay. It feels light and spacious with plenty of room for eight people. Keeping the hedge low gives wonderful views of the sea and it is a delight to sit outside and watch the world go by - depending on the weather! The kitchen is well provided for with everything you need. We usually take bikes down and it's only a three to four minute ride into East Wittering for more supplies. Having two butchers, two greengrocers and two small supermarkets so close is brilliant. The staff at Baileys are always helpful and cheerful. Can't recommend Turritella highly enough.
A lovely place to stay. Bookings dealt with very efficiently by Baileys Estate Agents. Thank you all.
We booked The Dolphins for a week when the sun was shining. The house is big and the extra room for the children to play in really helped. We were really pleased with the facilities provided within The Dolphins. Location - just 15 minute walk to the end of West Wittering beach. We would stay again.
The house is a good home from home for grandchildren. The redecoration and updated TV are welcome. The ongoing work outside meant the bathroom fan was not working but this didnt matter. We are seeking to reserve for next year.
Lovely comfortable property. Very well equiped with all you need. Lovely garden great for sitting out when weather good. Very close to the sea and village centre short walk away.
I have been staying in East Wittering for the last 60 years and so it has a very special place in my heart, since 2014 we have been staying in 46, Seagate Court and absolutely love it - it is lovely to be so close to the sea and perfect that there is a lift in the block which makes getting the suitcases to the property very easy, The property is very clean and comfortable and just perfect for us - we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. The views are wonderful whatever the weather, there is always something going on and we only have to go out of the door and across the lawn and we are on the b...more
The best holiday of the year ,it means all the family get together Superb house good position ,The house was beautifully clean We’ll be back Yours Sincerely Richard Harrington
This is a modern appartment with an exceptional location. Light and airy living room with a panoramic window immediately overlooking the beach 20 yards away and sea front. We have used this appartment for the last three years. The agents, Baileys, are very helpful should you have a problem. Reccommended
A great location just metres from the beach. Fantastic accomodation well equipped, comfortable and presented beautifully. We enjoyed a week stay here & explored the local area it's a great base to visit lots of places. Highlight for us the Jungle paradise putting at chichester golf club, chichester for the cathedral & shopping. We body boarded at the beach daily. Wonderful we will be back.
Positives The Location The Property The Interior Fit-Out in General The Support from Bailey’ Estate Agents Areas To Improve The main front door locking mechanism : awkward routine to lock The interior door handles : loose The BBQ unit : teeny & thus not viable The lack of any outdoor sun lounges / easy chairs The information about rubbish collection timetable : black bin v red bin; and what & when the occupier is expect do At £1700 for x1 week on the West Sussex coast, one expects near-perfection.
Lovely Cottage with topfloor comfy ensuite conversion, plus roomy downstairs accomm for familyof 4 with own bathroom. Spacious and comfy lounge. Really good dining extension, easily seat 8 to 10, with door out to secluded garden. Need a few more utensils in kitchen, esp cutlery. Ideal for grandparents (elderly) like us, with visiting grandson and two small children.
The house and location was great. Parking for two cars, although driving in the drive is challenging due to angle and width, but is fine with careful planning. There were games and toys provided for both adult and children, as well as a DVD player with a selection of discs for those rainy days or quiet times. Any questions or issues were resolved by Baileys estate agents promptly.
5th year coming to Sea Pinks. I scored it excellent in all but value for money purely because the trees on the right of the garden block the evening sun meaning that you do not get to utilise the back garden as much.
A lovely house, with great facilities. We had a really enjoyable and comfortable time. Would definitely recommend to others.
Quirky bungalow converted from railway carriages situated right by the sea. Garden protected from wind by thick tamarisk hedge great for sitting outside. Ample parking.
We have stayed here every year for around 5 years, the location is fantastic literally a 2 min walk to the beach and 5 mins into the town. It is a great property and has a enclosed garden at the back making it great for families. Highly recommended and we will be back again!
Shame about view when sitting on balcony now no view of sea. Mugs need to be checked at end of every visit, needed to be bleached before we could use them. Oven needs to be looked at as door could not be closed. And shower holder dose not work. But hope to be back next year which will be 28th year.
This was a multi-generational week by the sea - and it proved to be pretty perfect. Our 3 grandchildren, 7, 4 and nearly 5, loved the little grass garden area next to the beach, playing there overlooked by the adults having a glass of wine on the balcony. We all loved being able to step straight out on to the beach whenever we wanted. We didn’t use the car all week but the path in front of the house was perfect for the children’s bikes and scooters - especially with the ice cream kiosk at the end. The house was very comfortable and extremely well equipped - I think we found just about everyth...more
We enjoyed our stay even though we had problems we smoke alarm upstairs great location the stairs are dangerous with downstairs toilet
Well, this flat just has a stunning location overlooking the beach and with wonderful views along the coastline. Personally I never get bored of watching the ever changing weather and sea. The balcony means you can wander out at a moments notice to experience this, and the windows are also cleverly designed to give great views too. We have stayed here a few times and will no doubt come back again. If I'm being picky, the decor of the flat is looking a little tired as I have stated before but this is a minor quibble. On arrival this time we were left with only about half a toilet roll and one ...more
The carpets are a bit stained which is to be expected I guess from this property as dogs are allowed. The sofa is not comfortable I guess most guess do not sit for long but we have a five year old he keeps us on the go from 6 am till 8 pm so we need a comfortable sit at this point. The stripy one is more comfortable but was not facing the Tv and we didn’t like to move it. I would definitely recommend to some friends as they need to have places that take dogs and for this it is a fab location. The view is amazing and the location fab the owner who we met on the first day is also very very frie...more
The flat was extremely comfortable and in an ideal location. The wifi was very good. The heating system is so out of date (electric storage heaters) that I brought my own oil filled radiator which was far more efficient and cheaper to use. The only complaint is that that there is no mobile signal to be had anywhere on the estate which is very frustrating.
Was staying in another accommodation and wanted a short break for rest of family (4 adults 2 teenagers and 2 toddlers) to stay to celebrate a 70th birthday. Property ideal - big conservatory for family meal. Bedrooms ideal 2 up 2 down. Toddlers loved toys. Son in law kites access straight on beach. Beautiful view of sea from balcony.
We had a great relaxing week. Perfect quiet location and we loved the house. Only issues we had as follows: We could not get the hob to work all week - it needs instructions Top bunk mattress is poor - you can feel the springs The Shower is not easy to turn on and off - the children could not switch it off We could not get ITV channel to work on the tv Could have done with the following: Tea towels Placemats Parasol for the garden
We have stayed in the house many times over the years. It is always a pleasant place to be and the location is ideal.
Our family loved the stay at Tofts; plenty of indoor living space and the various gardens provided lots of room for the children to roam. The house was well equipped (although a few extra serving dishes wouldn't have gone amiss!) and the location within a short walk to the shops of East Wittering and to the beach were perfect for us. We'd love to stay again!
The house was not clean quite dusty the beds are very uncomfortable the taps were not fixed properly to en suite bathroom a plug socket was loose in bedroom lights not working in garden so very dark in evening the house very basic not worth £1700 at all for a week very overpriced there was a musty smell in bedrooms have rented houses from baileys for years now this has got to be worse one
Property was very comfortable, spacious, relaxing and private. Great for children and good location. Sofas & beds good. Kitchen well equipped and great dining area. Lovely gardens, very quiet. Decor a little dated. However we enjoyed our stay and would book again.
Our first stay in this beach house of a rather quirky design. We all enjoyed our stay at West Hale. An ideal place for a summer holiday if the weather is fine and sunny, but I noted a few damp issues with the old building as unfortunately our weather was stormy and wet. I would recommend more reliable faster WiFi for the teenagers!
Very dirty in general. Dishes very dirty even there was a tea bag left in the teapot, the kettle was so dirty we had to descale it ourself. There was few things broken in the house like furniture. The sofas were uncomfortable and as there was no cushions this made it worse. We had to clean the lounge window as that was the only we could do, it opens to the inside. The pillows are old and uncomfortable. We couldn’t open the windows when it was windy because of its design. We had a lot better time in 5 Seagate few years ago.
Good location, facilities good, single beds ok for children not so good for adults..................
Day 1 could not get out of conservatory door. A man came to fix it and said it was the wrong door ,fitted the lock upside down to get it to work. Day2 storage heaters not working, someone came to fix. The next day still not working, electrician came to fix, still not working,so Baileys gave us a convector heater. After a few days the hot water ran out so we could not have a shower. A plumber came and said it was an airlock . He also said it would happen again as the tank was to small. He was right it did happen again,so another couple of days with no hot water. Three lamps not working. There ar...more
House was OK but a bit dated. The kitchen and bathroom were not very clean. The shower in bathroom needs replacing as it was very difficult to adjust to a decent temperature. Very difficult to park car on drive.
