Lovely retreat close to the shore and the village of East Wittering. This was our second stay in the premises and we plan to return. The house is in perfect order, with all rooms at ground level. The walled garden is lovely with mature bushes. Perfect for a family or a group of friends.

We chose this bungalow because it was adapted to suit people with reduced mobility. One of our number, although not in wheelchair, has to use a zimmer frame or walker. Our only issue here was the parking pad. It needs to be a bit wider to accommodate someone getting out of a car and being able to access a hard surface. The bungalow itself was easy to get around. It was very well equipped and had a nice little garden which could be accessed from 2 of the bedrooms straight onto a small patio. Access to the lawn was via a step at one end. The ensuite shower, which served the main bedroom, only has a rainfall shower head. There is a nice green overlooking the bungalow and you can cross over to access the Coastal path into town. If you don’t want, or can’t walk, on the cobbles take the first road on the right Charlmede onto Longmeads Road and follow this until you can access the coastal path via any of the pathways on the left. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to Shore Road but there are benches on the coastal path. We loved this bungalow and our time in East Wittering.

This is the first time my two sisters and I have stayed in this bungalow. It was very modern and suitable for my sister who is disabled. Nice position too in between wittering and Bracklesham.

A great 3 bed bungalow. Very clean and tidy. A short walk to both the seaside and the village.
The seaside it great when the tide is out. The village has all the shops that you need plus plenty of places to eat out.

We enjoyed our week at Sea Haven. The bungalow looks out on a green and is only a short walk from the shingle beach. The shops can be reached on foot in a few minutes and are well stocked with food and other items. There are plenty of places to eat and also take-aways. The Boulevard take-aways were particularly good. We may well return at some stage.

Absolutely fabulous family holiday just spent at Sea Haven, had everything we wanted for a great week. Loved the bungalow so well laid out and accommodating for four adults and two children. Proximity to the beach was perfect and much time was spent there. Such a quiet location with lots of parking. Small problem with the dishwasher which was handled brilliantly by Baileys. Thanks for the wine sent by the owners. Fantastic week and we will be back.

This year was our second stay at Sea Haven, a spacious and well presented property. It has all the facilities we required and 3 bathrooms, one of which is a walk in shower. There is a small to medium sized enclosed garden which was great for my two dogs. I found it very peaceful sitting in the garden, hardly any noise, except for occasional voices of neighbours. So different from my garden in London with noisy neighbours.

The property is just a few minutes walk to the beach and I really enjoyed early morning walks with the dogs on a nearly deserted beach. There is a large sandy beach when the tide is out.

It is a short drive to West Wittering which is beautiful but a lot more crowded.

I would recommend this property if you want a peace holiday, close to the beach, especially if you have dogs.

This is a very bright and comfortable property well located for E Wittering village centre and the sea front. The shingle/sand is only some 300 metres away. Excellent base for a holiday.

Myself and my family including two small grandchildren and a little dog stayed for a week. We had a fabulous relaxing week.
The property is amazing - spacious and modern with plenty of room for all of us.
All the facilities were very good and the garden was secure for the little dog.
The beds were comfortable and the en-suite shower was wonderful.
The location was walking distance to the beach which we enjoyed every day.
Both East Wittering and Bracklesham Bay were within walking distance and provided good running routes and sea swimming.
We enjoyed staying at this property and will be rebooking another week for 2022.
Ideal family holiday home in good location.

Place was exceptionally clean and a secure back garden for the dogs. En suite walk in shower was very nice
it's 5 mns walk to the beach and abt 15 mins walk along to East Wittering and 10 muns max drive to west wittering..
Although we had a nice break, our only problem was the mattresses as were too soft and hurt my husbands back...Putting a cheap soft mattress on the beds ruined the stay despite the quality of everything else..

Stayed at Sea haven for a week. The location is perfect, very short walk to the beach approx 3min and 10min to the high street. You can also walk along the beach to West Wittering sandy beach which takes 30-40min depending on how fast you walk. With kids who stops non stop it took us 1h.
The property itself needs a bit of attention. There is lots of cracks on the walls, a hole next to the bed in the small bedroom with two single beds, cracked tiles in the wetroom, some look like it might come of the wall. The wetroom is dangerous, my 3,5 year old daughter has slipped and cracked her chin open. We had to rush to an A&E and she ended up with 3 stitches. No more playing on the beach for her and that was only our 3rd day. Holiday ruined. The slip mat is not big enough for the size of the wetroom. The property is not very well equipped, no toilet paper, no bin liners, no dishwasher tablets which should have been provided. Beds are very hard, not comfortable for me but might be for someone else. My bedsheets were so worn out I could see through them. The wardrobe in the master bedroom is falling apart. Thick dust on skirting boards. The only good thing about this property is the location.

Bungalow was very modern. The wide and sloped entrance to the front door is perfect for those who are elderly, or disabled in any way. The bungalow is perfect for wheelchair users as the lounge and bedrooms can easily accommodate such user.

The kitchen is very modern with good cooking facilities. My only niggle is that there could be more kitchen utensils (ie serving spoons) as there was only one in the kitchen drawer. We cooked and ate home most of the time and found that the lack of utensils was a hindrance. There was also no salt and pepper mill! Also, and this may be due to the current Covid situation, but there was no washing up liquid, j-cloths or scouring pads so we had to do a shop and buy these items. Properties we have used before have tended to have a good supply of cleaning materials. This was not the case with this bungalow, but again, it may be due to the Covid situation. The bungalow's position is literally a 5 minute walk to the beach, which is fantastic for dog owners!
It is also about a 5 minute walk to the main shopping centre of East Wittering. Overall, a very pleasant stay in a very good bungalow.

MANY good points - modern fittings, bathrooms, comfortable beds and a well maintained clear garden plus useful home-from-home appliances which we made good use of with a small baby and lots of washing. Smart TV and WiFi worked fine and a good time was had by all.

The location is good for getting to the beach (it turns out that the baby liked the pebbles as much as the sand) and easy to get to the sandy section down at West Wittering, as long as you can walk reasonably well or are happy to pay for the very large car park which is about two miles away.

The pros easily outweigh the cons, but areas for improvement are: the floors under furniture had not been cleaned for sometime. The drive really could not cope with more than one reasonable sized car and the outside clothes drier was sub-optimal. These were all fine as we cleaned where little fingers could reach, parking on the road is not too tricky and the clothes drier was useable (with a little bit of wedging).

I would be very happy to go here again.

Had a fabulous week at Sea Haven. Lovely aspect overlooking the green & just a short walk from the beach at East Wittering. The weather was fantastic all week. The bungalow is lovely & bright. Comfortably furnished with everything needed for a home away from home.

We booked Sea Haven on a recommendation from a family member and were not disappointed. Lovely bungalow in a good location for the beach and easy walking distance to both East Wittering and Bracklesham Bay.

Big bright bungalow. All new modern furniture, lots of storage space. Very clean. Nice garden. Good location near beach and short walk to shops.

The property was really well presented and the owners had obviously gone to a lot of trouble with the decoration, furniture, fittings , the outside furniture and things for children to play with. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need to produce a 'Gordon Ramsey' delight.
Only two, not very important items, would have been nice to have; a pair of kitchen scissors and a soap dish on the wall next to the bath.
I would recommend Sea Haven to any family wanting to spend time by the seaside.
Baileys were very pleasant and obliging and helped immediately to solve a small problem.

Lovely location by the sea. Clean, newly renovated house close to the sea. Very well equipped. Quiet residential area. Had 2 Airbnb's cancel on us and found this house through Baileys for a visit to Goodwood FOS. Was as cheap to stay for week as a weekend in other places in area (as prices are so hiked for Goodwood weekends). Plus the Friday to Friday booking suited us. Lovely area and house. Would definitely use Baileys again.

We are so pleased your visit worked out well to Goodwood and the Festival of Speed; the Witterings area is a surprisingly convenient location for Goodwood events. Sea Haven is a great place to stay with its modern feel, private garden, and beach just along the road. As the property is centrally located in a quiet mainly residential area it is easy to access the beach, shops and restaurants. The property had been cleaned to a high standard and the additional table and chairs in the secluded garden was an added bonus where we could sit in the warm evenings whilst our grandchild slept.
