A recently built contemporary house, Sea Shanty is a laidback treasure on a quiet private road only 100 metres from the beach.
A spiral staircase adds impact to the double-height ground floor open plan living area. This beautifully presented and sociable space includes a large and luxurious corner sofa, a wide screen TV and a wood burner stove. The kitchen area is an equally high standard of design and the owner leaves a well-stocked wine rack which we ask guests to replenish as used. Natural light floods in through the living area's bifold doors, the velux ceiling windows, and porthole-styled round windows.
The bifold doors concertina wide open onto a full width deck area with generous exterior table and chairs, and the enclosed garden beyond is laid to lawn.
Sea Shanty has three bedrooms. One twin bedroom, and one double bedroom with rainshower ensuite are on the ground floor, and a separate family bathroom with freestanding bath is downstairs too. The spiral staircase leads to the upstairs bedroom under the angled eave space which has its own washroom with WC.
