A beautiful high tech property, very comfortable and spacious and good location.
A courtesy call from the owners, as they live next door, would be a nice initiative.
I would happily recommend this property and would return myself.

Ideal place for a weekend break lots of mod cons very impressive conversion fantastic kitchen and dining room great for families although one en-suite was a little snug close to Kirkby Lonsdale lovely shopping, walks and supermarket would stay again if in that part of the country

Excellent car parking spaces x3. These properties are the focal point of the village well presented on a bend. Stylish and sympathetically designed acknowledging its heritage. Full of features. Very well equipped and furnished throughout. High quality kitchen equipment. Excellent wash house. Spent a lot of time indoors as it rained all week its space made the holiday a great success. Lovely welcoming neighbours both sides. Would come again probably at short notice as we only live one hour away.

Excellent property, all possible household requirements supplied , refurbished to a high standard , perfect for pets , great location , would definitely use again.

Overall we had a lovely stay in this beautiful accommodation. Spacious and well furnished -- plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen was well equipped. Bedrooms comfortable and 2 ensuites a bonus !
Owner very quick to help when there was a problem with the heating and we requested 2 highchairs for twins which were provided on our arrival .
Handy location for the the Lakes and surrounding areas.
Only negatives -- gravel parking was difficult to park on as laid very deep and very dusty under sofa in living room . Had to retrieve a toy from under it and found alot of dust and an old dusty sock !!

The Old School Hall in Whittington is a beautiful holiday cottage, renovated to the highest standard. Many of the original features of the property have been retained, such as the huge fireplaces in both the lounge and kitchen areas, and the upstairs roof trusses are beautiful. But a contemporay twist has been added with the new wood and glass stairway and the kitchen is to die for, with every modern appliance you could ever need. Other touches include beautiful ornaments, wallpictures and cushions and throws for warmth on a cold evening. There is parking for three cars and a lovely patio at the rear for warmer evenings. But if you don't want to cook, three great restaurants are within 15 minutes of driving, as well as those in Kirkby Lonsdale itself, which is a beautiful market town. There are loads of amazing walks within driving distance and the views of the Dales are spectacular. This is the perfect place to stay for a vist to the Dales.

A very beautiful cottage (fantastic kitchen!), with great facilities. I can't rate the kitchen higher - usually when we go to a cottage, I was everything up before I use it, but not here! Also, usually there is some piece of kitchen equipment you want which is missing, but not here! Would definitely book again. Seems like a small thing, but the whilst the use of the heavy duty large gravel around the property may deter burglars, it was really annoying to walk on every day!! Yes, I know very minor! having transport is a must as there is no where really to eat within walking distance. We were fine though. So much to do and see in the area. I would thoroughly recommend. The architecture of the original build is still intact and it has been refurbished to the highest and most sympathetic standard.

What a truly outstanding venue to spend any number of days! Unfortunately we were only staying for three nights on this occasion but would certainly intend to stay longer next time. The property is a credit to the owners, builders, agency and staff who prepared the house. it has everything that one would require for an enjoyable stay, beautiful accommodation in the bedrooms and lounge areas, every conceivable utensil and white goods to facilitate any length of stay. The environs of the property are aesthetically lovely and ideal for external dining/relaxing which because of the nice weather, we were able to experience fully and to enjoy. Minutes from Kirkby Lonsdale its is a stunning base from which to enjoy all that the area has to offer. It is a venue that would encourage one to become very selfish and keep news of it to oneself but that would be a great disservice to all who have had a part to play in offering such a lovely property to people to enjoy their holiday. We can only hope that all who may have the pleasure of occupying the house in the future will treat it with the care and respect that it deserves.
