The Old Stables - with hot tub- is the perfect holiday home for exploring the Yorkshire Dales, with views of Ingleborough this is a little slice of haven. The large enclosed garden and original stone floors make it perfect for your pets.

Stayed four nights. Weather was appalling so didn’t explore much and appreciated the comfort and facilities in the cottage. Although furnishings were generally of a high quality, the foam pillows were a disappointment. Lighting in the sitting room was a bit dull if you wanted to read … it would benefit from an uplighter or two. Limited space in the kitchen if you’re bringing your own food.

Lovely cottage, well equipped, in a great spot but it was freezing despite using the log burner. It just never got warm in either the kitchen or main room. We were reduced to wearing 2 fleeces each indoors. Not only that, hot water was totally insufficient. Only 2 of us staying and the second person in the shower daily got a luke-warm shower.

Had a fabulous five days. Cottage is stunning, well equipped and faultless. Maisie (cockapoo) loved the garden and the adults loved the hot tub. Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend.

A big thank you to the Old Stables. A beautiful cottage in a stunning location. Absolutely worth booking this cottage if you want a peaceful relaxing holiday with no stress.

The only downside was the cleanliness on arrival which we can only assume there was a big gap in between letting the property so we needed to do a full clean on arrival due to the unacceptable amount of spiders in the property in each room, including the wardrobe and bath which should have been picked up before our arrival by the housekeeper.

Please do not put you off booking this cottage we had a fabulous week here and would recommend booking your holiday here.

I would definitely book again.

The old stables is extremely well kitted out- very comfortable. Super views from property and very peaceful.
The hot tub was an excellent addition!
Good central spot for visiting malham, Clapham and settle, unfortunately the footpaths from the property shown on ordinance survey map appear to no longer exist- however we found some superb walks a bit further afield!

Old stables is a a beautiful cottage set in a peaceful and picturesque area. Well designed with the addition of a hot tub made for an enjoyable break. Highly recommended but you will definitely need a car to appreciate the dales and local sites.
