This was our 4th stay at North Bode. It feels like home. It's very comfortable, roomy enough, well equipped, spotlessly clean and well situated for Lerwick's amenities. We don't have the room serviced during our stay, but the staff will replenish items that are running low (loo roll, kitchen foil, etc.) It's our first choice of accommodation in town.

What a delightful place to stay. As soon as we arrived we were sorry that our visit to Shetland woulld be so brief. Nort Bode is without a doubt one of the nicest, most comfortable and well equipped places we have ever stayed. It was also absolutely spotless! We met Dawn when we arrived - thoughtful, engaging and very helpful. We very much enjoyed the restaurants she recommended. Shetland was a wonderful place to visit, and we would stay at Fethaland again in a heartbeat. It was a very reasonable cost too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fethaland in Lerwick. The apartment was elegantly decorated, very clean and cosy. It had everything we needed for our three night stay in Lerwick. The location is perfect for seeing all the highlights of Lerwick and is also in a lovely peaceful area. The flat is centrally located and very well equipped with good available space for parking outside; the bedroom' s black panelling a bit sombre but well-furnished and the lighting good; the lounge/dining/kitchen room multipurpose and functional even if the table and chairs are a little cramped when erected; the facilities room excellent. In an autumnal wet and windy visit it was was a warm and welcome base from which to explore Lerwick and Mainland Shetland.

The apartment was spotless with lots of detail and thought put into the provision of what you may need for the stay.
Also impressed with the application of Covid safety. The processes in place made no impact on the quality of the stay but made us feel safe.
It’s just a gem of a place to stay in the heart of Lerwick. Short walk into town and so well placed to tour the whole of mainland Shetland. Cannot recommend this enough.

Fethaland was ideal for a week's stay on Shetland. Good facilities with a well appointed kitchen and comfortable bedroom. Nice and close to the harbour and main Lerwick eateries and shops. Plenty of space for parking. Although 'housekeeping staff' didn't enter the property for Covid-safety reasons, there were clear notes for if we needed anything, plus we had good engagement with some of the team while outside the apartment where they were very friendly and keen to check that we had all that we needed. All in all, a good place to stay and a good base for travelling around Shetland which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Our second time staying in the Fethaland and our 4th trip to Shetland. We were not disappointed. Everything about the apartment is perfect e.g. Spotlessly clean throughput the modern apartment; really comfortable bed and lounge furniture; plenty of storage for clothes for a week; large smart tv in lounge with another tv in the bedroom; use of netflix and iplayer accounts; plenty of crockery and cooking equipment (although we did little cooking as we like eating out in the variety of restaurants in Lerwick); very useful washer/dryer and dishwasher (all cleaning products supplied); drying rack for clothes that cannot be tumbled. The owner is extremely welcoming and friendly. The apartment is fully serviced daily on request meaning that we were able to ask for things like milk, coffee, tea, salt, pepper, toilet paper, towels, washing and dishwasher tablets, sheets, soap, shampoo etc. to be replenished. This was extremely useful. We will definitely be returning to stay at Nort Bode again and highly recommend this property.

This is an owner/family run business which I cannot fault, everything was immaculate, very well designed interior, even down to entry system options to make access very simple. Plenty of on street parking directly outside. Everything you could possibly need and super helpful people running it, definitely 5* Easy to walk into the centre. What can i say.. lovey,beautiful,a little gem...I have travelled to the island for several years now, having stayed in many places but none as nice as here.This was my first time at Nort Bode and I have already said this is where i will be staying at every opportunity. From initial booking to check in, the communcation was first class. On entering the appartment i was met with an immaculate space. So fresh and clean. All finishes to a very high standard from the kitchen area,the appliances,the sofas,the flooring , the decor....all great. The large TV in the lounge with smart function was a bonus, as was the TV in the bedroom. Everything you could possibly need for a great overnight stay was provided. The bathroom was spacious and also finished to a very high standard. Clean ,fluffy towels and a lovely big shower area. I enjoyed my stay and cant find any fault and well definately be back..thank you Nort Node.

We had a lovely few days in Lerwick staying at this apartment.
Brilliant location for us meaning we could access lots of our activities easily. Fethaland had everything we might have needed and was lovely and comfortable to relax in after a busy day.
This all added to making it more of a treat for us after lots of our original plans had to be cancelled during lockdown.

I have just returned home from this beautiful serviced apartment. It is perfect in every way. Spotlessly clean, everything you could possibly need for cooking and comfort. The owner is always around and keeps everything immaculate. It is perfectly placed near the heart of Lerwick with easy access to the town, Shetland museum and archives and the main roads. We were there in total for 6 days and the accommodation was outstanding.The location is close enough that you can walk into town in 5 minutes and the apartment has all of the amenities that you would ever need. Includes 2 TV's, a washing machine, dishwasher, etc. And they also of the utensils you would need to cook your own food.

I've had trips to Shetland and Lerwick for a couple of years now, always been disappointed by the standards of the hotels and the guest houses aren't really for me.
I was recommended to try the Nort Bode Apartments and, now I have, I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.
Approx 5 mins walk from the main street, 10 mins from a co-op supermarket and 20 mins from a Tesco.
The standards of the apartments are fantastic, they've been kitted out with high quality radiators, appliances and furniture.
The service provided is exactly what I look for - attentive yet not intrusive, and run by very genuine, friendly, lovely people.
Book as far ahead as you can, because when the secret is out, nobody will choose to overpay for a shoddy hotel room when this is a cheaper and far superior option.

Nort Bode Apartments are very high standard ! Everything was so clean! Very well equipped with everything you needed. I will be recommending them to all my friends !

As stated above these apartments are an excellent place to stay. I book each month for work and there isn't really anywhere else I would look to stay
