Apartment is fantastic, this was my 4th or 5th stay and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Everything you need and a great location. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Sands of Breckon was great. The apartment surpassed expectations. Everything was well thought out and every need catered for. It was clear that the apartments are well cared for and I can honesty I’ve stayed in luxury hotels that did not meet the levels of cleanliness we found at Nort Bode.
Due to Covid restrictions the apartment was not serviced during our short stay. But the arrangements in place to receive clean towels etc and other sundries was great and worked well.
The location was great too, with free on street parking and everything we needed within walking distance . Our apartment was ground floor and this would be perfect for someone who perhaps struggles with stairs.

small but very cozy and above all spotless apartment. It was a bit confusing we didn't see a table, but after a bit of puzzling we found the solution (we don't have a type of cupboard that can be transformed into a table in Belgium), very friendly staff and owner. The rent for the apartment seemed quite expensive to us in advance, but afterwards it was worth the money. Thanks to our accommodation and of course the island itself we had a great holiday

Overall, an excellent apartment and stay. The VRBO listing pictures do not give this apartment justice. Be advised that the parking situation is street parking, however plenty of street parking is available…so no complaints there. Having both a washer + dryer is an excellent amenity. Easy walk to anywhere in Lerwick is a plus. Shetland was beautiful, and we would definitely stay with Nort Bode again.

Sands of Brecon is a lovely modern apartment, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need for your stay and the apartment is located in a quiet area with easy access to shops, restaurants etc. Many thanks to the whole team looking after the apartments, who are happy to help with any queries and especially for quickly forwarding an item, left in our apartment in error. Everything was exactly as you’d hope for in a short stay apartment and it was clean and well maintained.
Our only issue was the very heavy duvets. It would be great to offer a lighter quilt for those of us who get too hot under very heavy bedding

My husband and I stayed in Sands of Breckon for a week and it was the perfect base. Great location and we had everything we needed. The apartment was the perfect size for the 2 of us, super clean and cosy.
The access system is simple with codes sent before arrival.
Andrea was so friendly & helpful when our ferry was cancelled and she also let us know as soon as the apartment was available for us. We appreciated her help so much! We also bumped into Dawn one morning, the owner, who was lovely too & eager to check that everything was ok with our stay.
Highly recommend staying here & we will book again in the future when we plan a summer visit to Shetland!

Sands of Breckon in Nort Bode Apartments in Shetland provided my wife and I with excellent accommodation for our first stay in Shetland. It was centrally placed in Lerwick which enabled us to reach anywhere in the town within a 5 - 10 minute walk.
The apartment itself was fabulously appointed and it was serviced every day to the highest of standards. We couldn't have asked for better.
We loved it in Shetland and the Sands of Breckon played a major part in the success of our holiday.

Our stay was very pleasant, and this is a rare self-catering accommodation that is happy to accept late bookings of less than a full week. I would recommend it to anyone, and the parking is also very convenient for travelers with cars.
